Worst Italian restaurant in Florida. It took an hour to get our food and it was tasteless. They will go out of business! Chicken Parmesan horrible and meat sauce with pasta had no sauce.

Horrible service. Honestly beyond horrible. Holy shit. Food was mediocre. Really all you can expect from an Italian chain restaurant.

We’ve eaten here before and it was frankly just ok, now holly cow this probably the worst darn experience I’ve ever had including eating at a truck stop. The food took at least an hour, the drinks were terrible, the server was hiding th e entire to me out of fear of the cook staffs complete and utter failure of turning out food. The food came out … boiled bland and under cooked. Basically if we come back it’ll be an absolute miracle. It’s obvious that the manager if he or she is actually here is overwhelmed or under qualified. The bread took at leat 40 minutes. .maybe th ey only have a hot plate and that’s how it’s working. Frankly I’ve never ever given a worse review in my life. Send the coupon back to corporate tell them to keep it. Dessert in the past has been good… just a word of advice just keep looking for another place.

We love bucas, there’s a large selection of Italian foods to choose from. We had dinner here with some nice friends, its always good to go here with a few people since it’s served family style you can share all the dishes. We started with brushetta and calamari both were very fresh and tasty, then we had two different salads and some pasta dishes and meatballs the size of grapefruits very moist and delicious, we haven’t even got to our main course yet I’m talking about some serious food here, they brought out the best chicken Marsala smothered with mushrooms and the perfect sauce then they brought some beautiful salmon with tomatoes and lemon cream sauce I loved them both. We finished it off with some coffee and great raspberry cheese cake and chocolate silk cake. The service was great the atmosphere is splendid with nice pictures everywhere and needless to say they had to roll me out of there, a lot of food.

I had a fabulous family style dinner at Buca di Beppo. The meal started with excellent bruschetta followed by 2 different salads both good. One was chopped salad and the other was Caesar salad. Then we had first-rate calamari with deliciously spicy sauce. Next they brought out spaghetti with marinara sauce. The spaghetti was cooked exactly correctly – not mushy, not too al dente. Then came the biggest meatballs I ever saw – they must have been 5 inches in diameter in beautiful marinara sauce. I was stuffed, but the main courses were still to arrive. The waitress now presented chicken marsala – sort of sweet and unusual along with ziti with cheese and Italian sausage – just fantastic and I love ziti with nicely cooked rosemary potatoes on the side. No bread was served. They also brought out very fishy salmon that I couldn’t eat with a smile on my face. I had an ice cold coke with the meal-refilled as needed. Buca di Beppo is beautifully decorated with old photographs and art that is worth the trip all by itself. Finally we had dessert– great creamy New York style cheesecake and scrumptious chocolate cake. Luckily, I paced myself so that I enjoyed every minute of one of the best Italian meals I’ve ever had. It was enhanced by wonderful service and a beautiful, spotlessly clean restaurant.

I’ve been to this Buca di Beppo before. The last time was over a year ago. I thought the food was okay. This time Clyde and I were there with four friends. Since the food is served family style we got several different dishes to share. We started with the bruschetta. It was a mound of chopped tomatoes with onions, cheeses, olive oil and balsamic vinegar surrounded by cheesy toast points. It was so fresh tasting and delicious. We also ordered calamari with a marinara dipping sauce. The calamari was light and crisp and very tender. Next we got two salads. The mixed green salad was good but I thought there was to much of the Italian vinaigrette dressing. It must be me, because everyone else loved it. We also got a Caesar salad which I thought was delicious. While everyone else was eating the mixed green salad Clyde and I had the Caesar salad pretty much to ourselves. After the salads came perfectly cooked spaghetti marinara and a delicious baked ziti with sausage. As if we weren’t full enough we had chicken Marsala which had mushrooms and a honey sweet sauce. It didn’t taste like chicken Marsala I’ve had before, but it was very good. We also had salmon sorrento in a lemon butter sauce. The salmon was a little fishy tasting. With our entrees we had two side dishes, rosemary potatoes which were light and delicious and the biggest meatballs I’ve ever seen. Desserts were a rich double dark chocolate cake and cheesecake with raspberry sauce. Delicious. Add to that ice tea and coffee and that was our dinner. It really was a spectacular meal. Other then the salmon being a little fishy everything else was five stars. The service was friendly and considering how much food was served it went smoothly. Dirty plates were cleared and replaced by clean plates, my ice tea and Clyde’s coke glass was regularly refilled. The only thing we didn’t get was bread. Needless to say we all took home a lot of leftovers. The last time I was at Buca di Beppo I thought the food was only fair. It was so much better this time. The prices are reasonable considering how large the servings are. It’s a great place to go with several friends and share several dishes. I can’t wait to go back.

Dinner companion had meatballs and spaghetti. And man, those were some huge balls… Reminds me of yesteryear. Companion said best ever. Caprese salad was very good. Mozza was fresh and tasty. My shrimp Caesar salad — not so good. I’m going with indifferent. Server very nice, attentive, and earned her tip.

The calamari appatizer with spicy marinara was pretty good. Everything else we ordered was fair to bad. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

They rectified the situation we had, and I was quite pleased with level of customer service we received from management. They were quite understanding and truly made an excellent effort to please their customers. The food is still mediocre, but the people behind the food are great.

Terribly overpriced restaurant. Family style is just a code phrase for ripoff. Mediocre food at a 5-star restaurant price. Edit: General Manager has contacted me and he tried to make up for this issue, so credit to the restaurant for doing that. Still, food is mediocre and kinda bland but at least I don’t feel like I was cheated out of my money.

The chicken parmesan was really good, very tender, and I liked the sauce alot. I think you can actually buy the sauce. The meatballs were pretty good too. The concept is family style and the portions are HUGE! I think it would be better to eat here with a big group. It was just my husband and I and our youngest daughter, who got a kids meal. So basically my husband and I had to agree on something to share or order 2 dishes which is enough to feed 6 adults. For just under $ 20 we got 3 pieces of chicken parmesan to share, no soup, salad, veg, or pasta, which made for a pretty boring dinner. There isn’t anything on the menu that is a single serving so you can’t just add a side salad to make it more of a meal, instead of just having a lonely piece off chicken parmesan sitting in the middle of your plate. The décor is really cluttered and kitschy, which I thought was fun. They have a round pope room that you can dine in. I’m not sure if this location has it, but in Orlando we got a walkthrough tour and there was a chef’s table in the kitchen. I thought that was interesting and would probably go back for that if this location offered it. I would have given the food and décor both a 4. The service was decent, about a 3.5. Unfortunately I can only give the entire experience a 3 due to the food taking a little longer than expected and the inflexibility of the menu for smaller groups.

Chain restaurants are never my first choice but one of my exceptions is Buca Di Beppo. The Boynton location is attached to the mall and has a separate entrance which is a little like maze. I showed up and 3 servers spotted me at the front kiosk but didn’t even acknowledge me. No hostess in sight, then the 4th server told me he’d be right with me. He turned out to be the bar server and it was his first day. He did a great job but there is certainly a staff issue here. The kids are not properly lead, supervised, and trained. There is one certain dish I enjoy but it’s a family menu it only. I ordered the prosciutto stuffed chicken and a side of spaghetti with pesto sauce. This was fairly well prepared but I remember the last two I ordered it to be much better. The chicken was acceptable but barely stuffed with filling. This place is pricey for a single dining unless you Choose from the limited single portion menu. The other trick is for your group to agree on one dish and order family style. My observation was although my server was great the rest of the staff I observed were not aware of hospitality. The food was more chain-like at this location than I’ve experience d at other Bucca restaurants. My advise is check it out for yourself and the Unilocal about it. Lest see if we are on the same page. Family style Italian dining. Very cute set up. You come here with a group of people. All the portions are family style, so their huge and the more people you come with the more you can share. The staff is very nice. The food is really good. The Gorgonzola salad is amazing!!! They have great wine too! Oh and the cannoli’s are very good! If your looking for a birthday dinner or bridal lunch check this place out.

My husband and I went here for dinner on Friday and thought it was good, but not overly impressing. We had made reservations and told them ahead of time that it was our anniversary and that we’d like to be seated away from large families. They told us they were seating us at a special table… They ended up seating us in the Cardinal room(right next to the bathroom) right next to a table with 4 loud children. Luckily the table was paying for their bill, so we didn’t make a fuss to switch tables. We ordered the mozzarella bread as our appetizer, the spicy arrabiata pizza and prosiutto chicken as our entrees, and the brownie sundae for dessert. While all the food was good and our server Zac was great, the appetizer took and obnoxiously long time to come out(although it was steaming hot when it did finally come), and the dessert took a while too! I’m sure there had to be something going on it the kitchen, since our entrees came out almost the same time as our appetizer. Overall everything was ok, but nothing outstanding!

I took our guests there when they were in Boynton Beach, the food was not as good as expected, it was supposed to be Family Style, with large portions which they were not, food was tasteless, we eat out 5 or more times per week, other Italian restaurants do a much better job at better prices. Sorry, we will NOT be back…

I came here for Christmas dinner. The service was good and it wasn’t incredibly packed. When ordering food here, everything comes in family-size. You can choose the«small» plate that serves two people or the«large» that serves about four(maybe more?). We ended up ordering the baked ziti to split along with the garlic bread. The«small» order was more than we both could finish. The same goes for the garlic bread. When it comes to the baked ziti, it was just okay. The garlic was bread was fantastic though. I’d like to try the eggplant parm next time. It doesn’t come with a side of pasta though. All side pastas are a la carte.

What a memorable evening! We had a group of ten, and everything was perfect. We started off with drinks in the bar area as we waited to be seated. We were placed in what can best be described as the Pope room(pictures of previous Popes adorn the wall). The large table was round and had a rotating inner portion that enabled us to easily share food. And, we had a lot to eat. We started off with bread. Make sure to ask for it. Then, we had all types of appetizers. My favorite was the mushrooms with sour cream. Really good. Same deal with the main course. We had all types of Italian standards. I liked everything. I enjoyed the pastas with the red sauce. I also like spicier foods. We finished with some chocolate cake, cheese cake and tiramisu. We had different types of cocktails, wine and beer. We were stuffed afterward, but it was well worth it. Sometimes you have to over indulge. I can’t think of too many places that are better than this place for larger groups. We always walk out of this place happy and satisfied.

Like any other locations, Buca di Beppo is more about quantity than quality. I was excited that a location was opening closer to me in Boynton Beach but was disappointed with the service and quality of the food. I went for lunch and waited over an hour to get my food in a restaurant with no other customers. Hopefully they work out the kinks.
