Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill

The food is excellent, every time I come, it is wonderful, however the service is the worst service that I have ever experienced in my life! On both occasions we made an order online, and both times, the order was not ready by the pick up time. The most recent time, I was there, it was not ready 10 minutes after the scheduled pick-​up time, normally I can wait with no problem, but when you are on your lunch break, there is a reason you order ahead, its so you can go in, pick up, and get on your way. What we ordered was not in the bag, it was close, but missing all the toppings that we requested. Literally the salad that we requested was lettuce and meat, that is it… This isn’t the first time this has happened either! Sadly, I will not return… Its a shame, because when you actually get what you ordered, the food is on point, but getting what you ordered is another story.

My favorite chicken salad and the Gyro meat has been improved since the last time I tried it. I love this option for quick eating. The menu has a lot of selection for different tastes as well. Anxiously waiting for a location closer to home so I can indulge more!

They lost a customer for life, and I eat lunch out every day. The food is great, but I just wanted water and they wouldn’t let me have a larger cup than their 4oz sippy cup next to the soda machine. Major pet peeve and total customer service fail.

This is one of my favorite places for a fast healthy food. It’s cheap and the fresh salad and the Babaganuj are great. The falafel and hummus are good but the Babaganuj tastes much better.

Always really really tasty, and they give you a lot of food on the plate. Love the sample of falafel they give you every time you come in, too! I get the chicken/​falafel as the protein.

I personally loved it for my first time and went again the next day. Free falafel sample was fantastic l. Healthy food and I enjoyed it.

This place is as cheap as Chipotle/​Noodles & Co, but with a great selection of Mediterranean food! Sometimes places with this menu set have food that is really greasy or full of gluten-​contamination. The food here isn’t greasy, and except for things that obviously incorporate wheat (ex. tabouli), every thing else is gluten free. They even have gluten-​free pita bread! So, add this to the list of great quick, cheap eats for those with celiac’s!
Of course, the food also was delicious. I really liked the falafels and baba ganoush.

I came here last time i was in Boulder and loved it, this time it was just as good. Super fresh good food.

Wow. Super happy with this meal! Got a salad with portobello mushrooms, hummus (on the side), veggies (cukes and tomatoes), babaganoush, feta, kalamata olives, and red onions. I topped it with tzatziki and was in heaven! Even after I declined the proffered pita, I was still stuffed. My BF had a wrap with hummus, bababganoush, falafels, tzatziki and red chili sauce. He was very happy, too! For about $ 16, we are totally satisfied.

I needed a bit of a snack and I was already at the Mall. I had heard the falafel was OK and yeah, I guess it was OK. At least it was hot and fresh, but overcooked crusty and still too oily from the fryer. But a decent flavor. I just got a side serving of 5 pieces and a mini container of tzatziki for dipping.
But honestly, not anywhere near the quality of Boulder’s old standard on Pearl.
The staff was friendly, most of the tables were occupied, prices seemed quite low, parking simple and it looked clean.

This place has gone down hill. The gyro was white and pastey. The falafel was like eating sand. The worst part was the manager reprimanding an employee in front of customers; to boot he told another employee tell that customer not to expect that side again. Food and Manager customer service has gone down hill. You are better off going to the Mediterranean Market on 28^th and Bluff, great food and service.

I tried Garbanzo in Denver and loved it – so I was ecstatic to see that there was one here in Boulder. Unfortunately, my experience was less enjoyable than I had hoped.
When my girlfriend and I arrived at 915pm, 45 minutes before the place closed, they had clearly already shut down. Mats were rolled up and stacked on tables, vacuums were going, etc. When we tried to order the chicken kabobs, the boy said «I’m sorry, we’re out of those.» My girlfriend and I looked at him quizzically, and he started stuttering that the grill was off. Then, my girlfriend asked how long it would take to make them – and he said, «about 16 minutes, but the grill is already clean.» Clearly, he did not want to interrupt their early closing to make a standard item for a customer.
If you decide to go, I would suggest going very early in the day to guarantee that entire menu will be available to you.
In situations like this, I always wonder what the owner would say if he/​she could see the staff cutting corners in this kind of fashion.

I usually love eating here but today was not one of those times. I called in a Oder Togo and upon arrival the order hadn’t been made prepped or mentioned to any staff. There was no apology given and no offer for the inconvenience at all. I had to leave and come back for my Oder to be ready and still upon second arrival no apology for the lack in service or error on their part. Strongly advice that this location to work on their customer service.

Wow, impressed. This place is a Mediterranean Chipotle. Twice as much fresh, high quality food as I need for $ 7.50. But here’s the thing that truly makes this place worthy: decent falafel. Really, that’s so hard to find, especially at one similar yet very disappointing establishment on Pearl St Mall. I’ll be back.
The only thing keeps me from going with 5 states is that the aforementioned falafel is not cooked to order and therefore not hot.
A couple weeks later: Just noticed this place has an «A» health grade. Exceptional.

Garbanzo’s is great fast food.
The food is always fresh and the choices are fantastic. I usually get a gyro or a gyro plate and they are really enjoyable healthy meals. I especially enjoy getting the gyro with their pickled cabbage and lots of tiziki sauce. so yummy :)
Also shout out to the staff as every time I have visited I have had a very positive customer service experience.
A really solid option for a healthy lunch!

I really really like Garbanzos. I get so much delicious food for a reasonable price. I also really like that they offer patrons a falafel while they are in line. The restaurant is super clean and there is also outdoor seating available if that’s more your style.
The Garbanzos club card offers great savings and the receipts typically contain a survey (which when completed can be turned in for a free drink — score!).
i’ve also ordered catering from this location which went smoothly both times. I was impressed that Garbanzos orders are ready in a super large re-​usable Garbanzos bag (haven’t seen this anywhere else). Makes transport a breeze. The only change I’d like to see is for catering to be ready for pick up a bit earlier in the day (my meetings are usually around 11 AM or so).

The staff here is phenomenal. They are always so nice and positive. I am happier every time I come in because of their awesome attitudes. And the food is always yummy!

You can get a kid’s stuffed half pita here with ANYTHING you want in it off of their bar for $ 4.99. It also comes with a side and a drink — now that is a DEAL. I like this place because it is healthy, Mediterranean, and CHEAP. Great for when you watching your diet and in a hurry!

It is one of the best places to get med food in boulder at a low rate. The food is good nothing extravagant. The hummus and falafel are the best over here. The baklavas have been on and off. Few days they were awesome, few days I just felt I wasted money. It is a quick stop for lunch, it actually attracts a lot of the student crowd. The pitas are made fresh but gets hard quickly. So I don’t recommend pita for a takeout.

Good food, but not the best gyro by any stretch. Soup could use a bit more oregano. The gyro is made with pre-​sliced portions not with the big chunk of meat that rotates and is sliced at the time of serving.
Service is good, good selection of food and beverages, easy parking.
