Danny’s Pizzeria

This place was amazing, goods money worth! calzone was just to die for, I’ve never tasted something so delicious before. We got a supreme pizza and for the $ 20 it was worth it! All the veggies yum! Then got pepperoni pizzas and again made to perfection! Will definitely eat here when In Florida! Not even in New York is pizzerias this good! If you want great food and extremely hungry this is your place to be! Make sure to grab extra napkins!

I’m from Long Island New York and have to say this is the best pizza I’ve had away from home. The people were friendly the prices are good and the pie is delicious !! Highly recommend will be a regular customer from now on !!

The food here is very good. True New York Italian style dishes. The marinara sauce is like it’s from Italy, and the pizza is excellent. Service is very good. I have a couple of recommendations for the management, though. Turn down the air conditioning. Every time I go here it’s so hot inside it’s hard to enjoy the meal! The second recommendation is not to charge $ 2.00 for a split plate. Geez… The helpings are large, so only a person with a huge appetite could finish them in one sitting! The extra charge really looks bad to the customers. Take it into consideration.

YUM. — huge pizzas and delicious garlic knots with marinara sauce. you walk in and it’s a small little place but packed with lots of flavor. the chefs are throwing the pizza dough and it smells delightful. we got a meat lovers pizza and a supreme pizza — both were delicious. the garlic knots are super cheap but taste fantastic. definitely a must if you order pizza — don’t forget the garlic knots.

I wanted a light lunch and noticed you could get pizza by the slice; perfect, I thought. Ordered single slice of pepperoni, sausage, green pepper. Can’t remember what it was called but those were the main ingredients. Very disappointed: the crust was like a thin burned piece of cardboard, very little cheese, very little sauce and the meat was flavorless. Price was ok, around $ 4 with tax. A dollar tip made it $ 5. Small order but it made a big first impression. I will not return. To the owner, I am sorry but an honest review.

Lasagna pizza, fried ravioli, and house salad with creamy Italian were all excellent.

Best Pizza in town and I’ve tried them all! The Philly cheesesteak is also really really good!

I have since writing my last review, moved to a house from my apartment, in the same zip code as the apartment… one night last month we excitedly ordered from Danny’s and had no issues during the ordering process.
I received a call a little while later from the delivery guy asking where we lived, as he and another employee were debating about it, and I explained. He recalled we used to live in an apartment and I confirmed that. He said that our new house, despite being in the same zip code was out of their delivery zone and that he would deliver this time but that they would no longer be able to deliver to us. When I said we’ve been loyal customers for years and that it saddened me they wouldn’t deliver even though we are still in the same zip code, he said «well, you’re welcome to call and see if it’s busy, personally if it’s not busy I won’t mind delivering to you but on any busy night we cant.»
Now if you know this pizza place they are usually packed and very busy– of couse, they have exceptional food! I do not, however, want to spend time to pick out food and then call to find out they are too busy to deliver and really I shouldn’t have to even ask about that, being in the same zip code. It is unfortunate and was a bad way to handle that situation, I feel. But now for any of our delivery orders I have to find a new pizza place. I love Danny’s pizza but if they won’t deliver to us (and we do not usually like dining in the pizzeria we prefer dining at home) I can only have it when we happen to want to dine in the pizzeria or feel like going to pick up our order. Very disappointed.

It was our first time here! We had a large chicken parm pizza garlic knots and mango habanero wings. The pizza was hot and fresh. Very tasty. Great ny style pizza for Bradenton. The knots were pretty fantastic as well. The wings were liked but very spicy.
The atmosphere is great with a friendly staff and both inside and outside dining!!!
We are coming back.

This review has not much to do with the food but much about the attention to cross contamination or cleanliness or what ever you what to name it …
I ordered my food paid for it & waited… well here’s where it gets gross… the same person that took my money (all money is dirty) proceeded to start making a pizza he stuck his hand into the big dish of cheese… then into the mushrooms and on & on with absoutly no hand washing… happy to see no gloves because that’s just as bad … disgusting… if this is what I see out in the open who knows what else… just sayin!!!
I have eaten at Danny’s since the day it opened however will find it difficult from now on to eat there… you need to fix this…

What a great find… a true slice of NY pizza… I had cheese, of course, and it was great. Only drawback is Pepsi products only which seems to be the preference around here. I would come back and try the meatball sub!

This place has won me over! Good service and a great tasting pizza done just the way I ordered. Me thinks it’s my new favorite pizza joint!

Amazing pizzas. Even more amazing Garlic Knots! Family-​friendly, too! Other 5-​Star reviews got us here, and we couldn’t agree more! The waitstaff was very friendly. And, we finally found a place that was delicious AND didn’t cost an arm and leg. Highly recommended!

A very nice surprise in the Bradenton area. The food, service and atmosphere were all very good. A fun place to have dinner with the family and enjoy the MLB All Star game.
Our server Alexa V was very nice and kept things moving. Our Greek salad and caprese salad were excellent and the large meatball pizza was very good. Thanks to all for the hospitality at Danny’s. Look forward to coming back.

Excellent «New York style» pizza, nothing compares to NY style pizza of course but this place was pretty damn good. The pizza crust was just the way we like it nice and crispy and well done. The pepperonis on the pizza had a slightly spicy flavoring which was delicious and the sauce on the pizza was slightly sweet. The garlic knots where perfectly baked and seasoned. When I go back to Bradenton I will make sure to return here for my pizza run.

If you were wondering what my favorite pizza place is in Bradenton, it is Danny’s. Just sayin’.
Danny’s has their newly expanded dining area, so now there is actually seating!!!
After teasing us with this dining area for more than six months, we can actually dine in and enjoy ourselves.
Why are they my favorite and obviously everyone else’s favorite as well?
ALL of the food is good. There, I said it. Every bite of food I have ever put into my mouth from Danny’s is quality grub, from the; salads, complimentary garlic knots, marinara, pasta, calzones, various specials, and of course the pizza. Omg the pizza!
I could continue to rave on, but it’s not the 90’s.
