I’d say Two Foxes is 5 stars as a bar, but more like 4 as a restaurant, though I’m going with 5 because the staff are great and overall I always enjoy myself. As a place to eat, Two Foxes is best if you are in the mood for burgers. There are a lot of places offerings good burgers in BG, but even among those, Two Foxes stands out. They have some interesting concepts, like the Foghat, which is a farm burger topped with a maple glaze, and no matter what you go for, the burgers are always expertly cooked and never dry. Your side of fries comes with Two Foxes’ tasty house-made ketchup, which has just a hint of spiciness to it. Despite now having been open for a while, Two Foxes has yet to figure out the non-burger parts of the menu. Appetizers have been underwhelming(and sometimes they don’t even have the ones listed, as that section of the menu seems to be in constant flux), and the non-burger entrée offerings are limited and not particularly exciting(one exception is the fishy fry, which is quite good). As a bar, Two Foxes is one of my favorite places in BG to go for a drink. The environment is quieter and the place caters to a more mature crowd. Two Foxes is one of the best bars in BG when it comes to rotating their taps, and they also have a solid selection of bottles. They bill themselves as a bourbon bar, and while I’m not a huge bourbon person, the one time I did order a bourbon flight, the bartender was knowledgeable and I enjoyed the experience. And in general, the staff are relaxed and friendly. I do hope that Two Foxes is able to sort out the rest of their menu at some point, but nonetheless it remains one of my favorite hangouts in BG. I recommend stopping by if you want a good burger or are looking for a nice place to have a drink.

So I find this place hard to review. Because the food was not bad, it was not great but if I was just judging the food I would go back. There’s not much on the menu so if your not in the mood for a burger this is not the place for you. The service was good considering the bartender was taking care of all six tables himself. We found the atmosphere strange. Very dark and just blah. A big cold empty room. We were there on a Thursday which is live music night and thankfully they started that late because I’m not sure we would have been able to sit through that(not good at all). We gave it 3 stars because the burgers are good.

One of the best undiscovered places in BG! If you want a good burger, look no further than two foxes! I’ve been here four times and have gotten something different each time and nothing has been bad. The sauces are all home made and the fries are delicious. It’s a quiet place with good drinks and even better food!

Have eaten here several times and enjoyed the food. Having second thoughts on going back due excessive price of a double Jamison’s on the rocks. $ 13.00 is way out of the norm, especially for BG.

Stopped in for a burger and drink and ended up with the Salmon Tacos and Peanut Butter Piggy! Fresh avacado on the tacos with zesty rub on the salmon! Excellent burger, as always. My partner ordered an off-the-menu mediterranean chicken sandwich topped with feta, kalamata olives and onion. Delish! Thanks for excellent service Adrian!

Stopped in on a Saturday for lunch when school was out of session. One other table was occupied. Could be because no one knows the place is open. No sign outside and some worn off Italian name in the awning. Nonetheless, I had the Foghorn burger, included a fried egg, bacon and mayo. It was really, really good. Came with fries that were like fresh cut, but shoestring in size. They were good, but not overly hot. Wife had a special, a fried avocado taco. Basically, a big chunk of avocado, breaded and deep fried. She really liked it. The also have an appetizer called the Nippy Dip. The server couldn’t tell us what kind of dip it was, and when she asked, simply came back and said they were out. Also, 6 beers on tap, but not impressed with selection. Bottled beers were good. Pandora playing on the stereo.

Burgers are creative but the burger itself isn’t good. The fries are ok and the beer selection is fine. They seem to still be getting their feet on the ground and they opened in October 2014…

Just not impressed at all. Service was slow, food was not well prepared and incredibly greasy. The burgers that we had were nearly impossible to eat due to the grease. Sauces and dressing were bland and near flavorless. The fries were the best part of the meal but there were just not enough of them. I think they have potential but it would take a lot to overhaul and retool the restaurant. Great idea but poor execution.

What a great place for a very unique menu of burgers. But they are amazing burgers. They also have a solid selection of beers, wine and craft cocktails. You can tell they’re starting as a pretty lean shop, but adding unique character to their restaurant slowly. Definitely will come back again!

The Prometheus chicken sandwich hurt so good. Really brought the burn and great taste. Loved it. While I was at it I had two hot pepper themed drinks — a New Belgium Mole beer and then a martini that was chocolate and spicy hot — both excellent.

Gastropub this is not! Poorly and quickly decorated, inexperienced wait staff that didn’t offer a beer or wine list, nor asked for drink orders at seating. The child’s «monkey burger» was literally the size of a half dollar and the cheese on the grilled cheese was cold, though the bread was burned. We felt rushed and poorly served. Very disappointing based on the website and other Unilocal reviews.

I love this restaurant. The food is outstanding, the service is great and there is a varied beer selection as well. The Moscow mule is a must-try as well

So. Good. I ordered the Yankee Crunch… and it was amazing! I haven’t ordered a burger in a restaurant for 22 years… this was definitely worth the wait! Go to this place. Run! Do not walk!

I don’t think enough people know about this place! The beer selection and specials are great and the bourbon selection is second to none in BG. Had the Yankee Crunch with a chicken breast and it was amazing! Chicken was juicy, pretzel bun was soft, everything worked together perfectly! Portions were great and I can’t wait to go back and try the Piggy Burger! Seek this place out, you won’t regret it!

The burger quality is similar to Five Guys! However there’s not a large variety selection of food to choose from.

I’m really stuck between 3 and 4 stars. The Fresh Spinach Salmon Salad was amazing. I would give that 5* The Luau Bacon Burger on a Pretzel bun was great. That would be 4 or 5 *. The service was attentive and the atmosphere friendly. The coffee however was terrible. It tasted chalky and old. The waitress said it was a fresh pot but she thinks she made it too strong. The shoestring fries were ok but over salted. A little salt enhances flavor. Too much salt ruins them. The coffee was taken off the bill. All in all, I’m going with a 4* because of the great food. Think I will visit Grounds across the street for my coffee. Ok. Return visit and NOCOFFEE. «Someone forgot to order.» Again, went to Grounds but The Foxes need to solve their coffee issues.

We dined here for the first time last evening. What a great addition to BG! Their menu is simple: a variety of burgers and either shoestring fries or an up charge of 3.00 for sweet potato fries. I had the Peanut butter piggie(or something along those lines) and the sweet potato fries; hubby had fried egg burger and their regular fries. All were superb. I must say that they should charge 1.00 or so more and increase the serving size of the regular shoestring fries. Hubby had a beer with dinner, I had a lovely peach cocktail. Ambience is nice; they aren’t trying so hard to make it so hip and trendy; they do that with the food! Lots of families with kids here. Will return with our kids. They were hopping last night and the two waitresses were both busting their tails getting everybody their items. Very friendly waitress.

I find myself lacking criticism when I think of eating here, which makes a little concerned I might be losing my critical eye. While it’s possible, I think my intuition is correct in this 5-star rating. It’s the first establishment I’ve encountered that does bourbon flights. I’m sure other restaurants in the country have been doing them for a while, and I think even Social in Perrysburg does them too. However, this is the first time I’ve set foot in a pub that did. That’s all I’m saying. For me, the idea is outstanding. Bourbon has been my drink of choice for a decade. The thought of trying out several at one time is attractive. $ 10 bought me a flight of three, and I got to choose which three. That’s very helpful. Their menu is standard pub food: burgers, fries, ribs, that sort of thing. What they do, however, is try to prepare them in more unusual ways. For example, take the Peanut Butter Piggy(bacon and peanut butter sauce) or the Yankee Crunch(potato chips with French onion dip). They are trying to invent new burgers. Isn’t that worth checking out? I think so. That’s my style. I settled on a basic burger(it was on special for $ 6), as I’m sure I’ll be checking this place out again soon. The burger was juicy, and the pretzel roll made for a great addition to the burger. Their house fries are what I’d consider straw fries, and much to my surprise they doctor the ketchup with a few ingredients to make it spicy. It was subtle, but fun to figure out. For $ 16, I was entertained with bourbon and beef. On a Monday night, I couldn’t have asked for more.

Delicious burgers, especially for a very new restaurant. I tried the special prime rib burger — it was cooked perfectly and the prime rib, bleu cheese and onion made it really interesting. We also had their standard cheeseburger on a pretzel bun, side salads and sweet potato fries. All were very good. Our server was excellent, food was delivered promptly and drinks kept full. The beer list is solid, not great(Dogfish Head 61 Minute, Jackie O’s Mystic Mamma, Old Rasputin, etc. — bringing in some selections from Founders, Bell’s or 3 Floyds would be great). We love the potential and will definitely return. Next time, we’d like to try a chicken or vegetarian option, but it will be hard to skip the burgers.

Ate at Three Foxes a couple nights ago with a friend… Excellent and friendly service. Offerings are hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, vegetarian«burgers», salads, and both sweet potato and fresh cut fries, and a wide variety of beer. I had the classic hamburger with my choice of cheese on a pretzel type bun with fresh cut fries. The hamburger was excellent, well cooked and prepared. the fires were limp and not very good. My friend had the sweet potato fries which looked crisp. Prices were reasonable. As I don’t drink, my bill with tip was less than $ 10.
