This was the most bizarre«coffee house» experience I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t actually call it a coffee house at all — it’s a game shop that happens to sell coffee. The coffee drinks themselves were fine but the atmosphere was one of young geeky kids playing board games.

I absolutely love Battle Grounds! All their employee’s are super nice and helpful. I’m in love with their hot chocolate and their steamers. It’s a great place to go especially if you like board games. They have a nice game shop to look around in while you wait for your drinks. Very family friendly.

Would love to recommend this place. They say they open @9 am… But not really. I’ve been there @9 a few times and nobody was around. Pretty lame for those of us that have day jobs, but I don’t think that’s who they care about. So grab your parents money get out of the basement and go around noon… :P

We are so excited to have a new coffee shop in town! Stocked with Café Ibis coffee, and an assortment of teas and snacks, supporting the local business is just our flav. The employees are very friendly, and while the coffee shop is still a little bit rough around the edges(ie the lids are kept behind the counter) there new baristas get better everyday. If you want a cool place to grab some excellent coffee, the Battle Grounds is the place to be!
