Why why why didn’t I think to review Graywhale? Probably because I hate reviewing places like my favorite swimming hole, and my favorite camping spot, so others won’t go there and make it all crowded and stuff. Since Jonathan has let the cat out of the bag, I will join in. No worries Jonathan, about talking about your own store, esp when you explain its your store. Its all true! You’ve got it all right. But Jonathan didn’t review my personal Graywhale, a brand new shiny graywhale in Bountiful, so here comes my five stars. this place is outstanding. I heart graywhale. I’ve been going to the downtown GW for years and tried the one out west, and now i’ve got one just a few mins from home! Actually, I’m in trouble. I KNOW if I enter the door, I will be walking out with an armfull of great cds. Prices are affordable, the used CDs I’ve purchased have been in great shape, and the variety and assortment of choices is actually surprising. Its helpful that you can listen to the cd you’re about to buy, and I really appreciate that they will watch for a cd for you(from all their shops) and let you know if and when it comes in. The staff are extremely helpful and know their music. I’m into celtic and classical as well as a few obscure bands and I end up spending hours in there and always have a goofy smile on my face as I walk out the door juggling jewel boxes. This is a great LOCAL business that’s been ‘doing it right’ for years. Glad to see them grow, to their 7(!) locations now. Fat fins for all.
