This place is shit. Kinda cool environment to hangout but the hookahs don’t hit at all. None of them. Horrible quality hookahs. Don’t recommend. Waste of money. You can buy any hookah for the same price and guaranteed it will hit harder.

Seems like a nice place. Though there are a few easy fixes to bring this to a place I could revisit… I know they are cheap given that its Boulder, but, comparing it to hookah bars in near by cities. Such as Algeirs and that bishiops magic café in loveland. The other places have just done beyond fantastic jobs with their ambiance. Floor murals, fountain gardens. HH had some weird joker painting, but not much else. I like to see local artists for sale in these sort of places. Tables were nice, tad dark so really couldn’t say. That said their decore, who really cares. They are better than the LA hookah bars that think they are nightclubs. Really needed some fresh air in the place, see next paragraph. The reason I just had to leave was the employees smoking cigarettes. GROSS. I have only been to one other place that allowed smoking smelly crud like that. They had a 20k air system that would suck it straight out and not bug the rest of us. I know it shouldn’t bug me, but theres a giant difference. I could taste their cigs in my throught for hours after. Guys at algeirs will go out and yell at people(nicely) who are smoking even near their back door, for comparison. Employes were okay. Not super bubbly like Nargle nights or Algeirs, but they got the job done. Ontop with the new coals. Used those grey small ones, instead of quicklights or slow naturals. Some tea in nicer glasses would be cool. Red cups seems awfully wasteful, especially for boulder. Also pretty tacky. I’d probably drive to loveland if I lived in boulder, to be honest. I really hated the cig smoke. Just gave the place a gross feel. Can tell they are trying, but they will be in trouble if a new bar opens in boulder. I’d pay 12 or more for a modern bar easily.

The staff was friendly, but so untrained for the job. Hookah was bad, mixing different flavored for different hookah. Tasted very bad. The place is designed as a get-together for young college kids who are there not for the hookah, but for the idea that hookah is cool. Service was under par and it is small and noisy. Plus full of co2 fumes since they use chemically started coals which are toxic to smoke and even more toxic to light indoors. A huge safety hazard.

Good place to chill, small and not«gangster». Everyone is nice but it is smaller than most.

Love this place. They just finished some serious renovations. New marble tables, brand new chairs, and a new floor plan. Check it out!

It’s a fairly nice place, Always a little bit too crowded though they should look into Expansion if possible. The owners honestly confuse me, Some days they are rays of sunshine and other days they’re almost malicious??? Prices are good and it is a plus that they don’t mined if you bring munches.

This place is a shit hole. Terrible shisha, terrible environment, crappy furniture. The only decent thing about this place is the service. The waiter and the owner were both super nice. However, that can’t make up for the everything else sucking. They place the tables together so close that it’s hard to have any decent conversation in the place without hearing the lamentations of the other customers. The tables and chairs in this place are crap. I took a picture of a seat cushion… it’s horrific. Tried the shisha and after about 15 minutes, it went to crap! Barely able to smoke it as it got harsh very quickly. Save your money and spend a little more time driving to Denver to go to better ones.

This is a very very college-y place. It’s on the second floor of a strip mall, and the atmosphere is marked by plastic red cups and a stuffy frat house feel. The bathroom had no toilet paper. just paper towel. It was a fun environment for the roughly 30 minutes we were there. Some young whippersnapper employee actually worked his magic and rejuvenated the hookah after we thought it was dead. We nearly got into a debate with him on the health effects of smoking hookah. He must have thought that since Boulder hippies do it, that it’s ok, perhaps even good, for your health.

I must caveat this review with the statement that I am in my thirties while this place seems to cater to a college crowd. However I can at least report on the quality. I decided to give this place a shot at around 9PM on a Saturday. It was loud with college students, which I didn’t mind given the neighborhood and day of the week. I sat down and a friendly young guy came and took my order fairly quickly, and not too long after I got my ordered nargila and tea. I am pretty well versed with hookah, nargila, shisha, etc having lived for years in the Middle East. So I know when the equipment isn’t well cared for. There was a very strong mildew taste to mine, so I knew it wasn’t being sanitized correctly. I also got one that doesn’t use the normal disposable tip, which further leads me to question how sanitary this place truly is. Beyond the mildew the flavor was obviously straight out of a jar and not a custom cross-blend like better places use. Even were it not for the loud atmosphere I would still not likely go back because there are better quality hookah bars in town that spend a little less time toking and a bit more time running a quality business, blending quality flavors, and cleaning their gear.

first impression are always crappy so i thought«hey why not go again» Four tries later and this is what i think of this place Dirty(tables, chairs) Staff didn’t even notice me standing there with like four other people. When asked how long do we have to stand there the guy said hold on and walked away never to be seen again. When asked to look at the menu they didn’t give it to me just started to name shi-shia off the top of his head. yeah 6 Bucks does sound nice and all but the taste was straight up NASTY! asked for strawberry and cherry got something that tasted like grape, orange, mint. Told the staff it tasted bad so he tried it and said«no that’s strawberry and cherry»

This place was pretty cool. A bit grungy on the inside, reminded me of a frat house… but the hookah was awesome. Great shisha selection, great service, good music, TV& best of all $ 6 each!

I live in Boulder and I like hookah bars, how could I not have been here before? Like most other hookah places, this is a chill place to get your party on, but not too much. I’ve been here on both weeknights and on the weekend nights. Weeknights primarily consist of a low-key crowd, followed by some of your favorite popular beats. The DJ is just an employee running requests off of Youtube. Most of the clients come from the University, so it’s a very young college feel. On a weekend night, however, you can add thirty more people inside the club, and a hired DJ. Now house beats and dubstep will shake the walls as people take another puff and pump their fists in the air. If you are hungry, most people go down a level and visit Cosmos Pizza; it’s cheap and easy to take back to the hookah place. What this hookah place is really good at is service. All of the workers, every single one of them, is prompt and friendly. Immediately after being seated you are given a water cup and asked for what flavor hookah you want. About two minutes later, comes the hookah. And what if the smoke is coming out too strong? Don’t worry, all of these guys are more then happy to adjust the hookah to your tolerance level. The service also is great because of the workers’ friendliness. They are all very social young adults who are there to make your experience enjoyable.

It is what it is! Cheap good fun where you can spend hours! The music is great, the owner is great and the best part is he calls my friend Tomas, which isnt even close to the guys name, so not only do I get a good time, I get some good ammo to pick on my bud!

Awesome find. We dropped in on Hookah House on Thanksgiving night and they were open(score!). The staff was friendly and recommended a great blend of blue flower and tangerine which was perfect for me since I’m not a huge fan of the super fruity stuff. Atmosphere was chill too with music and movies playing.

The Hookah House is a smoke and college student filled lounge on the Hill. Its a cool atmosphere and a nice idea, I would just rather not spend that much money for my admission into this place. Maybe if it were 3 of 4 dollars to sit around a sticky table and watch the other college kids suck down some smoke while writing their papers, I would be more into it. The menu comes with snacks, drinks, and shesha flavors, which is a cool idea. Their selection of flavors is actually really vast, they have stuff I’d never think of making into a shesha flavor. The artwork in here is actually very very cool, my favorite is the painting of a greek god sitting behind some mountains smoking a hookah. The staff is friendly and funny, and they’re very good about catering to your table. Overall a cool place, just a bit too expensive for what they have to offer.

It’s a great place for people 18+. The crowd is mostly late teens, early 20’s. People are really easy to talk to, and anyone with an outgoing personality will meet tons of cool people. The staff is amazing; I know every person who works there personally, and they all make me laugh constantly. The owner, Bob, will make you smile no matter what and is very dedicated to the business. If you’re planning on going on Friday or Saturday nights, make sure to get there between 9 and 10. After then, seats fill up fast and it will take a while to sit down. Weeknights are really relaxing; normally the regulars are all there and they’re all the most interesting people you’ll ever meet :]
