Auntie Anne’s

VERY disappointed in this place! Went there today for the pretzel cheese bites and a med coke and it was almost $ 8. Start to dig in and when I pulled apart the pretzel, the cheese was hard and not melted! It was sitting under the heating lamp for WHO KNOWS how long so I went to confront the guy. Right away he starts yelling at me because I asked if they have fresh ones made and if I could have a bag of them. He yells that he’s going to give my money back and tells me to go away, meanwhile there’s a few people behind me waiting to order. Still yelling at me as I was turning away I told anyone who could hear me «THEY SELL OLD FOOD HERE!!!» Guy was a jerk and I will NEVER go back there!!!

Let me just say that the owner of this place should sell this joint to someone who cares… mall opens at 10, He gets there right at 10 to start making dough, We were there today at 1130 and still no pretzels !!! Not just today, its all the time… I confronted the man and all he said is i have to wait on the dough to rise, one day i went in there and he was sold out of pretzels and i went up asking him when he would have some, he said when they get done!!! He is slow, Lazy, will not hire people and would rather pass up money to be made to work at his own pace. I cannot tell you the quality of food as he NEVER has them ready.

This mall needs a lot of help (a lot) but Auntie Anne’s is definitely not one of them. Let me state that all Auntie Anne’s are not created equal and this one is one of the best I’ve ever had. My family LOVES Auntie Anne’s pretzels and they are always great here. They make small batches (but I rarely have to wait for one) and the must throw them away at a certain point because I have never, ever had one there that wasn’t fresh. That means a lot because honestly, it’s pricey. About $ 12 for two pretzels, a couple dips and a drink.
The employees are the same every time I’m there (I’m guessing family operated) and they are very nice, without being fakey fake smile in your face but I really could care less about you, retail workers.
I have never had an order messed up and it’s something that I’m glad to have close to home. I hope the mall gets the help it so desperately needs because I think I would literally cry if this place went away.
