This is the good Jed’s in the area. I spend sundays in BG, and I like this location a lot. Their chicken balls are excellent, and my friends and I are big fans of the«Spudsters» on the appetizer menu. They’re little Mashed potato bites deep fried and served with sour cream or butter. They are super good. Hoping they never leave the menu.

Good wings & fireballs! Get the ranch with them… yum! I do not like dining in here because it is too noisy. The few times we did, the service was not the best.

Appetizers were luke warm. Fish sandwich was over cooked Assuming same deep fryer used needs grease changed. Food at this location not same caliber nor quantities as original locations.

Best wings in BG! Balls are good too. Service can be a little slow sometimes but overall great!

Overall decent. The pizza is basically ‘Great Value’(Walmart brand) but overpriced and undercooked. Burgers are good and pulled pork is great. Beer is cold which is good.

This place is just bad. I had a terrible meal. We had wings, appetizers, and burgers. Nothing was that great. I was told they used to have really good fried chicken off menu on Sundays, but they don’t do that anymore. If they bring that back, maybe I’ll try again.

Sunday night quick dinner with family. Staff friendly, food selection pretty good(pub fare and more), plan to try their«fireballs» next time. On tap beer selection just standard American ales. College town kind of pub.

Jed’s is still one of my favorite spots for food at BGSU. My favorite is the freak balls(coleslaw, fries, cheese) with zesty garlic and a side of there special ranch. They are always cooked perfectly and the chicken isn’t dried out. Perfect amount of breading too. The ranch dressing is the best I’ve ever had. They have many different kinds of balls and they are pricey but if you go on Friday the freak balls are on sale. I have also had the spinach pizza, a few different burgers, and the regular wings. I’ve never had a bad meal here!

I really can’t stand this place. The food is your general sports bar quality. Beer list is general sports bar quality too. It’s like a more local, less annoying Buffalo Wild Wings. There are a couple of locations scattered around NW Ohio.

Wait, just four reviews for this place? I found Jed’s by accident a year ago, wandering around Main Street looking for a place to eat, when a waitress flagged me down and said«you want to eat here, trust me.» This turned out to be great advice, and on a return trip to Bowling Green, Jed’s was my first stop. FIREBALLS Jed’s claim to fame is the«world famous» plate of Fireballs – skinless, boneless, chicken tender chunks which are flash fried and tossed with any one of a number of homemade sauces, plus other assorted toppings piled on. We ordered the Freak Balls, your basic plate of fireballs tossed in honey bbq sauce, then topped with cole slaw, french fries and cheese. Yum. There are other options, with toppings like homemade chili, or the bacon double cheese balls with you guessed it – lots of bacon and cheese. The beer list isn’t outstanding – lots of Bud and Miller products, with one bright and shining exception– an ice cold Yuengling Lager! On my two visits, service was fast and friendly. Any trip to Bowling Green means a stop at Jed’s for me.

Mmmm, I love eating at Jeds! It’s not healthy by any means, but so delicious! I love the spudsters, they are deep fried mashed potato chunks that you dip in sour cream or ranch… mmm! Also the fried pickles are surprisingly good! Mostly sandwiches on the menu, they have good Chili and their claim to fame is the«Chicken Balls» which is litterally just pieces of chicken tossed in whatever sauce you choose. Fun place for a group, but not fancy by any means. Quick service, and really nice servers.

Jed’s is one of my favorite places in BG for delicious alcoholic drinkies, and quality bar-type food. Their menu is pretty expansive — burgers, sandwiches, pastas, fried delicious goodies… whatever artery-clogging food you’re in the mood for, it’s a good bet that Jed’s probably has it. They are famous for their«Fireballs», which are basically little breaded, fried pieces of white meat chicken tossed in whatever flavor sauce you want, topped with different combinations of toppings. I like the Cajun Fireballs, which are topped with provolone cheese and cajun spices, mmmmm! Another good recommendation for a starter is their Spicy Chicken Queso Dip… man is that stuff good — and they give you enough for a big table, so it’s perfect to share. Their main dining room has lots of TVs for sports watching, though they are kinda small and positioned in places that aren’t easily viewed from all the tables. The bar area(which is separate from the dining area) has much bigger TVs. Service is hit or miss — sometimes it’s awesome, other times we wait forever for our food. Oh, and on the way out, you can grab little candy root beer barrels. Yes!
