Great burger place with good music. Great place for lunch. Fries serving is always plenty.

One of my go-to-places and favorite«basic» burgers. Try the regular(double patty) cheese burger with grilled onions, bacon, and mayo.

This was by far one of the best fast food burguers I’ve had. The fries were perfect, not factory like. Portions are big. And the service was pretty good. Although, i believe five guys is a bit expensive for a fast food chain. I highly reccomend it, i would definitely go back and choose this stablishment above the shack, in-n-out and others. The free peanuts are a great treat.

The burger was so greasy and bland. Fries were greasy and bland. The bun was soggy when I got it and I ate at the location. Just not good. Over priced. I can think of many placed in Boulder to get a way better $ 10 burger. Good milk shake though but not good enough to justify the horrific burger.

Its great for a fast food place and they have nice burgers. There are plenty options of free toppings like fried mushrooms and fried onions.

Pretty terrible food, never again. Burger wasn’t good. Smash burger on the other side of the mall is much better. Fries were almost entirely grease and not in a tasty way. I’m not sure I could even eat those when I’m high and I occasionally eat things I’m allergic to when high. I’m all for clogging arteries, but only if I get something from it, like food that tastes good or at least isn’t… this.

The burger places are piling up around here and I needed to sort them out and pick my favs. Somehow, I had never gotten around to Five Guys, so I gave them a try tonight. They moved right up into my top 3. One of my main issues with burgers is that I really don’t want lettuce, tomato and especially not mayo on my burger. And that is so easy here. It is an «addition» toppings menu rather than a «subtraction“option like so many places. And I love grilled onions, never eat them raw. Perfect! they will do that. So a single burger, cheese, grilled onions and grilled mushrooms on a soft fresh bun. I’m happy. But what made me even happier? They made my order of fries without the salt. Cheerfully and unquestioning. And they are fresh cut, skin on fries. And some decent drinks beyond the soda venue, 4 kinds of iced tea. The staff was friendly and efficient and the place was bright and clean. And even with Trader Joe’s now moved in on the other side of the parking lot, there was still close in spaces to Five Guys. Nice in bad weather. I will be back.

As a former Angeleno, every time I eat a burger I’m comparing it to In-N-Out. I’ve done pretty much all the burger chains around here(Smashburger, Larkburger, Good Times, etc) and Five Guys is the closest thing to In-N-Out you’ll find. I ordered the«normal»(which means double in Five Guys) cheeseburger with Cajun fries. The burger was seriously one of the best I’ve ever had and the fries where unreal. The staff was great, the place was clean, the food was high quality and cooked perfectly, they even had free peanuts(although I don’t know why anyone would want to eat a bunch of nuts before putting down a large burger and fries). Great place, great food. Not much more you can ask for.

Over priced, bland burger that left me looking for the bacon I wanted. Plenty of vellvita cheese to go. Both slices placed between the meat. Soggy fries that were just thrown into the bag. It was truly disappointing to go to a place that a lot of hype had been put in. Did it want to be a greasy spoon? Not even close; The fries were to try to get the bag what they had thrown it in and the most moist thing on the burger was the cheese. None of this I would consider healthy; because everything was to stale in taste. This is good cafeteria food at most. And to pay 14 bucks for just one hamburger and a lot of barely cooked fries is really disappointing.

It was ok. I wanted to LURVE this place based on my friends’ reviews’, but here’s how it really went: All my friends said«you have to try five guys, they have great burgers!!»” But really I was unimpressed, and generally disappointed. time: roughly 1PM on a Monday greeting: absolutely friendly. nice conversation, understood what I wanted. burger: took about 10 minutes. That’s OK with me. I’ll wait for a good burger. And from what all my friends have told me, this is a ‘GOODBURGER’. burger: ordered a regular cheeseburger with LTOP, ketchup and mustard. No problems here. $ 13 for a cheeseburger, regular fries, and regular drink. That’s ridiculous. I should have gone to a real restaurant for that price. burger: fell apart promptly. I tried to use a fork to keep things in order, but even that didn’t work. Bun and MEAT was extremely ‘grindy’. Can we talk about how they use American cheese for their ‘cheeseburgers’? I wish I had known that in advance. For one, I don’t want to pay extra, and second I don’t want artificial plastic in my lunch. I wish they used Cheddar, I would pay for that. fries COULDHAVE been delicious– should have had an extra 30 seconds in the fryer, but you could tell they were fresh fries. price: for a cheeseburger(note cheese is actually american cheese, gross), paid over overall: don’t bother. super expensive for mediocre quality. Bring a fork if you really want to eat. EDIT: I’d like to note how incredibly friendly the staff is here. Think of Chick-fil-a but they’re open on Sunday. Very impressive.

With Smashburger and Larkburger both around the corner, I’m not sure why anyone would go to Five Guys. It’s decent and certainly better than fast food burgers like McDonalds or Burger King, but doesn’t hold a candle to those other two burger places.

Delicious, spot-on burgers and fresh fries. Yum! There are numerous topping choices for free(grilled onions are free!), with a number of specialty add-ons like barbeque sauce. Be warned that the«normal» burger is two patties! If you want only one patty, order the«small». Boy, that was a juicy, tasty burger and the buns were toasted nicely!(Cold buns turn me off). The staff at the 29th Street Mall were terrific, very helpful and polite. I was pleasantly surprised that the staff kept themselves fairly busy, sweeping and refilling condiments, and not just standing around when things slowed — big props guys. The seating is very basic and no-frills, and the temperature inside is a little chilly. One word of caution: they have bushels of free peanuts in open crates — so all you folks with peanut allergies need to stay away. YUM, more for me! But seriously, the peanuts are everywhere, so if your child, spouse, etc has an allergy, you’d best head over to Larkburger or such. Big thumbs up to 5 Guys at 29th Street Mall. I need to see if the spot on the Hill is as impressive as this spot.
