0 stars if I could. This place is absolutely terrible. I know — Hotel 6, what should I expect right? But it has 3 stars! And local hotels were outrageously overpriced so we gave it a shot. NEVER. AGAIN. I generally have positive and uplifting reviews as I can usually find silver lining anyway. But, here we go: 1. First room we checked into was clean, but the Lysol chemical on the wood floor was so strong we literally could taste and an hour /strong headache and dizziness later we switched rooms. 2. No towels, had to ask for them. 3. No shampoo. 4. Beds were fine and the room is actually cute with an orange wall and matching comforter. 5. Second room had a distinct odor but was the lesser of two evils. 6. The morning we woke up to a loud motor outside our door that lasted for about 45 minutes and was washing the walkway. This started at 11am and not only pushed now a gasoline fragrance into our room, but left the pathways difficult to walk on, or under for that matter, and also got the front half of my vehicle wet. Normally probably wouldn’t care but we got a beautiful rental that was now half spotted. 7. Wifi is not free. $ 2.99 per day per unit. Freaking outrageous. 8. The lobby attendant was friendly enough. This place lived up to its Hotel 6 name and is terrible. It’s literally the«Spirit Airlines» of hotels. We also tried a Howard Johnson despite its low key rep and loved it, so I’m not a snob at all. DONOTGOHERE.

Room was alright looking, mostly clean, though had evidence of cigarette burns on the bedspread and many in the bathtub. The sheets had so many pullbacks it felt like laying on a bed of Sandy nails, no joke. That was bad enough, but the worst part of our 2 hour stay was the noise that we couldn’t sleep through even with a sound machine turned on on our phones in a desperate attempt to sleep through the night. After 5 times of waking up from someone’s tv blaring and people moving around above, grouchy as heck and with no solution from the front desk, we had to check out, bleary eyed and exhausted. Caused arguments between married couple! :(For $ 70 this was no deal. Took forever to get our money back.

This is a nicer motel 6 double bed clean sheets fluffy pillows 32″ tv clean shower paid $ 63 for a night. Having a great stay. And you don’t get that creepy vibe while your walking to your room which is great!

Not as bad as I thought it was be after reading the reviews. We got the newer room that were updated and above the office. It’s right off the exit and 30 mins from Bradenton beach and 45mins to Siesta keys not to bad for the price you pay. It’s near alots of restaurants and a Walmart.

Remodeled but also kinda falling apart. Bathroom door was literally breaking, wouldn’t shut without force and hard to reopen, part of the wood was coming off and getting jammed. No extra amenities. Inexpensive but might be worth spending a little more $. Thin walls, heard domestic dispute through the adjoining door, a bit disconcerting. Room had a faint mold smell, like old wet towels. Wouldn’t consider staying with a Motel 6 again for more than one night.
