Great staff and wonderful atmosphere. We were visiting from New York and had a great time.

I was reluctant to give a 4 star, mainly because of the guy that sells you the lanes is slow and the ball return is old, no air blowing, and the system to fix bowlers name or score is from the 90’s. Also the fact that there is always a senior league going on is kinda upsetting. But! This bowling ally has a real PBA Tour pro bowler that owns his own pro shop. Short story before I tell you anymore. So I had 3 balls drilled for me over the course of a year, and the most recent being my 4th about 3 weeks ago. The first three were drilled at palm beach strikes and Greenacers. I threw them well, but my thumb would be bleeding by the 4th or 5th game. So I bought another bowling ball,(The Brunswick Mastermind Scholar) from the pro shop, and had the pro drill it with his suggestions. I bowled 15 – 20 games over the course of 4 hours, and not a single scratch on my Thumb(just a little swollen). This pro is the reason I give 4 stars. That and $ 2 Tuesday’s beer and bowling at any AMF Lanes.

$ 2 Tuesdays! $ 2 per person, $ 2 per game, $ 2 per pitcher. I came in on a Tuesday to take advantage of this great offer. I must disclose I’m a horrible bowler — quite possibly on the top 25 worst list but I enjoyed myself none the less. The bowling alley is clean, the music choice is good and the employees are readily available. Great place to hang and enjoy bowling with friends. There is also a league with varying skill levels if you’d like to touch up on your bowling skills.

Note: I walked in here totally sweet and respectful and sober. If I could give 0 stars I would. Just walked out of here because I’m TWENTYFIVE years old and was denied service because they wouldn’t accept my entirely valid New York State Driver’s License. I showed business cards, a debit card(which I paid with) and a credit card, all with the same name and was still denied. The hick bartender went to the hick assistant manager, who then went to the assumingly hickish General manager and all three idiots agreed that because my ID didn’t look like theirs, I wasn’t worthy of what I’m assuming is a Coors Light or Budweiser, which I imagine are 2 of the 3 beers they serve. Oh, and by the way, if you’re going to let me PAYWITH A CREDITCARDWITHTHATNAMEONIT, that card, in conjunction with my ID, should be enough to prove the validity of my ID. Obviously. You idiots. How are you going to believe the name on the credit card is mine but the one on the matching ID is not? Idiots. All of them. I shoulda offered them $ 100 to serve me — except I bet they’ve never seen a $ 100 bill and wouldn’t accept that either. Rant over.

Second time here its awesome time always has lanes open and the bar is pretty good too. If you are looking for something to do for a little bit play a few games

Clean clean clean-from the shoes, to the floors, to the bathrooms! Great customer service and food was good and served to our table. I would take the kids and family again. The music they played was a little too slow beat but hey, it was a sunday! The best bowling alley around.

Staff was friendly for the most part. Food was promptly prepared and served. The bowling technology is definitely dated. The pin setter got jammed a couple of times. The house balls looked liked they had been rolled down the street for a couple of miles. 2 hours and 3 pair of shoes cost us $ 50 on a Sunday That is pretty rough.

The crowd is predominately 70 years old plus or under 10 years old. The staff are unfriendly jerks, even the older woman was extremely rude! The food sits around all day and is incredibly overpriced for convenience snack food. All that said, I actually had a really great time here on one of Florida’s all too common rainy days. They have an all you can bowl deal until 5pm for only $ 10 a person. If you have a weekday off, this could be a great deal! I can’t bowl for longer than two hours without getting bored and tired, but it was still well worth it for me to not have to worry about the time or number of games we were playing. They had plenty of shoes, plenty of balls in many weights and sizes and quite a few lanes. The staff here may suck, but if you come when they have a deal, its still a good rainy day option since there is not a whole lot to do in this neighborhood.

Sub-par bowling. They don’t answer the phone even though website says to call for rates. Their special includes shoes and unlimited two hour bowling for $ 10.99 per person. Normally they charge almost $ 5 for shoes and $ 5 per game wtf?!? The place is old and run down. There were many families enjoying themselves but for the life of me I couldn’t understand why this location. Of course I didn’t eat there. Bowling alley’s are known for disgusting food. But I found several groups enjoying the pizza and beers. I’m almost certain I saw a sign saying beer was $ 3?!? For a Busch/Bud/Miller ?!? not sure. The machines are old and raggedy. Took maybe 10 minutes to start the first time. And later the machines locked up and were forced to restart game. But one thing that should receive 4 stars — Great customer service. I enjoy myself ok. But I have no intentions of returning.

Its not the sexiest bowling alley, but it is a rocking alley in its own right. They have good, efficient service. Plenty bowling balls, adequate arcade, and classic horrible bowling food adorn AMF. Now, now folks never complain about food at an alley or subsequent places where it is common knowledge they are serving poop on a plate. AMF is no different, but I expected that so they will not be punished for fitting the norm. I am done digressing. The real charm of this place is FREEBOWLINGMONDAYNIGHT after 10PM for STUDENTS/ORGANIZATIONS. So if you have been out of college for a few years like me, it is time to dust off your student ID and head to AMF to bowl that turkey.
