Came here for drinks this evening and was not disappointed at all. With it being taco Tuesday, they had certain beers on special, including Corona, which made me very happy. The taco specials were well worth it, cheaper than Taco Bell, not to mention bigger. I had a cup of their French onion soup and it was to die for, best I’ve had in a long time. The bartender was really nice and we received our food pretty quickly. Definitely makes up for the things the motel is lacking in.

Have been to this place several times, food has always been just ok… My wife and kids like going here for the pretzel bites but those days have come to an end… I must start off by saying it had been awhile since the last time we had went to Oliver’s. So after long discussion with the family they had talked me into going for dinner last night. We sat down and ordered the usual pretzel bites and ordered their cheese dip, and also submitted our dinner order at the same time. I was going to get a blt, but chose to order the tenderloin instead. After a bit of time our dinner was delivered and I proceeded to eat my sandwich, a great size tenderloin I must say, after a few bites I decided to cut my sandwich in half and continued to eat it… Then I thought something tasted funny, I looked down and realized that the sand which was raw in the center… And when I say raw, I mean red not pink… Which means that they are cooking frozen tenderloins, and managed to cook it partially. Now in my eyes there are two really bad things a restaurant can serve to a customer … 1– undercooked or raw chicken, 2– undercooked or raw pork. I spoke to the waitress about it and she took it to the back and came out and told me that they were going to take it off my bill, then proceeded to ask me if I wanted something else. No manager came out to apologize, no cook came out to apologize, I mean it’s not like it was over cooked fries or a burnt burger, it was raw food. Myself and family will never return to this establishment, period

We’ve been to Oliver’s twice in the last week and it’s quickly becoming my favorite restaurant in the area. All of the food I’ve tried(with exception to the queso dip, which is only okay) has been exceptionally good — so much so that I’ve actually been taken aback. I used to frequent this place in my partying days for $ 4.00 Martini Thursdays but never actually tried the food. Of all the food items I’ve ordered so far, the baked mac & cheese has been the best. It oozes with cheesy goodness and could hold it’s own against the«best mac and cheese ever» at Mindy’s Hot Chocolate in Chicago. This one is definitely a close 2nd for the highly coveted title. We originally checked this place out as craft beer is hard to come by in this rinky-dink town. Oliver’s has a handful, which is a «handful» more than every other bar and restaurant in the area. The thing I like the most about this place is the type of people here is always different each time you come. This is solely due to the fact that it’s located in a hotel. Last time it was a bit of an older crowd just chilling watching the game, last night it was more of a partying crowd. You never know what to expect and I like that. Service was excellent last night and I appreciated how attentive our waitress was. However, last time wasn’t as good since we were in a hurry to catch a movie and she kinda disappeared when we wanted our check.
