Great food, great service, good selection of beers. We have been to Fate a number of times, and never had a bad meal, or bad service.

Garbage beers, Garbage staff. I have no idea what the fuss is about with this place. There is way better in CO!!! Don’t waste your money. If you like having a bite to eat and then shitting your pants 10 minutes later, have at it.

I came here to eat and have a beer, and spent the next few days puking my guts out. Apparently I came down with norovirus which is caused by eating human feces on food when the preparer doesn’t wash their hands. So, if you like to eat human feces, I would recommend this place but otherwise not so much. Not only that, but their service sucked, and beer was sub-par compared to all of the other amazing breweries in the area. This place has no soul, no quality, and just downright sucks. I’m amazed they’re still in business.

OK. So this is a very focused,(Limited) review. I love Cuban sandwiches. I think that I have tried all of the offerings in Boulder.(Cuba Cuba, Moes, Riffs…) The Cuban at Fate is the best yet. Lotsa meat. Fresh soft white bread. Used a Panini press. Delish! The waiter/bartender was friendly and professional. Yeah, I will be back. Rog

Nice vibe here. Met some colleagues for lunch. I went for the wings … OK … followed by the walleye sandwich. Again pretty nice. Not outstanding but a chill place to have a beer and chat for a while.

Some of the best food in Boulder. Great atmosphere, got the Fate Cuban and the backyard BBQ dip and it was delicious.

Food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. The happy hour menu was exactly what we were looking for after a long hike. We are from out of town but I would definitely come back to FATE brewery.

Well I see some real sour stuff here on Fate, who knows. But for us, the food was original and delicious, the beer very good — not my fave but very good, and the service just terrific. We went in around 7 on a Wed nite, bar was full, outside patio where we sat also pretty full and a lot of people not served food yet. I thought, we are going to be here a lot longer than I want to be. But our very lovely, attentive and friendly server had our drinks to us in minutes, somehow, and then our food came out within 10 minutes of ordering and it was great. I had a BBQ plate they do, burnt ends and bacon and beans mixed together, pretty darn good. But my companion had some new salad they’re offering that was like, melted feta(?) cheese inside toasted peppers, oh man that was delicious. THAT I will go back for and maybe try a burger, they looked great. And if this is not the ‘real Fate’ I’m sorry, but it’s a fine restaurant/bar in my book. Get over it.

What was once our favorite stop for brew, we will most likely NOT return. Stopped by at 10:50 am for lunch and great beer but was told we would wait 20 min for a table. Explanation given was they just sat a large party before us(indoor seating was completely empty). Disappointed and sad we couldn’t enjoy a brew while in town.

Disappointed– there are much better brew pubs — Fate is trying to justify its inflated prices with upscale menu descriptions which fail to deliver — similarly the beer selection was not to my taste. Competition is strong and Fate would do well to reevaluate its model or it will not prevail.

As Fate would have it… Really liked the build your own taster tray. Big list of beer offerings that covers the gamut of styles. A good Kolsch and I typically hate that beer style. Nothing that was out of this world or too unique on the beer front, but also none of the beers were bad or exhibited any poor characteristics. The menu looked good, but I was too busy drinking to try the food. (Hate to kill a $ 50 buzz with a $ 12 cheeseburger!!!) Good location and a clean nice sized space with lots of room. Service was extremely prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. There are some bad reviews on Unilocal about the food, but the menu looked great and I would not hesitate to eat here. In fact I will likely make it a point to have dinner at FATE on my next adventure through Boulder. Cheers!

We were at this restaurant on Wednesday 4÷20÷2016. We had 5 people in our party. All co-workers and 3 out 5 of us ended up getting FOODPOISONING. I can see by the post in Unilocal about this restaurant and it is not the first occurrence. This has happened before if you go down and read the reviews! Back on 2⁄26 John A experienced this painful issue.(FOODPOISONING) On 4÷21÷2016 I made a phone call to complain to the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager. On the phone the manager/owner was pretty rude. I was asking for a refund or at least to get an apology. He even accused me of getting sick from somewhere else. Since I was not getting anywhere over the phone. I decided to show up at the restaurant in person. By the time I got there he called the police and he was saying he felt threaten. I went there just to talk to him as the connection on my cell phone was not very clear. I have been sick for about 2 days, the same as my co-workers.My co-workers and I showed up to the office but we had to go home sick for the day. Even today on 4⁄22 I am still sick and I need to take another sick day from work. I am hoping this stomach pain will go away sometime over the weekend. Anyways. what ever happened to customer service? Customer is always right? He didn’t even apologize once. I have been in most of the restaurants in Boulder and this one has been my worst and painful dinning out experiences. No I will not not go back to this restaurant even if they offer me free food/beer.

I still love this place, and was super happy to find Moirai on tap at my hotel. Service is great, beer is great, food is surprisingly good. The inside seating is excellent and the outside seating is amazing. One thing to fix – and I don’t know how – is the parking. Everyone else already knows that the above paragraph is true, so they’re all here.(Somehow it’s still easy to get a table.) Maybe when they move into the Avery space…

Tiara the bartender is awesome. So is the rest of the staff. Everything is super professional and this place seemingly defies the lax service standards everywhere else in Boulder gets away with. I got a salad, because I thought I would be healthy whilst I put away pints of beer. The Doppelbock was amazing but FATE also has a vast selection of whisky, whiskey, and bourbons. I will be back. The salad was actually pretty good but they should toss it before they serve it.

This place is huge! I got the buffalo Mac and cheese and asked for no spicy sauce. What I received was just a Mac and cheese with crispy chicken… No buffalo. I wish the server would have told me that if there was no spicy, that meant no buffalo! I cook buffalo quinoa every week and my buffalo sauce is not spicy– my husband adds hot sauce to make it spicy so I thought it’d be like that. She should be more clear next time bc the Mac and cheese was just ok. I tried the ginger beer. It tasted homemade but I wasn’t a fan. The ginger was so strong! I just must not like ginger that much.

How do I get started… YUM!!! YUMYUMYUM!!! I freaking devoured my brisket melt! Normally when I get something and order it, it’s good. I am not a complainer… this however is a DREAM come TRUE! This is the type of sandwich you will eat and think about and miss and want to adopt. I want to work there for a day or two just to figure out how I can make my own… originally I ordered because I am on a health kick and thought sourdough bread… probiotics…duh! But once I took a bite… OMG! Gave my hot girlfriend a bite and thought I was going to have to take her to the ER to have her eyeballs pushed back in… being serious… never saw them pop out that much. So did I say YUM! Anyway sorry I don’t have a picture for all of my fans… I ate it too quick! It was delicious!!! Brisket melt… GO! YUM!!!

I need to preface this review with the fact that I didn’t have any beer at FATE Brewing Company so my review is for all things outside of what they are known for. I went to FATE Brewing Company one Saturday afternoon around 4:00. Thankfully the restaurant was fairly empty because we had a large party, but didn’t have to wait for a seat. I ordered the Pit Boss Burger(Meyers Ranch patty, smoked cheddar, spiced-honey glazed bacon, house-smoked ham, caramelized onion, FATEBBQ sauce, potato bun). Sounds amazing, right? While it was a good burger, it did not live up to my expectations. I could see the bacon and ham, but they couldn’t stand up to the rest of the flavors of the burger. There was nothing wrong with the burger, it simply wasn’t the mouthful of flavors I expected. The server was friendly and helpful when asked for advice, but service was fairly slow considering the slow business of the restaurant that day. Our whole meal took close to 2 hours from sitting down to receiving our bill. The menu had many options, but I felt it was slightly overpriced(a dollar or two). I ordered a burger and an iced tea and payed $ 20 after tax and tip. This is a great place for a large group and appeals to a wide variety of people.

This place was great! From the nice ambiance to the great food and beer. Everything was on point. We were seated immediately and our server got us drinks right away. I got the Fate sampler flight as I had only previously tried their IPA. All were good. For food I got the pulled pork sandwich with fries and my wife got the standard burger and fries. The only hitch in our whole experience was that mine came out with salad instead of fries(which I need more of anyway ;-/) but the manager was right there and offered to correct it at once. However my wife decided she wanted the salad anyway and gave me here fries. The manager still offered later to get us more fries but, honestly, the portions were plentiful. Later the server(who was great) got me tasters of RR Blind Pig, Stone’s Thunderstruck, and Fate’s own Atropos. Surprisingly I went with Atropos as it beat out the big boys for taste. We will be back soon!

A truly unique and distinctive brewpub that is as creative as it is capable. FATE is far more than just another of the standard, trendy microbrew companies that continue to crop up across the state. There is tremendous quality, craft, playfulness, and adventurousness woven into the ethos at this place. The waitstaff are very friendly and down to earth. None of the brews or dishes is quite what it appears. There is always some different and unexpected combination of flavors and aromas in what they serve. The menu is somewhat intimidating, and incredibly lively and fun. I went with the rib tips, which were phenomenally tender and beautifully marinated and spiced. We went with the core flight, each of which brought a different yeast or hop combination to their respective varieties of beer. FATE does not bother trying to create idealized versions of particular varieties of beer, but instead tries to subtly reinvent them. FATE is deeply innovative; you can find anything but normal here. Drop your stale expectations and you will find something truly wonderful here.

Came here one with a small group for a boulder beer tour. This was our first stop, mainly cause their menu looked so good. So glad we did! The staff is helpful and offers suggestions with the beer. Service the first time was slow, and eventually they forgot one of our table mates meal, but made it right, and put his food in a togo box… It all worked out! The second time we visited was date night, we got a table outside, in time for happy hour and ate nearly all the little plates! Yum! Our waitress that time was super sweet, helpful and on top of things! It’s not a bad drive on a friday night from denver, Just sayin… Everyone else is going the other way! The beer, for me is sorta hit or miss. I’m not really a gal that is into hop(i know, i’m totally un-coloradan), but do like sours, browns, and wheats… I eventually get something agreeable, but it takes a bit. Obviously that means i need to go more! Pro-tip — kids get some sort of discount during brunch, so keep that in mind if you don’t want to deal with that business. Definitely one of our favorite destination breweries!
