Shear Rituals Salon and Beauty Bar

I went there today as I needed emergency root touch up on my grays. I called around and was pleasantly surprised at their price of $ 45. Others quoted 60 and up. Once I got there I confirmed that it was 45. As I’m being colored the hairdresser said «you have a lot of hair .I didn’t mix enough I have to mix some more «I didn’t think anything of it and she didn’t say this is going to cost more. Mind you I have a chin length bob and only getting roots done. Then she asked if I wanted to have a blow dry while coloring my hair. Um no I think I should walk out of here with sopping wet hair! I asked if this was not included in the service and she said no it will be 20 $ extra. When I checked out the bill came to 100 $ for a root touch up and a gloss !! None of this was explained to me when I called nor even when I was in chair. I asked «let me get this straight you want me to pay 15 $ for your hairdressers inability to mix up enough dye for my hair ??? Typical bait and switch !!! Service was ok but I really felt they should have explained pricing before I started. When I have coloring services done in NJ orNY it’s one price full service ! I really didn’t feel like tipping but didn’t want the hairdresser who did the work to suffer. Less than honest.

I love this salon. I have not been able to say this about a hair salon for years. My hair color is the best it has ever been. Highly recommended you give them a try. You won’t regret it.

My Aunt Margie was having a hair emergency and we found Shear Rituals based on Unilocal reviews. Kris was able to fit her in within a couple of days. Everyone in the salon was friendly and very sympathetic to her problem. She was afraid her hair was so damaged that she’d have to have it cut super short and not be able to get it colored. However, thanks to Kris’s expertise, she got a beautiful new color, an amazing cut, and a keratin treatment to repair the damage. We’d recommend Shear Rituals and Kris to anyone in need of a great stylist. Kris is a magician, not a beautician!

While in town, this is my wife’s Salon of choice. They are always willing to accommodate, most times on fairly short notice.

I see that Mark has a number of good reviews… great, in fact. I will add mine to that list. I booked the day of and they found time for my 8 year old daughter. Mark and the gal who greeted us were both friendly and professional. I told him that my daughter’s previous cuts were always just that… cuts. No one has given her a style and the kid has really great hair. I have taken her to a bunch of salons in the SRQ area and in NYC too, where we used to live. Mark exceeded any hope I had for a great style. He gave my daughter a gorgeous haircut, the best ever. He is awesome, his talent is super and we will not go anywhere else from this day on. I look forward to Mark doing my hair in the future. I have very fine hair and a few extensions. I’m excited to see what he can do for me. Thanks Mark and crew. I can’t say enough how much we love my daughter’s hair!

Mark is the most accommodating, detail oriented, color infusion master I have ever seen! I just moved here from Wisconsin and chose Shear Rituals based on Unilocal alone. It took me a week to decide but ultimately I did for a variety of reasons. I could not be more happy with the outcome. Not only was Mark extremely qualified and professional, he was also funny, witty and interesting to talk to. In my experience, that’s rare! I highly recommend this salon to all — unless that means I will have a hard time getting an appointment!

Just returned from a shampoo, cut and blow dry. Mark is such a professional and a true artist. Go see Mark or Matt. They make you feel so welcome and the salon is beautiful. I have found my hair professionals in Bradenton. One of my biggest concerns about relocating was finding a salon I love. Looking forward to every haircut, now.

I had the same hair stylist most of my life, once I moved away to college and then again to Florida I realized how blessed I had been to have someone I not only enjoyed talking with but who did awesome work.
I’m am beyond excited to say I have once again after searching quite a bit, found that with Matthew’s and Mark at Shear Rituals. I have been a client of Matthew’s for two years and couldn’t be happier for this new salon to be open so close to my home. Matthew and Mark not only do great work but are a pleasure to talk with, I truly enjoy my appointments and look forward to visiting with such great guys.

I wont take my kids to anyone else. Mark is so patient with them, He engages them in conversation and just makes it fun, and of course the hair always looks great when hes done with it. Great atmosphere and very inviting.

Mark is an ARTIST! Loved the Salon, beautiful, comfortable and welcoming! Mark did my extensions and made them blend with my hair so well you can’t even tell they are extensions! I went to Mark for a haircut and the Brazilian Blowout… now that I have been home for a few days and washed it myself, I am truly amazed! It is so nice to just be able to blowdry my hair and have it silky smooth without having to spend time using a straightener in the morning and I’ve already gotten so many compliments! He was very friendly and talkative throughout my session to make me feel comfortable. The facility itself is extremely clean and adorably decorated!

Matthew has been doing my hair for the last year that I’ve lived in Florida. If I have a hair cut or style in mind, he makes it look even better than I thought possible by putting his own personal touch on it. I’ve honestly had more compliments on my hair in these last few months than I have probably in my whole life. I’ve never had the pleasure of Mark as my stylist but I have seen his work first-​hand and it is very impressive. Not only are Mark and Matt talented professionals, they are also genuine and kind in every way. I highly recommend Shear Rituals and will never go anywhere else!
