Heirloom food truck is one of the best in Boulder. The food is always fresh and tasty. The owner, John, and his boys are laid back, cool dudes who are always professional and prepare their food with care. Lamb sliders and their soba noodle salad are my faves, and ya gotta try their pork! Definitely a must try Boulder food truck.

Beef Stew over French Fries with white cheddar, what more can you want on a snowy day. Food is always excellent and fairly portioned. I love the flavors and the quick service.

Just used the Heirloom truck to cater my wedding rehearsal dinner in August 2014. The food was delicious and the prices for our large group were very reasonable. John was great to work with in the planning process. We received many compliments about the surprising and fun food choices. A great idea for a more laid-back event.

Outstanding! We just had a wedding and luckily were able to have Heirloom provide much of the food. Every single person who was able to get some, said that the bahn Mi and the Short Rib were the ‘BESTFOODEVERAT A WEDDING!’ If you ever have a chance to try John’s food, you’ll be blown away by the amazingly fresh quality and unique flavors! Way to go.

Some of Boulder’s restaurants could sure stand to look to this truck for inspiration. The pork-belly sandwich with apples and blue cheese is really top notch. The folks that run the truck are extremely friendly. When they park outside Upslope, it instantly becomes the best brewpub in town.

There are some comments here, mine included, about how it the quantity of food served doesn’t match the price. While I used to feel that way, I have since changed my mind. The flavors that come out of this truck are simply beyond what you’ll find at most restaurants. Read one of their daily menus. The ingredients used and how they are paired together is fantastic. The lamb sliders are their staple. Taste one and you’ll see why.

I can recommend the brat. The ‘homemade’ sausage is from a store in Hygiene. It’s slightly spicy and apparently simmered in beer for several hours. The mustard really stole the show though. The seeds in the mild mustard gave a crunchy texture that contrasted nicely with the pieces of caramelized apple and sautéed onion. Delicious! For $ 7.57 though I would have expected a bigger portion than the 6 inch piece I got.
