This is our first visit to Tijuana Flats. We love it. Fresh ingredients, authentic Mexican flavor, HUGE tacos, wonderful guacamole. The service was impeccable. The manger came by several times to serve us, ask how the food was, and even refill our drinks! When we told him we were traveling and wanted to wrap up out leftovers, he did much more than we expected. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Try it! You will LOVE it!

This location used to be my favorite one to visit but that quickly changed as of yesterday. The staff has always been very friendly. The girls at the front always have a great attitude and seem happy, and every time I’ve come in, Jen and Sofia have both helped tremendously and greeted me with a smile on their face. The general manager Matt has also always checked on guests to ensure they’re doing alright and seemed like a great guy. However, yesterday I brought a friend with me for the first time after she heard my rave reviews about the food and service. We approached the register while looking at menus and a manager named Rick immediately stopped and told us «you don’t need to look at that, let me help you». I could have appreciated how forward he was had he not had an attitude and had approached it another way. He could barely describe items on the menu and when it got to what drink I was having, he said loudly«I’m listening, you’re not speaking!» which I found to be rude and quite surprising considering every other employee is always very patient(Especially on taco Tuesday). After taking our order, he continued to talk to us but when Sofia approached us to give us the chips and queso she asked where we wanted to sit so she could put it down for us, in which he gave her a look and said«they haven’t chosen anywhere yet» and then looked back at us and ignored her. The food was great so commends to the kitchen, and as usual, customer service was great from the cashiers, but I still have a sour taste in my mouth from Rick. Going to start trying out the Delray store unfortunately

Wow! Normally I just go in here grab my food and go! Today I stopped to thank Rick! Rick is clearly the new manager here that has changed this place around. Before the food was good, but now it’s great! They greet you when you open the doors! They offer you a drink while you wait! They smile and have such life in them! I had no idea they did catering but I found a note in my bag that spelled it out for me! This place will be at the top of Unilocal soon! So impressed and they are in MYNEIGHBORHOOD!

I have never written a review on here but my experience here was so lovely that i just had to. It was my first visit to any Tijuana Flats and every staff member went above and beyond for me. I will visit this place every time I come down to Florida. Oh, and the food was amazing and fresh!

The Queso is good but the chicken taco wasn’t all that fabulous. It was fine enough I guess but I prefer a warm taco myself. Not sure if it was really supposed to be warm or not. I love the fact that they had what seemed like dozens of hot sauces to choose from(not that I tried them this time. Around). I will try them again but I have to say, I dig Chipotle a lot more.

The manager Philip is legit the coolest guy ever. He is super accommodating, knows his hot sauces, and he makes sure my order is correct every time. I appreciate that. One night, we strolled in five min before closing and he made us almost guilty for leaving without food. Said he didn’t wanna throw all that food out and gave us two beers to boot. We ended up ordering a ridiculous amount of food cuz we were grabbing it for the roommates too… and there was not one problem. And ever item was perfection. Thanks guys!

I love this place! I wish we had one in Alabama. It was taco Tuesday and I got two steak tacos with chips and a drink for $ 5.49. There numerous kinds of salsas to put on the food and the service was quick.

First visit to this southern taco chain I can say my stuff was very good but I may need to do a little more research before I can formulate an educated opinion. Cheap eats were on the menu since a junior coworker selected this place. It was good food for around 5 bucks on Taco Tuesday. The place is quick the choices are excellent and the food was very good too. Lots of good staff very friendly and helpful. The food runners will refill your drink and bring more hot sauce. Seating in or out its all good. I would definitely return especially for their addictive tortilla chips.

The food is pretty good. I went on a Tuesday for the taco special. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. From the moment I walked in I was attended. From the manager to the cashier.

I went to the Wellington location a few times. It seems to be pretty consistent at all location I have been to including Delray. So this is for all of them. This is a solid take out Mexican place. Very nice décor. They have a hot sauce bar with some top notch hot sauces with very good descriptions. Their selection of food is good. The quality of the food is also good. They claim not to have a freezer, or microwave or refrigerator(I am not sure about the refrigerator.) Personally I don’t believe any of those claims. I mean, I would be satisfied with them saying their ingredients are delivered fresh each day. I dont need them to take it a step further because it is a bit of a stretch of the imagination that an inspected restaurant serving chicken, dairy, and ice cream does not have anything to keep these items from spoiling. On to the food. The taste of everything Ive tried has always been good. I havent had a bad meal. Except when I took out from Delray. Mexican is not something you want to transport so it could have just been the act of taking it out. Soggy, and almost unedible. I also think the meat was a bit saltier than the other places.

Nice! It is way better than I remembered when I had the first bite at a Deerfield Beach location. We had a special BOGO coupon valid at this Boynton location. My husband was a bit hesitant to try them in the past, but when we had the BOGO coupon, it was big savings he could not refuse. Upon entering, the place was active with dining customers that seemed to really enjoy their meals. We walked up to the register and found there was no menu up there until an employee directed us to the back wall by the entrance to obtain the menus. The options were many and a lot of mixing and matching and building, too. We both got something with chicken. It cost extra to have certain items added on, like salsa, guacamole(of course), and the type of tortilla. We sat down at a table and waited but 5 minutes for a server to bring out our orders. My husband loved his lunch and my burrito was enormously delicious, too! The only thing we didn’t quite care for was the guacamole. It had a bit too much tomatoes and onions in it. But I still finished it anyway. Their special verde salsa sauce is so good and I can see why it’s extra after having tried a couple of their complimentary sauce at the condiments bar. Now if you’re in the mood for a satisfying Mexican meal that is somewhere up there by Chipotle and Moe’s– consider Tijuana Flats if you’re in a hurry… Cos I know Chipotle is always PACKED. There is another new TF location that was built last year after this one. It is on the corner of Congress and Old Boynton Beach Blvd in the Snappers & TJMaxx plaza that is across the street from Carolina Ale House and Bed Bath & Beyond.

Great Mexican food place that always uses fresh ingredients. My go to order for T Flatts is the two taco meal with chicken and black beans. This meal is such a great deal. 2 tacos, chips and a drink. One thing that most people don’t know is that you can get grilled fajita veggies on pretty much anything. They are just peppers and onions that are used for fajitas and I always get them on my tacos. Hot sauce bar is great and I love going hot and a little bit sweet. I like spicy sauces but then I usually mix in «smack my ass and call me sally» sauce. It is a great blend of the two flavors. Overall great place and I love them tacos.

My fiancé loves Tijuana Flats! He’s a super picky eater and this is usually the place he likes to go to if he’s ever conflicted about where to get food. He likes it for what is is, Tex Mex. I like Tijuana Flats too. For an Americanized taco chain, I think it’s probably one of the best. They have a decent menu and the food I’ve tried were good. Everything is made to order which is perfect for my fiancé. He likes his food very simple. I love the salsa bar! There are about a dozen or more choices and I’d be happy to try them all if I could. My fiancé’s family loves the nachos and cheese. We all love their tacos. But if I were given a choice between an authentic Mexican restaurant and Tijuana Flats, I’d probably pick authentic Mexican food over Tijuana Flats. I grew up in San Diego and I think authentic Mexican food is way more delicious, flavorful, and spicy. But honestly, it’s probably not fair to compare Tijuana Flats with an authentic Mexican restaurant because they have totally different types of clientele: one who doesn’t really like Mexican food(TF) and one who eats Mexican food. Just kidding ;) Overall, yes, I’d definitely be back over and over again to have a happy fiancé and to satisfy my hunger at the same time. Tijuana Flats has good food, great service, and for a fair price. Everybody wins. The servers often come by to make sure drinks are filled and clear the tables.

Um, this is probably the smallest salad I’ve ever ordered from a Mexican place. I felt super cheated. I got the Mahi Salad and it was definitely less 4 ounces of fish, I mean a measly 2.5 pieces of fish. I didn’t eat the salad bowl because it was just this oil drenched, burnt tortilla that totally was not worth the calories it contained. If you are looking for a healthy option… this salad is not where it’s at. There was maybe like 2 cups of lettuce and a few jalapenos; left me super hungry. I’d much prefer Chipotle or Moes.

As Mexican joints go, this place is a winner! They’ve got a large menu with a ton of options for meat eaters, vegetarians, and seafood eaters. When you enter, it seems like it should be a full service place, but it’s not. It’s a little confusing because it’s not really clear where you should go. Go to the counter, place your order, go find a seat, and they’ll deliver your order to you. There is no menu behind the counter, so be sure to pick up a menu right when you walk in the front door. The chips/salsa here are REALLYGOOD! They do not come with your meal, but be sure to order them on the side! YUM! The salsa bar — oh boy! I love that they have the various salsas named based on their hotness, and they’ve got smiley faces depending on the hotness as well. We like the flavor of spice, but not how it feels on our palate, so we had 3 «pansy» salsas from which to choose. Two of them were more like a «sweet n sour» sauce you’d get at a Chinese restaurant, while 1 was like a mole’ sauce and über delish! Pricing is super reasonable, and despite the fact that the outdoor seating is adjacent to the parking lot, it’s still a nice option if the weather isn’t nasty hot. If you’re in the mood for Mexican, swing by here and have a bite. Good stuff!
