Hip & Humble

I like the Hip and Humble in Salt Lake and consistently receive good customer service.
Now, I live in North Salt Lake so I went to this location. I was never greeted, spoken to or acknowledged. There were a few items I wanted to purchase, but decided against it due to the lack of customer service. Please note: there was only one other customer in the store; they were not busy.
Disappointed!

I have visited the Bountiful location of Hip and Humble 3 or 4 times now. I really love the eclectic blend of housewares, cosmetics, jewelry, toys, clothing, bags and purses. Their clothing selection is a similar style to Anthropologie, at about the same price. Ankle biters love the kids play area.
The downside? The staff seems to only be friendly to their most upscale looking clients. I walked in one afternoon to do some Christmas shopping, bundled up in a running jacket and jeans, was completely ignored for 15 minutes while a rather well dressed woman was doted on by two employees. We both purchased things, so I was a bit irritated to be so blatantly overlooked when I actually needed help.
I’ll give this store a couple more tries before giving up, because they carry really unique items that accommodates every price range.
