Over the past few years, I have come back to Lark Burger and gave them a chance, and to my surprise, they’re doing better. They came up with a happy hour where they’ll sell their small burgers for 3 dollars, so I usually go during the happy hour time. Also their truffle fries are absolutely delicious. I love them. The burgers are my favorite, I really like their special sauce they use and it adds a unique flavor to the burger that enhances the flavor, you don’t even need to add cheese to it. Their meat are well seasoned and veggies are crisp and fresh. I only go on happy hour because it’s cheaper otherwise I don’t go. I’ll continue to come back to this business.

I had been very happy with visits to another Larkburger location in Salt Lake City; this one was just as good. I had the Larkburger with Parmesan-truffle fries and a chocolate shake. The burger was very tasty and the shake was thick and flavorful. Service was good and cheerful.

The concept behind Larkburger is so simple and they execute it so well. These burgers are so juicy and full of flavor. The execution of simplicity here is interesting because their ingredients probably don’t differ much from other burger joints. Other people commented how it is expensive for fast food, but I would consider this more of a «quick service» joint than a traditional fast food restaurant with a drive thru. Think of Chipotle but with burgers. Please expand to Texas! I would love to have Larkburger where I live. Oh also, that soft serve ice cream is seriously the best soft serve I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and get some if you stop by.

Took 25 minutes to get an order to go. Ordered 4 burgers and fries. Some burgers with cheese a few without sauce. When I asked why my order was taking so long, I just got some blank stares and a few head shakes. Not even a «I’m sorry, let’s go see what’s happening». Finally get home and two of the four orders are wrong. Oh and did I mention they forgot to give me the milk drink for the kids meal? Either morale is low because management is awful and treat their workers poorly or they think customer service isn’t important since the business is good. The thing that people tend to forget is that nothing is permanent. And the businesses that start forgetting about the customers don’t always last. At least they’ll start struggling since the next best thing is always around the corner.

You can get lots of healthy options here, we just polished off a fresh Rocket Power Salad with mixed greens and grains, it was delicious! They have fresh brewed iced tea and great shakes with super large straws! Yum!

Truffle burger. Truffle fries. That is all you need to know! I added fried jalepenos and pepperjack cheese on my burger and it was to die for! No condiments needed.

Please do something about the stench of the dumpsters just outside the front door. Food is very good for fast food, but the ambiance is seriously damaged by the neighbour’s dumpsters.

Decent burgers, but expensive for a fast food joint. The regular burger, which appears to be 6 oz. or so, is about $ 7 with tax. Add fries, and the cost rises to about $ 10. The burgers appear to be freshly cooked to order. We asked for medium rare, and the meat was cooked correctly. Overall, the burger was good. A decent, average burger. I wouldn’t mind eating one again, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to acquire one. As for the fries, not good. Cold, limp, tasteless. Avoid the bathrooms. They are located in a utility hall that runs behind all of the stores in the strip mall. In the hallway I was confronted by several transients who were hanging out there. They blocked my path. I turned around and went back into Larkburger. Very glad that something worse didn’t happen. (For $ 10 you can get the best burger you will ever have, plus a heap of fries, at a place located on Walnut, less then a mile from Larkburger. Message me if you want to know more.)

For visitors, the truffle burger and fries are worth trying. Different from In-N-Out and 5 Guys. I thought it was odd that medium seemed more pink almost throughout whereas I’m more used to slightly pink in the center. But I am told that is standard in Boulder. The burger was still good, but I may have preferred medium-well.

I’m a So Cal native who has a deep love of In-N-Out, so it took me nearly two years of living in CO to try Larkburger. After my first bite I was totally addicted. Definitely add bacon and cheese to your burger — they made it even better! Also, I ordered online for pickup and it was totally easy. We had some special requests on our order due to a food allergy, and they nailed it. Can’t wait to go back soon!

The truffle burger and truffle fries are both excellent – fresh ingredients and cooked to order. On top of that, the staff is exceptionally friendly and courteous.

It was okay. Burger was rare. Tuna burger was not warm. Servers were very nice. But for $ 40 for the three of us I think I might try elsewhere. It was tasty but not amazing. I’m comparing to The Habit which is my favorite tuna burger.

Excellent food with a sustainability twist. The food is pretty good for fast food, and I recommend adding the bacon of you don’t get the BLT. The menu is simple and easy. I really enjoyed the truffle fries even though my serving was mostly small crumbs. They have a small selection of beer and those at this location were local. Ice cream and milkshakes on the menu, but we didn’t try them so I can’t comment. The service in general was very friendly and helpful. So, in general, somewhat similar to Smashburger, although sustainable ingredients and boxes, cups, etc. and the food tastes a lot better(not nearly as greasy). Hint: take the kids on Monday night when kids meals are free with purchase of regular meal.

I’ve been looking forward to this burger since I first had it over a year ago. I live in LA and work in Boulder, and finally got back to this place. More than anything else, the meat tastes… fresh. It’s delicious and well seasoned, perfectly cooked, but most of all, fresh and clean. That’s an odd quality for a hamburger, but I might go back tomorrow. It’s hard to find a seat during the lunch rush, but parking is easy and you can just eat in your car. They have Oskar Blues beer and milkshakes. Pretty hard to find fault!

Meh the burgers aren’t mind blowing. I like how they have two sizes. The parmesan truffle fries are definitely not worth the extra charge. However, the fries themselves are pretty great. I have had a few of the burgers on the menu and my favorite is simply the lark burger with bacon(another extra charge).

Larkburger has been disappointing these days. This rating is more like a 2.5. I will still give them one more chance, but this visit was already a sort of «second chance.» I have eaten here regularly for a few years but have noticed that 1) it has not been as clean as it used to be. For a place concentrating on self clearing of the tables, they have fallen into the situation where they do not get to wiping down the tables or picking up debris from the floor often enough. They did set up some neater«dumping» stations but that is not enough. 2) The food does not seem as fresh or tasty. The quality of the beef seems lower, a little gritty and smaller cooked patty. There was a lingering heavy taste from the grill. The fries were still good and the workers friendly. I don’t think it is just me. It is no longer such a busy place. No lines, lots of free tables. Maybe others have noticed too.

When Larkburger in Boulder first opened, I certainly had several 4-star dining experiences here. Some with friends, some with family, and a few dining solo or at a table nearby interesting acquaintances who happened to be there trying out Larkburger. The consensus during the early years was that the food was top quality. I hadn’t been in for awhile, and ventured back a few weeks ago. What I noticed is that the portion size(size of my turkey burger… bun was same size) had decreased whereas the price of course is still upwards of 6 bucks for a burger. The fries, while tasty either with or w/o truffle parmesan, are too much salt for me. I don’t really order fries anywhere. The problem was the burger. Much smaller portion, did not taste fresh, and in fact I thought perhaps they had charged me for the regular size but had given me the smaller size but the person who brought my food to the table insisted that was not the case. They’ve added lots of new items to their menu which must be a chain-wide thing. Some of the items sounded good. I’m not sure if I’ll be back here. I am not much of a meat eater and they do not have particularly good deals on salads. From what I’ve observed they have small expensive salads that are prepackaged. There is so much competition in Boulder now with all the new burger places opening. All of them need to take the time to ask questions, and listen to the answers, to understand the Boulder market. Everything in business is not just dollars and cents, though certainly«money talks«, it’s a good idea to listen to what it’s saying to you! Otherwise the customers, and their spending money, will stop coming back, which is what has now happened with me, my family, and Larkburger.
