Bull Locks Hair

I went once before and Kathleen cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it into a semi-​pixi cut. It has been about two months and my cute semi-​pixie cut grew out into a weird bowl cut so since she did such a good job last time I booked another appt with her.
I took in a picture of what I did NOT want as well as a few pictures of what I did want, which was basically shorter all around, a little more framing of the hair around the ears, and to blend my bangs better.
She essentially cut my hair identical to the picture I brought in as an example of what I did NOT want (the before and after pic.) Before she began I told her time and time again and truly begged her not to make my hair look butch and to keep it soft and feminine and she seriously made me look like a dike.
Not only that but when I was clearly not that happy with it she got rude and started attacking ME saying I should have been more clear about what I wanted EVEN THOUGH I BROUGHT IN AN EXAMPLE OF EXACTLY WHAT I DID NOT WANT, WHAT I DID WANT, AND BEGGED HER NOT TO MAKE ME LOOK BUTCH.
Now I’m left crying and crying and wanting nothing more than to crawl into a hole until it grows out.
My bonus prize was a big chunk that literally looks like a 90 degree angle or of my bangs (even though I said soft and faded.)
I will never go back. All she does it talk and talk about nothing, pay no attention to what you want, and overcharge you for it.

My whole experience was on point. I called, asked if I could just come in, «yeah sure!». I was assigned to? kathleen?, she knows the right questions to ask (heck if I know what cut I wanted).
SHE TRIMMED MY BEARD! Best part was, she didn’t screw it up. I was terribly afraid when those clippers got close to my face, but she faced my four months monster with tenacity and precision.
Who cares if a female gives you a cut instead of a dude? A good cut is a good cut no matter what genitals you have.
Beard trim and haircut: $ 29+tip.

I called and the friendly man on the phone asked if I can get there in 15 minutes and Christina will cut my hair. I went there and was totally satisfied. I wasn’t able to give Christina a lot of direction because I had grown out my hair and all I told her was I want it shorter and do what you think looks good. The length was perfect. Christina did a great job. I will be back. Thanks again!

I showed up right at closing (unbeknownst to me) but Kathleen stayed late for me. I’m very satisfied with the haircut she gave me and it was a fairly fast cut. The salon has a very comfortable sporty feel (decorated with sports memorabilia and big screen TV). Very satisfied overall. Paid 22 for a mens haircut (plus tip).

I’ve been there twice to try out each barber (Al and Z), both do excellent work and I felt good about both cuts. I’m not crazy about the décor, walking through a retail shop to get to the back room seems awkward and not very barbershop like, but the work they do is most excellent. I wear a traditional businessman cut, highly tapered, precision is important and they both got it right… The owner Mike was there, very nice guy, really wants you to have a good experience.
Al and Z are gone. No longer a place for me. I like guys cutting guys hair…

Great place with comfortable old fashioned barber chairs, like God intended ;). Also a good product selection whether you are getting your haircut or not… oh and the barbers are great too!

I’ve been looking for a good, dedicated Barber ever since Roger The Barber on Pearl Street started losing his mind and I discovered that Floyd’s is like the Hooters of Haircuts. Bull Locks is now my go-​to.
No BS, very reasonably priced, skilled barbers, and always accommodating. The third time I went I wasn’t quite happy with my hair so I gave them a call and they brought me back in to fix it for no charge. Highly recommend this place if you’re an everyday guy just looking for a high quality trim with none of the other nonsense.

After waiting 35 minutes past my appointment time, I was in the chair waiting while the only employee dealt with a new walk-​in. I got a bad feeling about the likely results and ran, never to return.

I went here for a haircut after failing to find exactly what I wanted for over a year. When I came in, all of the employees were extremely warm and welcoming and clearly had genuine excitement to be at work. My haircut was exactly what I had asked and I continue to be happier about it every day. I highly recommend bull locks salon to all of my friends, male and female: a great experience with kind people actively listening to ensure the perfect cut.

I love this place. I used to get my hair cut at the denver one, and when this opened I went here right away. All cuts hair with the best of them. Sorry relaxed guy, and I always feel so good about myself after, lol. Five stars
