Founder Greg Mortenson suffers the slings and arrows of our sometimes too myopic Western society as he continues to build schools in the remote regions of Afhanistan and Pakistan. He seems as tireless today as he was 3 years ago when I met him in Naples.(Thanks, Mina Hemingway, for assuring that our Club’s invitation was well received at CAI). I support his role in improving this sad, conflicted world of ours, and wish him a hasty recovery from heart surgery this month. Believe me, there IS no hole in this man’s heart.
