Gateway Club

Didn’t really enjoy my time at this apartment complex. My neighbors complained about me going outside on my patio using the sliding door as being «too loud». You get up-​charged for EVERYTHING, 2^nd floor, lake view, curbside garbage pick up (Great place for the raccoons to eat), etc. Lived in the back near some shady characters with traffic going in and out all night if you know what I mean. Very limited parking, and where you could park, your car gets sprayed with reclaimed water.
Moved out prior to my lease ending and got a TON of slack from the management. They charged me SO much too. It was ridiculous. Even after I painted the walls and cleaned everything they still kept the majority of my deposit, in addition to the almost $ 3,000 I had to pay to leave. Hot tub was warm, but the pool was often used for pool parties and young children were often running around unattended. I’m glad I’m out of there, but I still have a really sour taste in my mouth.
They offer a welcome breakfast once a month which is an assortment of stale donuts and horrible coffee. Not even close to what I was told or imagined it would be.
Neighborhood is BAD. A couple blocks over they have a bulletproof glass on the gas station window past dark. Sweet… It is a gated community, but completely accessible on foot– so what is the point of a gate?!
If you want to pay a lot of money for a crummy place to live and get a lot of grief for it from neighbors and your management, this is the place for you!!! They don’t care!!! They drive Mercedes!!! Go somewhere else and stay out of the Gateway Club.
