Great fast food made from good ingredients. One of my more favorite fast food burgers. Always tasty! :)

Nothing wrong with this place at all, the food is pretty good. It’s a chain fast food joint, so expectations shouldn’t be too high. Perplexingly though, the drive through has you order on the driver’s side, but then pay and receive your food on the passenger side. Needless to say, this is a little awkward if you don’t have a passenger to act as middle man. Weird, I wonder who designed that and if there was that moment when the first single driver pulled up and they were like *DOH!*

I used to frequent the Boulder location all the time, but my last 10 visits or so have been very disappointing. Missing food, poor quality, inaccurate order… there must be something going on internally, and I hope they get it resolved soon.

**Edit** I have since talked with the local guys and they have given us a free meal and said they will look in to the service. We have been back two or three times and things do seem a bit better to me. However, the last time I was there a car load of people(4) had to all go back to the counter after leaving the drive though to get their orders fixed. When they left, they discovered that the orders were prepared incorrectly again. Instead of going back to the window, they drove by the secondary drive up window and threw their food at the building while cursing the place. So, though I’ve not had any more problems, it seems they are still having some. I’m updating my review to three stars, but wont give it the 5 stars I’d like because they obviously still have a ways to go. Lastly, they switch from locally cut fresh fries to frozen is VERY noticeable and we don’t order fries at Goodtimes anymore. **End Edit** This is in response to a terrible experience my wife and I had today. After we placed our order, we drove home with our food. It’s a 15 min. drive home. Once we arrived home we discovered that the order was not filled completely. Half the order was missing. I drove back to Good Times and asked them to finish filling the order. They begrudgingly agreed after a short debate on what they had missed. When I got the order, I looked in the bag and everything seemed to be there. When I got home and opened the sandwich, I discovered that they had given me a plain bun and one piece of meat. The order was for a deluxe with the works. It felt intentional this time around. I wasn’t prepared to go back to the store for another 30 mins round trip, so I ate what I had. Not only didn’t we get what we paid for, we spent an extra half an hour driving around to try and fix it, and no one even so much as suggested to make up for the mistake in anyway other than to fulfill the original order, which they didn’t do. I don’t think I am asking to much by requesting that someone to make a gesture of good will to make up for this incident.

As a rule I’ve 86’d all fast food restaurants, however… I love this place. * FAST * CONSISTENT * CEAN * FRIENDLYSTAFF You can get cheeseburgers w/Avocado, Bacon, Blue Cheese, etc. as toppings and it feels fresh and yummy every time . They turned me onto Rootbeer milkshakes that I now crave. My children love their chicken tenders. Best regards,

Good quick and like the burger. Fries and custard to finish dinner. Nice and did not break the bank. Not open too late so great for afternoon or dinner but not late night.

Fast food doesn’t get any better than this. Even that anti-fast food expose, Fast Food Nation, had good things to say about the practices of Good Times. As I’ve gotten healthier, I’ve phased out fast food almost completely, such that this is now the only one I still go to. Most recommended: The Big Daddy Bacon Cheeseburger, and a shake of your favorite flavor. Also, their chicken tenders taste like real food.

I only tried the custard here and it was pretty good. I don’t necessarily enjoy when you expect the toppings to be mixed in with the custard and not just sitting on top but i guess next time I’m in the area ill have to see if that’s even possible. Ill have to try and ask next time I suppose.

The evening of July 11, 2012, I went to the local Good Times in Boulder, CO(approximately 9:30p MST) and was horrified with what I witnessed.(Good Times address: 205026th Street, Boulder, CO80301). Upon reaching the walk-up order window, there was a large cockroach sitting on the outside counter. As soon as I alerted a Good Times employee, he gathered his coworkers to watch as he reached through the window(from the Good Times kitchen) and speared the cockroach with a plastic, Good Times fork. From here, the Good Times employee proceeded to put the still alive cockroach in the faces of other Good Time employees. Next, this employee and another Good Times employee proceeded to put Good Times BBQ sauce on the cockroach and pretended to feed it to one another. After several minutes of watching, in shock, the initial employee proceeded to light the cockroach on fire with a personal lighter — immediately beside a table full of Good Times food items. After dismembering the cockroach for approximately 5 minutes in the Good Times kitchen(visible to all customers), the employee discarded the cockroach in a trashcan and proceeded to make my order. Immediately following, I requested a Manager who refunded my order without question. To my surprise, the Manager was among the employees who witnessed, and participated in this disturbing act. I’ve already contacted the Good Times corporate office, however, have received no notification of receipt or plan of action. For the health and safety of yourself and others, I do not recommended visiting this Good Times location. –Brandon

Best fast food, HANDSDOWN. The Wild Fries are out of this world, the frozen custard is decadent, and the meat is All– natural Coleman beef. Plus they have Paw Benders for your dogs; what’s not to love!!!

I hope their meat is indeed natural like they claim, because that’s a huge part of my justification for making this one of my only fast food stops! For what it is, their stuff is great. I like their spicy guacamole burger. When i’m broke and/or not looking to stuff myself silly, the crave menu is perfect. Its definitely not healthy, but it satisfies a dirty american craving.

Okay, I’m from CA and the references to In-N-Out made me try this place out. The drive thru was quick and the fries were piping hot(yum!), but the burger was so-so. It was fine, just okay — they could make their burgers a tad bigger in my opinion. This is probably Boulder’s best drive thru so maybe my expectations were too high, but I’d rather go to Smashburger than here.

Staying in Boulder and finding the time late and myself hungry, I found Good Times near my hotel. Seeing comparisons to In ‘n Out, I was uneasy(I’m in the non-In ‘n Out-loving minority) I hoped for the best. The burger was fairly hefty, lots of veggies and the red onion choice, rather than a plain white breath-killer, was a nice touch. It could have used just a dash of salt to have some real flavor, or perhaps it’s summer and I just am craving that grill taste. The lettuce was crisp, and the tomatoes actually tasted like real tomatoes, not a pink tennis ball. The Wild Fries reminded me of Rally’s fries, only slightly thinner and with a pleasant taste. A little dip in some Wild Sauce was fine, but unadorned was better. My only complaint is the lemonade. It tasted like water and ascorbic acid, with a little sugar and perhaps a handshake with a lemon. While it wasn’t too sweet, which is a plus in good lemonade, there was almost no lemon flavor. They could have given me a «lemonade» out of the soda machine, and it would have probably been slightly more acceptable. So, all in all, it was good when I was hungry, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the burger, and were I hungry late-night again and it was close, I’d go again… but order water!

You let me down, Good Times I went on a late night dinner run(this happens on occasion when I sleep through 5−9pm). Good Times is usually reliable. However, this time they got my order wrong – instead of the standard deluxe burger, they gave me the Atkins’ heart-attack special(gross). The wild fries were also seasoned a little too strongly(or perhaps I’m not wild enough). Anyway, I’m just disappointed :(

For your fast food greasy burger fix this is the place to go. They have 2 drive-thrus so the service is pretty fast. They have burgers with bacon, cheese, avocado, salsa, blue cheese, and onion rings in various combos. Also they have both a crispy and grilled chicken sandwich with again, various combos of toppings. My burgers and chicken sandwiches have always been great, with a good bun and fresh ingredients. My fries are also pretty tasty. I found the custard to be really good, but the shakes lumpy with ice chunks. Having grown up in California with In N’ Out, this place is the closest approximation so if you miss In N’ Out like I do, this may alleviate some of your grief.

Finally, an alternative to the places I used to go to in Texas: Whataburger and Jack in the Box! This place roxxors your soxxors. And they have fresh cut fries. w00t! Get a #5 Big Time with Onion Rings instead of Fries. Put the Onion rings on your burger. Consume. Or, if you’re a fat or plump American, repeat. Go to Good Times. Do not go to the McDonalds or Burger Kings. Good Times ARE the Burger Kings. I just wish they did breakfast.

*Review Posted on Another Location as Well* I like the Boulder Location for the people-watching. This parking lot is always busy(PACKED!) and there are people coming and going all the time. This one is clean, too. Review: I was impressed with Good Times. As a rule, I’m not a «Fast Food Fan.» But I am most definitely a Hamburger Fan. And who doesn’t love some good Angus Beef? So, after hearing repeated good things, I tried it. And I’ve been back. Their burgers are Angus, and above par for the«Fast Food» category. They are thick and juicy, and just greasy enough to cause the occasional yet supreme craving. Their condiments are fresh and plentiful. It’s a good all-around burger. There are interesting toppings available(Thick-Cut bacon. Mushrooms. Guacamole.) Definitely Above-Average. Their onion rings are Thick-Cut onions, with sweet batter, crisp and well-drained of oil. We usually get large order to share with our burgers. They also have a version of a «Slider» or «Mini Burger,» The Bambino. They offer a 5-pack of the little gems, and they’re waaaaay too easy to pop in your hand(and therefore your mouth) while driving. They come plain with their«Secret Sauce» on it.(Yet another variation of Ketchup, Mayo, and Spices.)(See Photo) But here’s the thing: Good Times has FROZENCUSTARD. The Thick, Rich, Creamy Frozen Custard that seems to have disappeared of late. But not here. They have daily flavor specials(Such as Oregon Blackberry or Cheesecake) and they have a menu of Blended«Spoonbenders» as well as cones or cups with toppings and milkshakes. Seriously. Yum. All in all, it’s still«Fast Food» but it certainly doesn’t act like it. Better quality than McD’s or BK or Sonic or Wendy’s. Their basic burger is still only $ 1.99, so the price is right, too. The frozen custard is the icing on the cake. Or in this case, the custard beside the burger. It’s a good bet when you don’t want to drop $ 25 and/or an hour on 2 restaurant burgers, but don’t want to completely sacrifice quality and taste. Did I mention the Custard?

Preamble: So I don’t like to give out 5 starts often and I want to make sure that everyone knows that this 5 stars is in relation to other food in this category. So Good Times Burger Drive Thru does not equal Mateo. While normally trying to avoid the giant corporate fast food system, once in a while you need to eat in the car. If you gotta do it — do it at Good Times. With food, formulas many times lead to mediocrity or worse. However with Good Times it seems different. They have genuinely thought through the drive though experience and how to make the customer happy. For example: Coleman Beef — A really great natural product raised humanly and processed correctly. all GT burgers are Coleman. Real lemonade — They will substitute a lemonade rather than the usual Pepsi-co drink for a little additional cost. The main thing is they sub without any problem. Flexibility is part of the formula. Wheat buns — OK so your not exactly gonna solve your fiber problem with one of these guys but they are tasty and certainly have more substance than the white air foam at McD or BK. Leaf lettuce and ripe tomatoes– My sandwich came with a really nice clean bunch of leaf lettuce rather than the usual head lettuce and a good ripe slice of tomato. Two sided drive through — the line moved quickly. Got the order right — I think the most common problem with drive thru’s is this scenario: I am in the damn drive thru because I’m in a hurry, finally place order after having to listen to some automated speech trying to sell me something I don’t want. Place order, get order, pull out of lane and discover the order is wrong. What to do? Get back in line? Find a place to park and walk in? Or, drive off and swear that you’ll never do this again. Anyway GT always repeats my order back and gets it right on delivery. Wide bags — Rather than the usual skinny vertical bag with everything stacked on top of each other GT uses a nice wide shallow bag that allows you to keep your car a little bit clean and it’s functional. Lot’s of little details that add up to about as good of a car eating experience as you can get.
