Baskin-Robbins

Ice cream sundaes were calling our names when we were going through some coupons last night. It is located inside right next to Dunkin Donuts. So, we asked for what we wanted and the server said they didn’t have enough contents for the sundae that I wanted. How so? Apparently, Baskin Robbins didn’t supply enough items for the Oreo sundae like what it had in the picture. It’s pretty funny when the guy said that there has been a lot of angry customers outraged to not meeting the picture of the sundae on the coupon. I can’t believe the company would do such a thing and not have the items for it. When you go to an ice cream shop, you would think you could get a normal sundae and not have to hear that reason. Either way, our server gave us what we wanted and he felt bad for what happened. The oreo cheesecake ice cream with caramel sauce topped with almonds was super delicious though. I took a bite of Chris’s Reese’s peanut butter cup sundae and it was sweet as well. A word of note for this company: Supply your menu items and you’ll do just fine.

Very disappointed with the ice cream cake — roll. We’ve been getting this for over 25 years at various baskin-​robbins locations. Tonight we had one and the fudge that was supposed to be covering the ice cream cake was actually just chocolate frosting — complete misrepresetation! Also, there used to be a choice of flavors and now there were only 3 choices — vanilla, chocolate chip or mint chocolate chip. Besides the lack of ice cream inside of this well-​known ice cream roll, the new name should be a chocolate cake with a little bit of chocolate chip ice cream. We don’t know if this is all baskin robbins or just this one? We had a roll in NJ less than a year ago and it was covered in yummy chocolate fudge.
