Love my color! Caitlyn always makes me look better than before.

Came in with my roommate to do the beauty bundle deal– I had Gianna and she had Caitlyn. They both did amazing and our whole experience was great and we had so much fun! Our hair turned out great– will definitely be coming back (:

I had the best experience with Micah at Studio B in Boulder. I came in to correct a bad color job that had been done at a different salon. Micah did an amazing job. My hair is back to looking healthy and natural (she had to fix the hideous orange color I came in with!)
also, the «10 minutes in heaven» scalp massage is super relaxing And totally with getting!
I already booked my next appointment with Micah!

I was searching for a new salon since I’m new to the Colorado area. I looked mostly on Instagram to stylists who used #boulderhair. When I came across Gianna, her work was gorgeous! I’m thankful I trusted my instincts and selected Studio Be and Gianna. Gianna made me comfortable and my hair turned out great! I’ve definitely found a great, new stylist.

I have been coming here for about 6 months now, which is awesome because I am extremely picky about my hair and usually I don’t last this long at a hair salon. I was just in two days ago and saw Nikki for a hair cut. I was getting a drastic new hair cut because the time before I didn’t really like the cut that I received. I told Nikki that the last time my bangs were cut too heavy and I had asked for very little trimming on my layers and she had then proceeded to add more layers to my hair. nikki listened to what I wanted and executed it very nicely. I could tell she was a bit timid to cut so much hair off, but she did great. The only thing I would suggest for her is to use less product in the hair. She had put in a root booster and a boosting powder which made it so I couldn’t run my hands through my hair. I went home and washed it again.
Also, the front desk girl is amazing and super sweet. I always have a good experience and I send everyone I know here. I will definitely be coming back to see nikki.

My transition to grey/​blue from black was originally going to be 2 sessions and ended up being 3.
The color faded completely out within two days and is sitting at a blonde/​orange with some hint of green that kinda looks like I went swimming in a chlorine pool.
Kelsey was really eager to hear my feedback and set a plan to maintain a regimen, but I’m pretty apathetic about it all at this point.

I went and saw Shayna for a blowout. I will definitely be back. The atmosphere was calm. She didn’t pressure me into buying anything and she was explaining what she was doing. I have gone other places and asked for something easy and fast and they never provide me anything easy or fast but Shayna did. I will be going back!

I absolutely LOVE Gianna! She is such a sweetheart and I love the cut she did on my extensions. She is great at consulting and really asking what I actually want and making it happen! I will definitely be going back to her in the future. I love the product lines they carry as well and they smell great. The feel of the salon is so relaxing and you really feel like you’re in good hands being pampered. By far surpassed my other salon experiences!

It’s ok. I went here for the free service (ad on Facebook) and opted for a blowout since I didn’t need a haircut and color my hair on my own at home. I was quickly talked into getting a keratin treatment — which I’m pretty sure I needed anyway with as dry as my hair is. The stylist was a very good salesperson — she does get props for that. The salon is very modern and there row of chairs just isn’t my preference when it comes to a salon. It wasn’t busy so it’s not like I was crammed into a bunch of people. It may have bugged me if it was crowded. That’s more of a personal preference though.
The wash experience wasn’t as heavenly as it seemed on their website. She did massage my scalp for a couple mins, which was nice.
The one thing I was most put off by is the fact that you have to store your credit card info when using this salon. I was able to talk the receptionist out of giving it for my initial appt (especially since she was pretty obviously reading from a script that just annoyed me that gave 10 reasons for this practice then concluded with «but since your service is free, you wouldn’t be charged 50% if you skip the appt bc there’s nothing to charge»…then insisted I provide a cc number). She said that it may be able to be waived 1 – 2 times but long term they have to store the number. I’m sorry. With as much fraud happening these days, I don’t store my cc number anywhere I can avoid it (so far this includes everywhere except iTunes).
In conclusion, the pushy sales style here is a turn off and I won’t return. I was glad to try it out, even if my free service didn’t end up being just that. I would have been more likely to return if not pushed into the paid treatment, although again I’m not complaining bc my hair needed it anyway and this just sped up when I got it done.

I’ve been trying to find the right salon to go to in Boulder and a friend recommended I try out Studio Be. I am so happy with my haircut that Gianna gave me. She was so great in walking me through everything she was doing and even helped me learn to style my hair. I moved to Colorado from Texas about 3.5 years ago and the climate is so different I’ve been having a hard time trying to style my hair and Gianna was so helpful in explaining different styling techniques and what products work best to get some volume back into my life. I will definitely be going back!
P. S. The shampoos and scalp massages are to die for!

Giana is amazing! I met her at the Fort Collins salon, and was pretty disappointed when I found out she was moving to the Boulder salon. She is worth the drive, however! If you hate getting nonstop compliments on your hair, do not go to Studio Be.

Thank Heaven this amazing place opened in Boulder. Guys, and girls of course… You HaVE to try them out. I’ve been going to their salon in Fort Collins for 7 years. First, Paul Mitchell products are addictive and amazing. They really work to maintain your color and style– keeping my dry Colorado hair healthy. Speaking of color– these professionals are experts. Especially with fun and funky ideas, always up on the latest trends. Now mind you, I’m 44 so I don’t go too nuts, but I always feel amazing when I leave. The beer, wine, soda, coffee offerings are great and the scalp massage is one of the best I’ve had. In Fort Collins I love Darby and Kristin, and now I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Kari and her team. AWESOME!

Fabulous color with Kari. What a way to end to a rough day. The new salon is perfect. Parking is very accessible and close. It appears convenient parking was a consideration for the new location. The
addition of a barber is a great asset for the Boulder salon.

I went here for the first time for a cut and color and LOVED it. I came in with no idea what I wanted and left with a great look. I had Kara and she was so helpful– again, I had no idea what look I wanted but she knew what would look good. Everyone in the salon is so nice and I really enjoyed the separate room for shampooing. Dim lighting, soothing music AND a head massage. I just about passed out. I’d definitely recommend this salon to anyone. Ask for Kara– I was nervous about letting someone new do my hair but she was so nice and really knows her hair.

I went to the Boulder studio and had Haile, who really was fantastic! Even my male roommate said «wow, I like your haircut,» and he wouldn’t notice if I cut off an arm. They are such wonderful, fun, interesting people that work there. I have never been to a place set up with a a separate low-​light room with calming music where they washed your hair and made you VERY relaxed. I know about the place because they were giving free hair cuts, styles and colors to people in the service industry because they understand it isn’t a great paying field and they work really hard. What they were doing was giving information about donating to There With Care
, a wonderful organization that helps families in need when their child has a critical illness. What an amazing salon to do a free service and give donations to a local nonprofit!
