Saw this place on 355 and wanted to try it. Wish I hadn’t. I paid a lot of money for so little food. I Should have known better when my order for 2 was in a kids size lunch bag. The sides are so small, they are in sauce containers. Really? Is rice so expensive? The brisket was reheated not freshly made today. If I want leftovers I will eat them out of my own refrigerator. Disappointed and I won’t be back.

This was not good BBQ and the sides were worse. Took 15 minutes to get my order and only one other person was there. Big language barrier ordering(hint English is not their first one). The meat was lacking in flavor and the sauce tasted of cinnamon. The rice(yes rice was a BBQ side dish) was stale. Will not be returning and I recommend against you from doing the same.

Happened to see this food truck as I was heading down 355 and had to stop in to give it a try. I had the pulled pork sandwich and pulled Angus beef sandwich. Both of the sandwiches were delicious. Both meats were lean, moist and tender. To the other reviewers point, the smoke flavor is more subtle than some other BBQ but that is more of a personal preference and certainly doesn’t take anything away from Porky’s. They give you chips with you sandwich and it would be nice if they gave those of us who don’t eat chips, the option of getting slaw on our sandwich instead. Also, as of 7⁄11 they told me they weren’t serving breakfast yet but I’m anxious to try their pulled pork, egg and cheese sandwich! After many years in the South, I definitely know my BBQ and what to look for in a good place and Porky’s makes my grade!

The lunch special is $ 7 for a sandwich and a side. Not a bad deal. I had the pork and it was delicious. I liked the chipotle mayo they put on the bun. It mixed nicely with the meat. I was not a fan of the sauce. I was told there was only one sauce, a Texas bbq sauce. It tasted like ketchup. I’m a big fan of BBQ joints that offer multiple sauce options.

This is pretty average BBQ. It is moist, but doesn’t have much flavor otherwise.(No discernible smoke or spice). I tried the pork and the pulled angus beef. Meats are served with sauce on the side, which I like. It’s nicer when places don’t bathe the meats in sauce. A bit of a language barrier ordering, but friendly service. It’s fresh made food and the price is right. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but don’t be afraid of trying it. They say the meats are smoked for 18 hours. I was there Friday afternoon and there wasn’t any smoking going on for the weekend, which I found odd. So, in summary. Good food. Friendly. Seems like a clean cart. Why 2 stars? Because«meh, I’ve experienced better.» If you are going to call it BBQ, there’s a lot of good BBQ out there. This is a good value. This is good food. This is not epic BBQ.

The most incredible pulled Bar-b-Q sandwiches ever made! I think they may put crack in them. Super addicting! Really good coleslaw and dirty rice! I think i could eat a gallon of the dirty rice on my own in one sitting. So good! Potato salad was okay in my opinion becAuse it is made with a lot of dill and im not a huge fan of dill. But i highly recommend you try Porky’s!

Eat meat here! Ok, it’s a food truck permanently parked in the parking lot of that old restaurant that’s been unoccupied for forever(just south of the old Cider Barrel). If enough of us eat here, maybe she can raze that old shell of a restaurant and build a new one. Anyway, the meat is wonderful! The smoker is right on the end of the truck. She serves from 10a-7pm and is cash-only right now. She has breakfast sandwiches, eggs and cheese with various meats and coffee. Then she has the 1/3lb smoked meat sandwiches, pulled pork $ 6, Angus beef brisket $ 6, pulled angus beef $ 7, and Chorizo Onions & Peppers $ 6. These are all served on toasted potato buns with your choice of chipotle mayo or spicy ghost mayo. Making it a «platter» is $ 2 more for 2 side and your choice of sides are zesty coleslaw, Texas dirty rice, and Cowboy beans. I had the dirty rice and coleslaw and they weren’t bad, but you’re not going here for the sides. She’s got some entrees, Whiskey Baby back full rack of ribs $ 23, Dixie Chix(half chicken) $ 8, and half rack and half chicken $ 21. She has a baked potato for $ 3 and a Bomb potato $ 5 which has pulled pork and is wrapped in bacon. I’m working my way through the meats and they are wonderful. No more waiting for the Amish market to have a pig roast and then waiting in obnoxious lines. She’s got great food coming out of that truck, so give it a shot!
