Went to dinner here last night. got the mushroom bacon burger and a mint chocolate milk shake. Both were amazing. Service was average, the tables were a little sticky, but the price was right. Good quality food will bring me back.

great service, just mind the running and screaming children. It comes with being a family place, but food is always good

Driving up to West Pam Beach on 95 I thought I was seeing things when I saw the red Friendly’s sign at the Boynton Beach exit. On the way home I had to stop in. As far as I have ever known the only Friendly’s in Florida was in Orlando on International Drive. It took some searching as it is not right off of the exit but 20 minutes later we were sitting at their old fashioned ice cream parlor counter. For anyone who grew up in the Northeast this place brings back so many memories from home. Let me explain that the ice cream is not gelato, Haggan Daz or Coldestone quality but it is nostalgic. It is a fun place to relax, have a sandwich, pick out a crazy sundae and indulge. My son had the double grilled cheese hamburger. Let me tell you that thing was beyond huge!!! Two perfectly grilled cheese sandwiches on white bread with a Friendly’s burger inbetween! He topped it off with one of the most ordered sundae’s from Friday nights with the gang. The famous Reces Pieces Sunday… This has three scoops of ice cream with candy, peanut sauce, chocolate sauce, whipped cream and a cherry. It was made right in front of us and came out pitcure perfect! I had coffee in those old style diner cups with the saucer. The guy working the counter kept refilling and I enjoyed the not so rushed pace. The clam chowder was darn good for a chain. It left me wanting seconds but I had ice cream to conquer. I had a black raspberry cone and it was just what I always remembered, cold, sweet, creamy, berry goodness. My son enjoyed it so much he asked if we could go back for his birthday!

I came back in here and had the Strawberry Fills Forever breakfast. It was so good. It was cut up French toast topped with powdered sugar surrounded by strawberries and syrup with a scoop of strawberry ice cream and whipped cream in the middle. I felt like a little girl again! :)

Frankly I gave it a one star rating just to be nice. I’ve been to other locations that were okay but this Friendly’s is the reason chain restaurants get a bad name. It’s loud, the food is bad, and the service(when existent) is just bad. My 5 year old son likes the clown sundae in a cup but as soon as his taste buds finish developing we will never be back.

My boyfriend and I decided to try their breakfast as it was pretty conveniently located. We went in and first off there was not a host to greet us and it was about five minutes before someone came from the back. We ordered breakfast which took forever and then when we received it, it was only half of the order and it was incorrect. The waitress apologized and said that the remaining dishes would be out shortly as well as a drink refill. Well when she finally came back and sat the remaining food down on the table, she spilled the three drinks on her tray all over the food and my boyfriend. A big fail for Friendly’s, we will not return there.
