Awesome food, great service. Best restaurant in Bowling Green! I definitely recommend the fried cauliflower for an appetizer, but the menu has something for everyone.

This place is great! So happy to see a restaurant finally open in BG that serves a wide variety of tasty meat AND non-meat entrees! Hands down my favorite vegetarian-friendly restaurant in the city. I recommend the Fried Green Tomatoes as an appetizer! Awesome flatbreads and pasta dishes as well. It’s ambiance is nice enough for a fancy date, yet casual enough for those nights when you just don’t feel like cooking/changing out of the blue jeans. My bills tend to be a smidge on the pricier side, but it’s definitely quality which I’m alright paying for. If you haven’t been yet, you gotta try it at least once!

First visit but very impressed by extensive, interesting menu and excellent service. We’ll be back to try the other entrees and appetizers.

AMAZING food. From deep-fried cauliflower appetizer, to chicken fettuccine alfredo that was black peppered, eggplant caprese entrée with prosciutto wrapped asparagus everything was phenomenal!!! Service was top notch! I posted pics! We WILL be back!

I probably wouldn’t have reviewed this place if they weren’t getting such rave reviews from family and friends. I’ve tried it three times. The first time because it was a new place, the second because I believe in second chances, and the third because I’m a fool. The three people I’ve dined with here agree: the food is bland to bad and you could easily do better spending a few minutes making something at home. One of our orders was a pasta dish that tasted like somebody added a frozen bag of vegetables to some Prego. And were those hard, inedible things parts of mushrooms? Talk about unappetizing. Sure, you can get a warm meal. And you can get something slightly different than most of the other poor options in Bowling Green. But I’ll just pay a little more and go to Naslada.

I have not eaten in the restaurant, but have ordered food to go a couple times and it’s amazing. They are right on time, food was hot. When calling, I was surprised that they asked when I would like the food to be ready! It provides a more flexible schedule for pick up. Although never having eaten in the bistro, the inside appeared nice and clean, and the staff was very nice! Their sweet potato fries are to die for

I ate at Sunset Bistro for the first time today, and I’m bummed out that I didn’t eat there sooner because it is freakin’ amazing! They have so many vegetarian options, I could eat here every week without running out of things to try. The atmosphere is great, I loved the lighting and the purple walls, and the music they had on was awesome. I can’t wait to bring everyone I know here — there is something for everyone on the menu, they even have a lot of gluten free options! The staff was also excellent — if you haven’t eaten here yet, you’re missing out.

Another great entrée tonight! Lemon Pepper Pasta with Shrimp… fresh flavors and fresh bread served still warm! The Vanilla Java Porter was nice addition to the meal. Thanks Prudy!

Excellent food! I recommend starting with some fried cauliflower. I have tried both the quinoa burger and eggplant parmigiana, both tremendous. Great spot for dinner in BG! Tons of options for the Vegan, Vegetarian and meat lover. Unique menu!

Was looking for great food and great service after a round of golf at Stone Ridge with friends. Got both here! I had the chicken flatbread with carmelized onions and balsamic — yum! Friends had the caprese skewers, the salmon flatbread, the layered quinoa salad, and the holiday surprise sandwich(which came with REAL turkey). All got rave reviews. Can’t wait to try this place for dinner. Pleasant modern ambiance, and very nice and helpful server. A definite 5 stars!

I went to Sunset Bistro for the first time last Sunday evening with a couple of my «foodie» relatives. We had a wonderful meal and each found something on the menu that appealed to us. I need gluten free and they were completely knowledgeable and had many selections. The atmosphere is very nice. Classy and warm but not pretentious. The server was gracious and attentive, and the owner came by and talked with us. She even brought out a sample of a soup I was interested in. This place is a wonderful addition to the west side of BG, I hope everyone gives it a try, I predict they will love it!

Lots of unique selections and new takes on old favorites. Not your usual pre-made, frozen food. Well worth the try.

At last a good restaurant on the West side of town! The partially activated menu consists of an imaginative, and very different Flatbreads!, appetizers, salads and sandwiches. Fried cauliflower, apple/Brie and caramelized onion sandwich for example. The orange and purple décor and sunny art work gives a cozy atmosphere. Can’t wait to try more items as the menu expands. They have been open only since April and are off to a great start.

Visited the brand new Sunset Bistro, right near Stimmel’s Market and Movementality Yoga Studio on the edge of Bowling Green, OH, Beautiful ambience, crystal and table cloth with reasonable prices, amazing food and capable, efficient servers. There is a large menu, including vegetarian and vegan offerings. I had the«Full Pull» burger(BG is the home of the National Tractor Pull event) with homemade fries – delicious. My friend, a vegetarian, had the quinoa burger, which she raved about and a slaw she said was out of this world.

My girlfriend and I were passing by when we saw this new place, so we decided to give it a try. At the time, the staff told us they were still in the process of rolling out the full menu, so we were limited to appetizers and sandwiches, which was fine for a casual lunch. We started with an order of hummus, which I thought was a little bland but not bad, then she got the portobello sandwich and I got a sweet and savory sandwich called the Monte Cristo. Both were very good, and the rest of the not-yet-available menu had some other interesting stuff on it that we hope to try out in the future. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, and the ambiance and location are perfect for the type of restaurant they are going for. We plan to go back once the full menu is up, and I will update my review once we do.

Being a vegetarian I was really happy to see so many options! The menu caters to everyone, lots of unique items and familiar favorites. We had a little of everything and we’re not disappointed! The atmosphere is calm and inviting, the music was fantastic, and the staff was all smiles! There is plenty of parking in a spacious lot, no steps and handicap friendly. There are TVS, but they are just at the bar so it isn’t overwhelming. It has a feel of a comfy dining room at a friends house, low lighting but not dark at all. We found ourselves very comfortable and VERY full with the generous portions and casual yet classy setting. I am happy to have Sunset Bistro in Bowling Green and am excited to see it take off! Cheers!
