We do a lot of escape rooms, and we felt this one was below average, compared with the rest in the Denver/Boulder area. We did the Psycho Killer(their only room at the moment) and found it *Too easy: with only 2 people, we escaped the room with over 15 minutes left and we didn’t get any clues. *Cliché: Unimaginative plot line and standard puzzles *Overpriced: Escape rooms always cost $ 25/person unless the room is in a high-demand location or very high-tech. This room was on the outskirts of town and had no tech at all. That said, we liked how they included a live actor, even though it was just the room moderator who stepped away from the monitor now and again. I’d only recommend going here if you’ve exhausted the other escape rooms in the area.

I got together a big group to book the whole room, and we all had a blast. We did manage to escape with about 11 minutes left so we felt it was the right level of difficulty. The puzzles were fun, and we were talking about them after we had escaped. Just a warning that the employee may try to scare you while you are in the room.

Had a great time this weekend at the Boulder Mystery Box with my three teenaged sons! Clues were the perfect amount of challenge and worked as a team with four other adults. Stressful, tense and exhilarating! We’re still talking about how much fun it was!

This is a must go to! I haven’t had that much fun/anxiety in a long time. The concept and clues were fun to figure out. You have to be able to think or your never escaping the room. I loved it and am going back for sure. If anyone wants to go, let me know. In in for sure! Shit I’ll even pay!

Fun family outing with our two teenagers. How often can you get them to go do something with you!!! All four of us really enjoyed it. Challenging, very well done.
