I used to enjoy shopping locally and supporting the wonderful artists whose work is available in this shop. Unfortunately, the rude behavior of one of the owners has finally caused me to stop shopping there. Customer service does not seem to be a priority there, which is a shame.

Although I’ll agree with other reviews regarding the wonderful art that is available at this gallery, I witnessed an unfortunate event there. The owner(?) totally and very rudely blew off a young artist who apparently was looking to get his paintings into this gallery. Only caught a glimpse of the beautiful work he had. Felt bad for him, left the jewelry I had planned to buy on the counter, and walked out.

I was in Bozeman for work and was told to check this place out by a waitress at Garage. I am so happy I did. The place is full of all sorts of wonderful bits and bobs to be taken home and all of it is created by local artists(something I really appreciate as a fellow artist). I left with a snazzy pair of handmade earrings and an 8×10 print. The staff were super friendly and prices all very reasonable. I will definitely be back next time I am in town!

Paper mache animal heads. What a great alternative to the real animal heads displayed on dens and lodges all over. Tart has really cute items all made by local artists. The ceramic birds are beautiful and look so real. The bullet necklaces were an interesting use of something most people throw out. Had I figured out how to get them on the plane or in the mail, I might have bought a couple of them. Who thinks of doing that? The slippers for little kids were adorable. Deceptively simple, they obviously took a bit of work to get the lining, material and flannel sewn together on something so small. But the cutest thing of all, was the very well-mannered dog who sat on the floor posing as he surveyed the customers and guarded the desk.
