Crabgrangoon was disappointing. Food was mediocre. The egg drop soup had peas and corn in it.

If I was only rating Jin Chan’s food I would give it two stars. It is bland and somewhat greasy. However the two times we have ordered delivery were totally unsatisfactory. The first attempt took over 90 minutes and the food was luke warm upon receipt. The second, and LAST, time we cancelled the order after a full two hours of waiting. Would strongly recommend getting your Chinese food from somewhere else.

Awful! We ordered delivery and it took an hour, fine, at least the food was hot. We each ordered an entrée with a side of fried rice and I ordered egg rolls and he ordered pork rolls. I really hate pork. We also ordered cream cheese wontons. They combined our rice into one container, even though they weren’t ordered as one. Also there were literally no vegetables, no flavor, no egg. It was just normal rice with some weak soy sauce(I can only assume because of the color). Then they combined the rolls. None of them were pork like we ordered. The wontons had nothing in them and they were burnt. But we got about five things of sweet and sour sauce. Awful! I would not recommend this place. They need separate containers for separate orders. It’s not that complicated. If I had ordered this in person I would demand my money back, but I got it through hungry Buffs so I’m not going to deal with that. But I will not be eating their bland, pathetic excuse for food.

Jin Cha had a nice old lady taking orders but she kept pushing me to order a meal I didnt really want. The food was ok but I was really expecting better from a little shop ran and owned by a Chinese family. The won ton soup was very good but the other items I tried were pretty average.

OK. Lunch prices are much more reasonable than dinner. We had a pricing snafu where we were charged nearly 35% more for a dinner entrée. We noticed the price difference and it was corrected when we brought it up. Maybe it was an honest mistake– but it left a sour taste.

I was sick and determined not to leave the house, so I decided to order delivery to the house via Hungry Buffs. When my order hadn’t arrived in over an hour I called to make sure it had gone through. The person who answered the phone said it was at the front of the queue, but they’d been busy, so it was taking a while. It took another 40 minutes before the delivery came. I live blocks from this restaurant and my food all arrived cold. I got the pork buns, sesame chicken(I know, not authentic, but I was sick and it was what seemed appealing at the time) and crab rangoons. The total was $ 23. The buns were dry and flavorless. The filling in the rangoons was weird. The chicken smelled divine but tasted like stale garlic oil. I nibbled a little bit and left the rest to eat the next day. The next day all I could bring myself to eat was the fried rice. Threw the rest out. I’d maybe give it another shot stopping in the restaurant and ordering some of the more authentic Chinese food, but I didn’t like this and will NOT be ordering delivery again

NEWOWNERS! The new owners have cleaned and scrubbed to turn this so-so restaurant into a new and super clean location for authentic, small-batch, gourmet Chinese and Vietnamese food. The new owners show a love for good food above and beyond expected. They really put passion into their cooking. They serve better food than Zoe Ma Ma and at much better prices. One pork bun at Zoe Ma Ma is $ 2.79 and Jin Chan has 3 buns for $ 3.95. Plus the parking is easier and seating area is more spacious and the me ye more diverse, with authentic street-food AND full meals to share. Triple win for me!

Honest to god Chinese food. Not the slimy American version. The real thing. Great people and unbelievably good food. Order from the traditional side of the menu. Seriously the best in Boulder v

$ 50+ worth of food down the garbage disposal. The chicken in the various chicken-based dishes was mostly gristle. The sauces were barely there. The coating on the sweet and sour shrimp gave off a powdery substance. We used to really like this place when it was in its previous location. I don’t know if this was an «off» day or what, but go easy on your first order with them and make sure what you are getting is edible.

There are much better establishments in boulder for Asian food. I ordered delivery… it took 20 minutes and the food was bland. No spices at all.

I think that the ownership is changed hands and the food is not as good as it was before.

I had high hopes after reading some of the reviews… I love chinese food and I’m not terribly picky, but this bummed me out. My meat was sorta weird and grainy. The sesame chicken wasn’t great. The fried wontons had too thick of a shell. Delivery was prompt, but it wasn’t worth it. I really wanted to love this place!

We had delivery and the food came within 10 minutes if our requested time and was hot and delicious. Our order included the Super Bowl and green beef curry which was spicy and pretty fantastic. Also had the pork gyoza — yum!

Want eat some dishes not on the menu but in your mind? Ask the chef Lao Liu there. He can design dishes for you once you become a old customer. Taste good or no paid. The Chef is easy-going there.

Fast delivery. Food came hot and fresh. Loved everything. I LOVE the phở soup and shrimp tempura especially. What a great find! If I ever have a cold or flu this place will be the first that I go to for phở soup.

My husband and I tried this place out one night when we were struck with a massive craving for noodles. We ordered from the authentic Chinese menu and were pleased with the results. After living in China for a few months, my husband was transported back in time as he took his first bite. The owners here are very sweet and checked on us often. I love this restaurant because it reminded me of many asian restaurants I frequented as a child with my parents while living in the Bay Area. No frills, just basic glasstop tables, newspapers strewn about and delicious, quick food.

The Phở is GREAT. The owner is very friendly. I pretty much have the taste bud for phở and a good company made it a great experience. I got the special combination phở, and eggrolls. I came here on a snowy day and the wait was not too bad, however be ready for a packed restaurant! I also learned that they do online ordering and delivery.
