The food is always on point and they have endless vegan options, which is why I will probably continue to frequent this place. They definitely have the best vegan pizza in town. The atmosphere is groovy, and the bathroom is a trip. That said, anyone who regularly orders food over the phone from here knows that it can be quite an ordeal. The food is never ready on time. If you arrive 20 minutes after they say it will be ready, expect to wait another 20 minutes as you have just reminded them to put your order in. They may also forget that you are waiting for your food, and you’ll have to ask them if it’s ready, at which point they’re like «oh yeah!», and you finally receive your cold food.
In summary: Food: A, Service: D. The food is worth the frustration, just never go here if you have to be somewhere anytime soon.

Sun Deli is our favorite place to eat in Boulder. My boyfriend and I are vegan and they are super vegan friendly down to the cookies. They make their own seitan and they have all different types; chicken, pepperoni, sausage. They also make their own vegan cheese but they also have daiya. Best pizza ever, but nothing can top the rolls. We get the pepperoni roll and buffalo chicken roll consistently.

Whoa weak shit on delivery.
So my friend orders me something for my bday. I get a call saying the original purchaser has to be there because it’s the law. Ok no problem, however if the guy hadn’t lost his shit on the phone talking to me after I asked that would’ve been nice. I place a cash order, it’ll take another extra hour to get to my house even with the order being almost the same. Guy shows up with my shit explaining why his friend was right. He gets a tip and is salty it’s not enough. On my birthday. Typical shit boulder service and not to mention I pay $ 33 for cigs and a 30 case to be delivered to my door. You want a tip charge me reasonable prices and I’ll tip reasonably.
Don’t give me your pity spiel or how you’re not paid enough or raise your voice at a customer. Get your shit together.
Not to mention they brought the wrong cigarettes.

They Do deliver the Party! All sorts of quality food, alcohol, snickers and icecream if you want! we had Gluten Free pizza (very tasty thin gf pizza crust btw!), bbq chicken pizza, cesar salad, baked potato, a 12 pack of beer, a 2 ltr of soda and a snickers bar! We had to wait 1 ½ hours but worth it to us! thanks for getting out in the shitty weather so we didnt have to! #youpeoplerock!

Excellent service and our food always comes out really quickly. Parking is very easy and it’s never crowded inside. The prices are excellent and the food is delicious! Lots of really great vegan options. Only wish they were closer to home!

Love love LOVE! They ventured out in a snow storm and were pretty fast, considering the conditions. The delivery guy was super friendly. The pizza rocks, and they’ll deliver beer with it as well. How convenient is that?
I definitely will be ordering from Sun Deli again!

Slow AF. Do not recommend at all. Unless you are high. And unless you brought something to eat while you wait for them to remember your order. And then remember to make it. Dude.

I called for delivery and had a rude college guy smart off with an attitude! Stay away from this place unless you like horrible customer service! Worst staff in Boulder. I hope this place closes soon!

So many affordable vegan options! They aren’t too big on gluten-​free options, but their menu is quite good. Sun Deli is a bit sticky, but it has character. I LOVE the veggie roll (which is sort of a weird, unexplainable, giant alternative to a calzone). Vegetarian chicken caesar wrap is awesome. Eggplant parmesan sandwich is good, too. Definitely try some of the local meads they carry. The breadsticks and garlic bread are good, too. I never eat pickles, but they come with every order, so the only time I eat pickles is at Sun Deli. I wonder if you can get vegan wings?

Great stuff, the only catch is that you’ll likely have to wait from 5 minutes to hours for delivery (the variability is the worst part) and there’s a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ chance you’ll get what you ordered. Just roll with it. Maybe you’ll expand your horizons you whiny self-​entitled square.
Complain about the service if you must, but you’d be hard pressed to find a better place to order a 30 rack of Pabst, pair of spicy cheese steak sandwiches, and pack of Camel’s at 9pm on a Friday night.

Best vegan pizza in Boulder is right here. This place is super chill w/​screens usually playing snowboarding videos. While you wait you can check out cool Rock Encyclopedias. There is also a couch w/​guitars and drums if you are musically inclined. The owner’s dog is usually out and about the restaurant at times.
Best vegan pizza in town. This isn’t a vegan place in fact they do serve meat here, but majority of the menu can be made vegan. In fact they even serve:
The Cardiology Special — Ham, pepperoni, meatballs, bacon, sausage, extra cheese.
That’s pretty funny in an ironic way (this place is hippie though not hipster).
Some of my favorites made vegan:
Mediterranean — (V) Sun-​dried tomatoes, black olives, red onions, feta cheese, mozzarella, red sauce.
Baked Buffalo — (V) Pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions, extra cheese.
Gardenia — (V) Spinach, mushrooms, onions, mozzarella.
Green Machine — (V) Pesto sauce, provolone, mozzarella, spinach, artichokes, bell peppers.
Follow your meal w/​a local Vegan Hemp I Cream sandwich.

It took them an hour and a half to get here and they are only 10 – 15 mins away. The calzone came very burnt and oily. The bottom was tarred black. I got a chicken parm that I wouldn’t feed to my dog. The chicken on the parm was rubber and unedible. They should be ashamed to serve this to people. The tiramisu also came frozen. What a terrible excuse for a restaurant. I’ve been happy with them in the past but they are so inconsistent in the quality of their food.

We were vising Colorado for the first time and were very excited to try Sun Deli.
We were not disappointed! They have a ridiculous amount of Vegan Pizza Options and the pizza was delicious. We ordered two larges and took the left overs back to our hotel. Pizza for breakfast!
They even have vegan ranch which i had never had. The parking was easy and customer service was great. They have guitars on the wall which are free to play on.
Side Note: check out the awesome restroom in the liquor store.
