White Castle

This occasion deserves 5 stars for speed. Went inside after the Blackhawks game to pee and order cause the drive thru was very busy, no one in line inside, got our food within 5 mins. No complaints !

We loved it! Boys always eat the frozen kind since there are no White Castles near us. They enjoyed the fries and onion rings and said it was exactly like the frozen, in a GOOD way! Very consistent product!

We hit a couple of White Castles as we traveled through Illinois We come here for one thing: Fish Nibblers. We don’t have WC where we live, just Krystal. And Krystal doesn’t have Fish Nibblers. So we make a point of going to WC when we travel. A little salt is all you need to make the food here come alive. If Krystal can make a reasonable copy, I’ll be very happy!

This is the White Castle to go to if you’re from the Peoria area. Obviously White Castle ain making a location here before I pass away. Avoid the Chicago suburb ones for crime reasons. The service at this one was good for after midnight. I had 18 sliders cooked to perfection. I plan to go back but when you dump $ 20 in gas getting there and back it won’t be as often as I’d like.

I may be the only person that doesn’t have cravings for White Castle. Nonetheless, the mister was wasted Saturday night and begged me to stop and get him some sliders. He first asked me for a crave case, but knowing that he would hate me in the morning if I let him eat 20 burgers, I only got him 5, some fries and chicken rings. I decided to get 2 jalapeño burgers because those are the only ones I can stomach.
The quality has gone downhill from the last time I ate here. These burgers were so blah. Even my falling-​over-​drunk husband thought they sucked, which is saying something. I don’t think Harold and Kumar’s movie would be made if they tried these pieces of garbage.

Love Love Love White Castle Burgers. Once you’ve had them you wont want to stop eating them. The prices are fair. And there are choices like: fish, chicken rings, onion rings, jalapeño burgers… I could go on & on & on.
Quick fast on the go meal.
When in the area, I’ll be a frequent flyer.
The White Castle seems cleaner than some others. Friendly staff. Ample parking. Clean restroom.

3 stars for the clean bathrooms, toilet seat covers, and automatic flushing toilets. this is a rarity in illinois.
1 star for the weird patties, soggy bread, but decent coffee.

I was sitting in the hotel I was staying at watching the football game and drinking Old Style tall cans. I started to get hungry so I went over to this local White Castle for eight sliders and some fries. I brought them into my room looking like a pervert with a dirty magazine. I opened the sack, brought out the burgers and Man they tasted fine going down.
About 3 am, the White Castle Curse hit me. I began farting and didn’t stop farting until noon the next day. One major blast split the back of my pants and knocked a flock of sparrows out of a nearby shrub. I was amazed my body could produce this much gas, I bet I put a pretty healthy dent in the ozone layer.

I’ve probably been here 7 – 8 times in the last 6 months. I don’t get anything special. Just cheeseburgers and cheese fries but the food has always been good, hot and the drive through service has been good and my order correct. It’s a good White Castle from what I can tell. And after living somewhere that didn’t have this restaurant for the last 9 years I’m enjoying it.

Two stars only because its not the foods fault that people at this location don’t know, how to be DIVERSITY friendly, or warm food.
Its about 2 – 3 am, last Saturday, picking up some food after a long drive down here to drop off a friend. Decided on some jalapeño cheese burgers and some chicken rings. Shot through the drive-​thru, just one car ahead, not very busy at all. Paid the cashier, she said, please hold on a few minutes while we warm up some more burgers.
Another employee comes to the window, (the window doors are closed) she looks into our car, we can hear her talking, she is telling her co-​workers, «look at these guys, where’d they come from? and what are they doing, looking in here?!»
Naturally If I see a person looking back at me, I smile, like, «Why are you looking at me? can I help you?»
She opens the windows and blurts, showing her hands in a shooing motion, «Ok, you’ve seen enough, not get out of here. Whats wrong with you people, peeking in windows? shoo now, go away»
My friend who was the driver, korean guy, both of us, dressed pretty fcukin awesome, it is a Saturday night, we don’t look drunk, we aren’t driving a crummy car.
We both hold our tongues, we haven’t gotten our food yet, if I curse her out, we may have to eat spit and urine stained cheeseburger all the way home.
Of course we drop the smiles, he says kindly «we were waiting for our food.» Then this chick says. «oh». «well, I didn’t know. «doesn’t apologize for being rude. Then points to me and says, «why are you sitting there like that! Mr grouch, whats wrong with you, you can’t smile?!»
We probably should’ve asked for a refund and just hit the Steak and Shake further down the road. But, you know, waiting for almost 15 minutes, just to get a refund and wait possibly another 20 – 25 minutes at Steak and Shake at that time in the AM, it fcukin sucks.
We aren’t the only asian people that have complained about shitty service at this location. Maybe they should setup some diversity classes for these people, so they understand that there are people of other colors.
Oh yea. the chicken rings were warm and good. However, the 10 jalapeño cheeseburgers — 6 were cold, probably from sitting in the bag waiting for the other 4 to be warmed.
Yes, I did call White Castle’s contact line to compliment the fantastic service.
This was the worst visit of three. The other two were bad, but not as.
