This is nit-picking but they really should get a new drive through speaker system. We go here two to three times a week and always have to repeat ourselves a few times. Other than that, this place is great. Service is great and the food is tasty. They have great REAL chicken nuggets.

I did want to like this restaurant. But it’s missed the mark twice. The food is fine but it’s the service that is lacking. Most recently I called an order in to speed up the process. I arrived when I was told to for the pick up. Upon arrival I waited in line behind customers ordering, when I did finally pay I receive a milkshake made ahead of time. The girl checked on my order only to be to told by the cook I could get in line like everyone else.??(I would have fired the smart mouth on the spot). Several people that were ordering when I arrived received their orders before me. I did finally get my order, and me, my burger and my warm runny milkshake left never to return. Why didn’t I enjoy my milkshake while I waited? It wasn’t for me. :(

I had heard great things about Best Burger, but was sadly disappointed. The quality of the meat wasn’t great, it’s was a little pricey, and I was most disappointed in the milkshake. They didn’t use chocolate ice cream, they used vanilla with chocolate syrup. Won’t go back.

To some, this really is the best burger in town. This is a classic burger, made in the style of a 1950’s drive-in. I give them credit for sticking to their family heritage, using consistent ingredients, and focusing on doing a few things well. Their care and love of food is apparent in the fresh cut fries and hand-spun milk shakes. They do a great job bringing back the meal that many of us knew in our youth as a special night out. While well executed, I can’t accept this style as the pinnacle of burger gastronomy. I find the griddle burger sits heavy in my stomach. The hand spun milk shakes use soft-serve ice cream and syrup(not fruit). I will say that the authentic fries are a true standout. The prices are reasonable and the staff is great. Do stop by of you are looking for a throwback to a simpler time before flame-broilers and garlic infused fries. You might find this to be the best burger. For me, it’s a fun walk down memory lane.

Decent burgers at a fair price. I’d take this over fast food, but I wouldn’t make a special trip to eat here(I live in town.)

Been here twice now and I’m loving it! Really good burgers, yummy fries, and delicious milkshakes. We went inside last time, and ordered for 10 people. They had our food out within 6 – 7 minutes. I was impressed at how fast they were. Everyone was very friendly as well. I brought my picky brother in law and he was so impressed, he sought out the owner to give his compliments. Love it out there!

We have been meaning to stop by this place for a while, but always drive by. It is a rare occasion that we stop for fast food, but we were in the mood for a fast burger. Rather than waste my money on some overpriced Mc Donalds crapburger, we decided to give Best Burger a try. I was a little concerned about the price, it is a little more spendy than your run of the mill fast food, and the menu is entirely a la carte, however upon receiving our meal we were blown away by the quality! Their hand cut french fries were thin cut and perfectly crispy. Also they were hot and fresh. You could tell they were made to order, NOT made and waiting for someone to order them, possibly for hours. The burgers looked delicious and fresh, piled with veggies and a fluffy bun. This concerned me because my son is quite the messy eater. He seems to eat by osmosis usually resulting in 90% of the meal on the floor. He ate the whole burger and did not drop a single piece. This just goes to show how awesome this burger was! My daughter ordered the chicken nuggets, which I fully expected to be those nuggets from Costco thrown into the deep frier. The chicken nuggets were hand cut chicken breast breaded and fried. That’s right! I could tell they were not only from a real animal, but which part of the animal too! A rare gem in the fast food industry. Overall we were quite pleased with everything from the amazing food to the fast and friendly service. Not only do I have to say we will be going back, but we will never waste our money on traditional fast food again! It is a bit spendier than your run of the mill fast food, but the quality was totally worth it!

We were so happy we stopped in here! Great, simple food. They do a few things(burgers, chicken sandwiches, shakes) and they do them well. I was especially impressed that the chicken nuggets came from real actual pieces of chicken(vs the crap you get at fast food chains). Prices are totally reasonable. I wish the family went through Four Corners more often — we’d be regulars!

Stopped by Best Burger on our way up to Big Sky, what a treat! The portions are good, the food very fresh and the service prompt and friendly. We went through the drive through and had to pull up the window to order because she said she couldn’t hear us on their intercom system. That made it a little difficult to order without a menu in front of us, but she was great about answering our questions. For two burgers, a large fry and a huckleberry shake our total was around $ 12, I expected it to be more! The food was great and service was quick. We’ll be back for sure! Check this place out for a local and fresh tasting burger! YUM!

The food is getting better at Best Burger! The fresh fries are crispier and have a nice flavor, I wish they’d salt them a hair more. I’d also like to see avocado as a topping choice and a bunless, lettuce wrap option. Overall, the location is great(for me), service is usually friendly and fairly quick and the food is good. Please, Best Burger teach your employees how to make a proper soft serve cone!

Did the drive thru. Pretty decent cheese burger and fries. Cost: $ 7. The burger is a little on the small side, but it tastes freshly charcoal-broiled, not steamed like the chains. However, the cold supermarket-type bun sucks. They should either toast it or serve buns from one of the better bakeries in town. Then this burger would be worth it. Maybe I just got lucky with the fries, but they were fried perfectly. Don’t forget to ask for salt and ketchup for the fries because none were included in my order and I didn’t realize it until I was well down the road. Fries were pretty good, but maybe a touch under seasoned. Staff is very cheerful. I might stop again for the fries(with ketchup), because they are worth $ 2.55, but I probably wouldn’t get a burger again unless they fix the bun situation. Bozeman has too many other good, quick food options to settle and the burger is just not worth $ 4(+.50 for cheese).

Ok, people. This is supposed to be a quick, old school burger spot, not a gormet place. The kid at the counter was pretty bad, he mumbled, didn’t speak up and seemed annoyed that we finally said«can you speak up? We can’t hear you.» So, remember, customer service is important. The food was what was expected, we will be back, and that kid hopefully will learn how to take an order! Improvements: Better customer service, without long hair hanging in the food(emo dressed girl prepping food) Use local buns Outdoor seating Better fries in HOTOIL.

This place is great! It’s about $ 1-$ 2 more than McDonalds and the product is amazing! Yeah it’s not a bison burger from Teds for $ 15 but I think the product you get here for the price is amazing! These other reviews are looking for a teds style burger at half the price so they are fucking stupid and need to shut their mouths. This place is great! And locally owned! And gets their food locally! Anddddd the prices are as good as you could expect… you’d be crazy not to like this place. Enjoy!

Just what I wanted from a small independent roadside burger joint: tasty honest grilled burgers, excellent French fries, fast service and a local«mom and pop» atmosphere. I also particularly like the owners«no tipping» policy. Bozeman has long awaited a non-chain counterpart to Livingston’s Mark’s In and Out(which is open only seasonally) and the Pop Stand(now defunct)… and this is as close as we get. Parking is a little limited, the interior décor is plain and beige, the exterior is easy to miss — anonymous really — and the location is a 16 mile R/T drive from downtown Bozeman to Four Corners. But if you’re in the mood for a reasonably priced honest burger, it hits the spot. Recommended!

I’ve been anticipating this Best Burger for awhile, but when my kids said they wanted chicken and fries for lunch my first thought was to pull in to the Korner Klub… And then I saw the cook and pulled right back out! With a cigarette in hand and a dirty white apron still on, he was hanging outside of the kitchen right where every vehicle on Huffine could see. SO. GROSS. I was really hoping that Best Burger had some form of chicken strips, nuggets, or sandwich. To my surprise, they did have nuggets and the girl behind the counter said they were, well, the best. Seems to be a common theme here… I ordered the ¼ lb. burger and got the kids the 10 piece nuggets with a regular fry to share. My burger was good and honestly, it was nothing super duper or gourmet by any means, but I think the feel they were going for was a classic, old-time burger joint and they are pretty darn close to just that. I was impressed that the nuggets were actually moist little chunks of chicken breast lightly battered and fried, not processed chicken parts. My kids ate up the fries and I had to order another round. The place was very clean and the gals behind the counter were sweet, which means a lot to me. Things that could make it better: — I’m awaiting the drive-thru opening soon… — maybe some booster seats or high chairs for little customers(unless I missed them, I didn’t see any).

The staff was friendly, and the dining area was about as small as you’d expect for the building size, but what really needs improvement at Best Burger is the food. The burgers were under-seasoned. They reminded me of the burgers of my childhood when someone just pressed some ground beef and tossed it over the flames of a grill and cooked it until a char formed. Similarly, the buns were the classic grocery store variety, not what I’d expect when going out for a decent burger. The burger toppings(tomato, onion, lettuce, pickles) were all fresh and enjoyable. Among the times I’ve been to Best Burger, the French fries(I tried the fresh cut fries, sweet potato fries, and fast food fries) were under-cooked and not seasoned. I ordered a ‘large’ fry and a ‘regular sized’ fry for the family, and they were the same size(small)! I thought it was just a fluke, but I’ve seen it happen there multiple times. If you go out to Best Burger, save your money and just order a regular sized fry. The fries were too soggy for my taste. As another reviewer mentioned, the oil was not hot enough. The fried jalapeño topping was the same — deep fried, yet soggy and greasy. The only other comment I have on Best Burger is that they make the milkshakes at the counter as soon as people order them. That’s great for the people that order the milkshakes, but for the people waiting in line, it’s an extra minute or two wait for each milkshake ordered. ** How to improve ** This place has potential, and here is how they could go from 2 to 4 stars: 1) Fix the fryer oil 2) Double the amount of fries in the ‘large’ order 3) Swap the current bun for one from a local bakery or other decent bun(Best Burger is located only a mile down the road from On The Rise Bakery) 4) Adjust the burger seasoning

I’ve been searching for the best burger in Bozeman for the last month. I’ve tried all the established spots(Burger Bob’s, Ted’s, Copper) and I’ve had some very good burgers, but none that I would unequivocally call«the best». Then I had a quick lunch at a new place in Four Corners called Best Burger. Now normally I’m a little suspicious of any restaurant with the word«best» in their name, but I have to say that, after several more visits, I’m comfortable claiming that I have found the best burger experience in the Bozeman area. Some details. They are open for lunch and dinner. They are located in a tiny little bungalow right next to the Thriftway gas station on the South-East corner of Four Corners. There isn’t a lot of seating and it’s been very busy every time I’ve gone, but I never seem to have trouble getting a table(so don’t be discouraged if it looks super packed). Parking can be a bit of a challenge. They accept cash and cards. And the staff is very friendly. Now the food. You can probably find a more finely crafted burger at 14 North or Ale Works. You can probably find burgers with fancier toppings at Copper or Ted’s. But I’m sure you won’t find a better tasting burger and fries(particularly not for $ 9 total… including a drink) than the one at Best Burger. The menu is straightforward(pick a double or single and what toppings you want). My favorite combo so far is a single with swiss cheese and fried jalapeños. And the fresh-cut fries are simply amazing. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but the more times I go, the more I’m convinced that this place is very aptly named.
