I had the Thai shrimp fried rice. And it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. The shrimp wasn’t properly cooked, and it seemed like I was eating rice and soy sauce; no other seasoning

The food here is great but really pricy. $ 20 for a large fried rice the size of a large takeout fried rice.

Asian fusion. Well… I ordered the Yin Yang wings. One set tasted like burned sweet soy garlic sauce. The other set of wings tasted like outdated seasoning, flavorless old bay wings. The crispy spring rolls were okay. Nothing to write home to mom about. And, the crab rangoon. I’m still confused by the Crab Rangoon. Who puts cheddar cheese on crab Rangoon? And why? When this dish arrived, I just stared at it for a good long while. My suggestion, skip the crab rangoon or order it sans cheddar cheese. The drinks were good, bourbon and ginger. No complaints there. In fact, bartender, I need another round. All in all, order drinks. Get your food from the Panera next door.

Usually, I don’t feel compelled to share my dining experience unless it was particularly good or particularly bad. In this case, and I am very sad to say, my dining experience was not all that special. I ordered the General Tso’s chicken, my favorite, with brown rice and a side of Graces’ chicken wings(yes I eat a lot). Now, I don’t mind waiting for forever and a day for food as long as when the food arrives, it’s piping hot or cold respectively. This dish, which I’m sure is meant to be served hot, wasn’t nearly as hot as I would’ve liked. Plus I had to wait for over 40 minutes. The pieces of chicken were flat and heavily breaded. I’m not the type that swears by all white meat however, I do believe that there should be more chicken than breading. The General Tso sauce was overly sweet and not spicy at all which are two hallmarks of the dish in my opinion. The broccoli that accompanied my chicken was over-cooked to the point of sogginess… not pleased at all. On the positive side, my brown rice was fluffy and the chicken wings were hot at least. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was electric. Unfortunately, my main reason for being there was not a success.

Grace’s has become my regular Sunday haunt. Great food, seven days a week HH and a patio for an occasional cigar what else does one need. I often stick to the HH ½ price specials but I’ve eaten the dinner entrees and have been just as satisfied. The staff is always friendly although the patio service can be spotty at times.

I return to Grace’s for the sushi. It’s sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good! Seriously, I go in, eat sushi and leave. It’s just that good. The ambiance is nice and if you are looking for a lively environment it has that. However, I don’t’ care. I’m there for the sushi!

Been here maybe six times, so far so good! Good food and good service! Love the hot towels to wipe your hands with. I would kinda compare it to PF Changs… dare I say maybe better than PF Changs. Can’t really comment on their Sushi, I haven’t tried it yet.

I’m mad it has taken so long for me to visit! Great ambience, awesome service and our food was tasty. We had a couple of small plates(Grace’s salt and pepper ribs, veggie spring rolls) and big plates(whole fish and tofu) and a mango martini. I highly recommend all of them. Well prepared and flavorful. This place ain’t cheap so if you’re on a budget, you can definitely make a meal out of the small plates. I like the fact that I can see myself there for a quiet, romantic meal as was the case on this visit. Or I could come with a group and watch the game or do happy hour. PG County needs more spots like this. They seem to have some great happy hour deals. I will definitely be back to try their hibatichi and sushi.

The sushi is not that great, but the hibachi is pretty good! The drinks are strong and the customer service is always good.

I used to go to the Grace’s when it was farther up Rt 450 in Bowie. They opened this place up awhile back and I understand they closed the one«uptown». This is a great place. Nice atmosphere and lots of variety from a traditional menu to sushi to teppanyaki and more. During nice weather they even have an outdoor cigar bar which seems to be extremely popular. The service is great. Very attentive, friendly and quick. The food is excellent. I had the General Tso’s Chicken which sounds pretty typical except that I was asked if I wanted dark or white meat. That’s never happened to me before. When it came out, it was delicious. The only downside is that some of the patrons can be a little boisterous and noisy. I kinda like a quieter place but at least people were having a good time and it seems to be a meeting place for people. It also has a secluded«meeting» room with a large monitor for business meeting or private parties. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for their variety of food, quality and general ambiance.

I have been coming to Grace’s for years and this has to be one of my favorite spots for happy hour. The happy hour is half price small plates, cocktails and several other items. The restaurant is clean and well decorated. I love coming here because of the crowd, food and customer service. The small plates menu is very good. I personally love the Grace’s wings, lamb chops and fish nuggets. The crowd is mature during happy hour but the restaurant itself is good for large groups and is child friendly. The location is not far from the beltway and is not hard to find. There is always parking even if the place is packed. I highly recommend this spot if you want a nice ambiance and good company.

Once again, I’ve apparently been living under a rock. I have passed Grace’s zillions of times and never had an interest in stopping in. During the summer months, if I go to the Panera next door, I’m usually blasted out with the stench of cigar smoke coming from the outside of Grace’s. Since I don’t smoke, that was a major turn off to me and that’s the main reason I’ve never been. Plus, I was never interested in trying sushi. Well, I was tossed outside my box and it was suggested by a few friends that we meet here for happy hour and for me to try some sushi! I’ve truly been missing out because this place is gorgeous on the inside. I was a fan of the original Grace’s Fortune in Bowie, on Annapolis Road before they closed. I have even enjoyed the Grace’s at National Harbor, but I had no clue this location was so gorgeous. I’m a huge fan of Asian décor and the décor throughout the restaurant was so chic and stylish. A designer’s dream! The ambiance of Grace’s is classy and very tasteful. The bar is like a little lounge area, with couches, bar stools and a high table with chairs. The service was really good and the staff was very accommodating. With happy hour specials that include ½ price small plates and ½ price sushi and drink specials, it’s really worth stopping in and trying. Just remember that HH is Mon-Fri from 3 – 6 pm. I was eased into eating sushi by ordering something that I knew wasn’t too over the top for my taste buds. I ordered the avocado and shiitake mushroom sushi rolls. They were actually really very tasty. I think I had the misconception that all sushi contained raw fish/raw seafood. Who knew? Well, apparently a lot of people knew, because I’ve seen how popular sushi is among my Unilocal friends. What can I say, I’m a late bloomer. Needless to say, I am now a fan of SUSHI!!! Plus, since this restaurant is close to where I reside, I can stop by more often to partake in a few other options for sushi. Heck, I may even be back today! LOL! Shout Out to the homies(AB, JH&SH) for opening my eyes to SUSHI!!! No matter what anyone else says, you guys are worth something in my book! PS, let’s go back really soon! LOL! SUSHI4LIFE!

I’m not sure what all the rave is about. I’ve eaten here a couple of times and the food is good but not great. I usually get sushi and honestly, I find Grace’s to be one of the priciest and not one of the best in the area. I’ve gone a couple of times because I figured I must have been missing something because of all the rave reviews I hear-so I’ve tried it again-and again-but still-just OK. I’ve had more beautifully crafted and tastier sushi in Bowie, DC, and Gambrills. Maybe it’s me. Not amazing-but average.

This review update is LONG overdue. I frequent two restaurants, Olde Towne Inne and my Asian Cuisine equivalent which I refer to as «My Cheers», Grace’s. Strip malls or whatever you want to call them do come in handy. Many times you stumble onto some pretty cool spots, Grace’s is one of those spots. It’s nestled between Panara Bread and Shoppers Food Warehouse but don’t let that deter you because this is some GOODEATIN! The sushi here is top notch and is the main reason why I come but they offer SOOOOO much more. Their«small plates» includes such items like calamari, Asian wings, fried jumbo shrimp cocktail, Asian spareribs, lamb chops, cat fish nuggets just to name a few. The absolute beauty about Grace’s is that their small plates are half price during happy hour and their happy hour is 7 days a week! They also offer traditional Asian dishes along with Hibachi which is always a fun time watching your food being prepared in front of your very own eyes. Their lunch specials as exceptional as well! Grace’s is deceivingly big. They have a party room that can easily host most large events such as bridal showers, birthdays or a company holiday party. They also offer outdoor seating where you can smoke a stogie or two. If you forgot yours at home guess what, they have a pretty nice selection of cigars you can purchase! I usually hang out in the bar/lounge area where they serve the full menu. My favorite bartenders are Drew and Laura who embarrassingly know what I’m eating and drinking before I even order it. smh! So come to Grace’s if you truly love Asian Cuisine and you like a bargain. Not too mention, you’ll never have parking issues like big bad DC… I did say it was in a strip mall. Lol

I’ve finally made it to Grace’s thanks to my Unilocal buddy Spencer. I’ve been here for lunch here twice now and I’m in love with their«Lunch Box A» special. The lunch box deal has so many tasty items on it, that I needed a box to take home my leftovers with me. There was honey fried chicken, California sushi roll, rice, teriyaki salmon, and chicken on top of an Asian slaw. Everything was delicious, and I’m not sure why I’ve never stopped in here before. I’ll definitely be back during dinner to see what other delicious items I can try off of the menu.

I decent place but way over priced. Met a friend for sushi and sake. It’s one of the few places in bowie. The place looks great. Nice and modern plus everything is very clean. No wait to be seated which was a plus. Ordered gyzo dumplings as a app, a philly roll, crunch roll, tempura roll, and heart of bowie roll. All pretty good except the heart of Bowie roll. It taste just like a salmon roll but they make it into the shape of a cute little heart and charge you twice as much for it. It’s very awkward to eat because each of the heart half is a separate piece and they fall apart easily. The service was absolutely awful they last a star in that area from me. I had to pretty much track down my waitress anytime I needed to place an order or have my drink refilled. The price is on the high end so you would expect better service. Dinner and drinks for 2 came up to about $ 120.00 so keep that in mind before you stop by.

I would like to say first before I go in. «The hot towel was great» I came here for my birthday and we ordered Soup, calamari, Sushi, General Tso’s and pad tai. The Sushi was the worst I’ve ever eaten. The fish was not fresh and the cooked ones were burned. We even had a California roll and it was bad! How you mess up a California roll?

Ok here’s the deal. I don’t go to graces for the tepanyaki or thai or some other Asian fusion. Crazy right. All of those things are good, but I go right for the bar for what else… bar food!. During happy hour, the small plates are ½ off and the drinks specials vary depending on the day. The fried calamari is always delish mixed with fried jalepeno and sweet bell peppers. The wings are always good too. Honestly all the bar food is tasty, but the most overlooked item on the small plate menu is the crabcake. Yep. I said crabcake. No it’s not a Jerry’s seafood crab cake but you will not be disappointed… it’s always a go to dish for me. The downside… crowd is a bit older and the smell of the cigars outside have made it’s way inside.

9÷21÷13 Asian Fusion… let’s GO! So a friend of mine was having a surprise birthday party for her husband her. My sister and I went down to be a part of the festivities. It’s located in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking available. When we arrived the hostess took us to the designated reserved room in the back for the dinner party. The space is a huge room with the huge round table. Gorgeously decorated. We were able to get drink as we waited for the guest of honor. Once he arrived we all piled into the room and when he entered we gave him a great surprise. He was very shocked. My sister and I decided to seat in the other area since there were so many of us outside of the room. It was nice booth for 4. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and it was so yum. It hard to get this dish right for me and they did it right. Will definitely check this place out again when I am in the area again.

Panang veggies. Short Ribs. Spare Ribs with a special asian sauce. Yes. Yes. and more YES! Whenever we go to Grace’s, we just get a spread of the small plates and go to town. Sure, it can add up, but each bite makes it worth every penny. I hadn’t been to Grace’s in sometime, but when the feeling hits you, it hits hard. We went there Friday night for date night and had a blast. Great food and convo and a great setting. It can get a bit loud on a Friday night, but it’s a fun, festive atmosphere and everyone is always in a good mood. The food comes out pretty quickly and the staff works to make sure you are taken care of, even offering hot towels for you to wash your hands immediately upon sitting down. I wish they would put a little less Brut or whatever manly man cologne they scent their towels with, but it’s a small complaint, so no big deal. All in all, Grace’s is a solid place for a group of friends for Happy Hour(half price appetizers until 8 I believe) or dinner or date night with your significant other. If you haven’t been there, try it! :)
