I have always loved TJ Maxx for shoes and clothes(particularly infant and toddler), including accessories like purses and watches. However, for some time now the selection at this location has become increasingly bad, and the store is never organized. Today was the worst I have ever experienced. Literally empty shoe shelves, about a dozen 2T clothes options and lots of broken items being marked down. I felt sad leaving and feel there is little reason to go back. If you love the family of stores, visit Home Goods and Marshall’s at Station Park for cleaner stores, better selection, and a happier shopping experience.

I have a fondness for TJ Maxx. It’s comforting. Kinda like a bowl of soup on a cold day. I started visiting this location with a friend when I was 12, worked there when I was 16, and have been back many times since. The first draw for me was the shoes, then the clothes, and now that I’m all grown up I adore the selection of inexpensive kitchenware, bedding, furniture and toys for the ankle biters. In fact, I bought the majority of their Xmas presents here. TJ Maxx also sells gourmet food, toys, treats and bedding for your four-legged friend, luggage, books, perfume and cosmetics. Sometimes you have to go in with no expectations, the store can get cluttered, overstocked, and crowded. But do a little treasure hunting and you can find great things at amazing prices. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for clearance items, brand name stuff so cheap it almost feels criminal.
