Best boba tea in Boulder! I’ve been here at least 10 times and always love the drink options they have available. My personal favorite boba tea is the Chai Wallah. I’ve never had a drink like it and I highly recommend it! The only reason I didn’t give a five star review is that they are out of boba pretty often. Looking for a healthy café to satisfy your tea/smoothie/health-bowl craving? Pekoe sip house is the place to go!

Pekoe is the best! Friendly staff and amazing teas. They took the time to explain everything. I always look forward to coming here when I visit Boulder. Best boba in town!

Pekoe is one of my favorite coffee shops in mid to east Boulder. Super friendly staff, great drink selection, and tasty chai bring Pekoe to a solid 4 stars. Vegetarian/Vegan Tip: They offer non dairy milks for any drink(they do charge a bit extra) and offer several vegan and vegetarian baked goods, burritos, etc. They also have some gluten free baked goods. I frequent Pekoe during the weekday when I need a break from the office. They are always bustling but not as busy as in the morning rush. The staff is always very friendly and they will suggest drinks based on what sounds good to you. They have also frequently made things for me that aren’t explicitly on the menu(baristas that can’t be inventive are the best!). Their drink prices are similar to elsewhere in Boulder but they have always been prepared perfectly. I’ve never had a bad drink here. The only downside I have to this place is that it is fairly small and so can get crowded. The counter to order is kind of odd to get to in these times since there is not much room to line up. I recommend any of their chais and they have good boba. The boba is sweet by itself so I tend to get them in less sweet drinks.

I tried their boba tea, not bad, could be a little sweeter so it’s closer to the way it should be in Taiwan, the origin place of boba tea. but the tea itself is good.

I love this location. The baristas are very kind, laid back, and helpful. I always get their classic bubble tea which is delicious. Not quite was they serve in Asia it has a unique Boulder twist(agave instead of copious amounts of sugar). Parking can be a bit difficult when it gets busy, but overall I definitely recommend.

This is an inviting coffee and tea house in a convenient location. I’m more of a coffee drinker than a tea drinker and their coffee tastes good. I like the ambiance and feel comfortable going here by myself. Occasionally I’ll meet up here for business. There is a bike path for walking/exercising just down the street.

Delicious coffee and friendly service. Oh, and gluten free pumpkin bread was super yummy.

Within walking distance of where I work so I frequent here. The staff are friendly though I feel that recently they’ve been going through a lot of staff changes. Either way, the drinks are delicious. I typically get an americano with cream but their teas are good too.

For a variety reasons I find myself in the Steel Yards pretty frequently, and always try to stop in at Pekoe. This café’s been around for ages, but something has changed in the last 6 months that has made the place more inviting and warm. Each and every time I walk in, I observe something that gives me a warm fuzzy — the cashier with an extra kind word for a customer, the barista who noticed that a customer was cold under an a/c vent and then adjusted the temperature, a *sincere* word of thanks when another customer left the shop. Oh…and the coffee and tea are excellent too. My favorite is a house made chai, but their coffee drinks are also good — warm and flavorful without being bitter. And don’t get me started on the baked goods… I try to avoid, but inevitably end up with a buttery scone on my plate… or a warm cookie… or…

The baristas that work at Pekoe are so knowledgeable! They can match a tea to your mood! I learned so much today from why the temperature of the water matters for specific teas to the variables in making a good latte and what makes teas have different levels of caffeine. Ask why they’re called White Ts next time you’re in!

I LOVE Pekoe. So much that I always make a point to stop for a Peace of Mind tea when in Boulder. Unfortunately, the location on 30th does not always follow the hours that are posted on the web as well as on their front door. On multiple occasions I have driven here only to find they closed early. Disappointing. Follow-up: After I posted this comment, the owner of Pekoe responded within hours. He apologized & offered to make it right. As I said to him, I appreciate the way he runs his business, & this type of customer service has earned my respect & loyalty!

I’m rounding this one up to 4stars as I think it’s probably only 3.5 stars but I’m feeling generous today. The coffee here wasn’t quite as good as the one on alpine st, perhaps a little too hot and made without much care. I also really loath the fact it is served in a disposable cup… I notice they have crockery there they just don’t use it. Is this so they don’t have to wash anything? Even when you clearly state it is to have there you still get a disposable cup. This café is also a little worse for wear… not terrible by any means but looks a bit scuffed and could do with an update!

It’s a relatively quiet place to study or work. There is a fair amount of different, unique tea drinks; I like how it isn’t a standard coffee shop because they offer more tea drinks. The only disadvantage was how the bathroom isn’t in the actual coffee shop, which makes me incredibly hesitant to leave my work stuff for just a few minutes. The baristas were helpful and friendly.

Love the variety of drinks here, the natural, organic, and gluten free food options, and customization options for your drink. It’s a laid back atmosphere and prices are just what you’d expect in a college town. Great little spot and will do in a pinch, but the chai here is just ok. Will be back.

This place has god awful fudging terrible coffee. The tea might be ok. They are purely a testament to location and that even a bad business can survive despite itself. It is universally known that all three locations in Boulder are equally bad. It’s no surprise that the near by Viks and Starbucks have longer lines.(I’m not a huge fan of Starbucks either. They can at least give you a consistent cup) But if you are in a hurry for some dirt, head to pekoe. Hey they have free wifi and you are guaranteed an empty table.

Love this place. It’s right next to my apartment and I stop by a few times a week. It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth it. Outdoor patio is nice and so is the staff. They get a bit crazy around 9 due to the crossfitters getting out, but they always get to me soon enough. Will be back(probably tomorrow).

It’s bad that I live just 2 blocks from this place. I have a closer coffee shop but now I’ll be coming to this one more. First off. Boba? Uh yeah! So yummy. Drinking the vanilla toddy now. I had a coupon for one, wanted soy instead of milk. The barista rang that up but didn’t want to charge me for the sub which I would have been okay to pay for but I thought it was sweet she didn’t want to add that. Then they didn’t have enough boba which also didn’t bother me but the other barista gave me a free coupon for another drink! I don’t think I’ve ever written a Unilocal review but when you’re this sweet and you have yummy boba… You’re getting a five star review from me! I’ve also had their coffee and it’s great but you can get coffee anywhere! They don’t have many boba flavor a but I don’t want to go to the hill for boba!

I stopped in here recently while visiting my dentist whose office is in the same neighborhood. I was planning to get my Chai to go, but decided to hang around since the ambiance was inviting and I was not in a hurry :) They have free Wi-Fi and outdoor seating. The baristas(a girl and a guy) were friendly and cheerful. The Chai was pretty good too. I will stop by on my next visit to the area(in 6 months or so :)).

I’ve never been disappointed. I tend not to hang out here for long, usually just a quick in and out when I’m heading down the road, but have on occasions met friends here for a longer visit. These friends are usually from out of town and they all have agreed that the coffee here is superb. A bit pricer than some other coffee houses, but lower than some too. It’s the quick service, and excellent tea or coffee I come for. I don’t go as often as I used to, but I’ve been a fan of Pekoe since they opened on Broadway. Now, they have an online store too, which I hope goes well for them. Amazing coffee, teas, and a smattering of food choices. Some outdoor patio spaces, for enjoying the Colorado sun and scenery. Free Wi-fi, always a bonus. Excellent service. Warm and friendly staff at both locations. Would love to see longer hours at the 30th St. location though.
