I bought a Groupon to this salon a few months ago and although I don’t like writing bad reviews, I find myself still thinking about the bad experience I had and feel I should share. First off, as soon as I walked in I realized the place looked very dirty and run down and reeked of cigarette smoke. Megan, who cut my hair was probably the most unfriendly hair stylist I’ve ever had, I assumed she has having a bad day but looking back her attitude was really just unacceptable. She washed my hair so roughly that I had tears coming out of my eyes, I was thinking to myself the whole time that she had to have been pulling my hair on purpose, that’s how blatant it was. I also almost had tears when she brushed/blew out my hair, it was like she was taking all of her frustration in life out on my hair. I couldn’t wait for my appointment to be over. I didn’t hate the end product but she did chop my front layers pretty short and uneven, at my next hair appointment at a new salon, the stylist mentioned that my front layers didn’t blend well with the rest of my hair. I wish I had said something to her at the time, but I’m glad I at least know never to go back.

My former stylist moved away a few months ago and I’ve been shopping around for a new one. Groupon highlights, cut and style today with Meghan based on previous Unilocal reviews. She’s great! Salon is clean, bright, and nicely decorated. I already scheduled my next appointment in 6 weeks and look forward to returning. I highly recommend Meghan and Salon D’Alessandro!

I bought a groupon for this place last month. My appointment was with Meghan. She cut, colored and blow dried my hair. I am very pleased with the results, especially the color. I would definitely go there again.

I started going to this salon based on recommendation by a friend. my previous hair dresser was. out of comission. The salon is very clean and bright. Friendly atmosphere and seems very much like a neighborhood-type business. The hairdressers having conversations with the clients sound like they’ve known each other for years(as i did with my previous one). I first saw Megan mid-summer 2014 and have stuck with her ever since. I’ve never been one to really keep up on my hair and do the required maintenance for coloring, but I certainly have been doing so since going to Megan. She’s incredibly friendly and accomodating, willing to maneuver her schedule for me if necessary. She is also very honest about color/cut etc. I’ve been trying to grow my hair longer and she works with me on that, keeping it honest as to whether it’s time to trim or if I can wait another 6 weeks. The prices are definitely manageable. The one major drawback for me is that they don’t accept debit/credit cards. I write checks each time I go because I never seem to remember to bring enough cash. I hate writing checks however because I inevitably forget that they are out there waiting to come out of my account haha.

I bought a deal off Groupon for a haircut, blow-dry and style. I guess you get what you pay for. When I walked in, I was not greeted by any one at all. The person sitting at the desk in the front just looked at me until I gave her my name and time of appointment. My stylist was Megan, she seem nice but she didn’t say much to me at all. She did an okay job on my hair-cut but she did not do a good job on my blow dry. I left the salon with my hair all puffed up in the front so I was not happy at all, I asked her if there’s anything she can do do straighten the front a little bit and her response was«Not really.» Well… actually you could have used a hair straightener. It was just an overall awkward service. The clientele seems to be more of an older clientele. Basically, don’t come here if you have thick or curly hair. or don’t come here unless you have anything but straight thin hair.

I have been to several different hair salon and have left disappointed! I am so very pleased to say that I bought a groupon for this salon on a chance I might find someone amazing! And that is just what I did! Erin was fantastic, from the consultation till the very end! My haircut came out fabulous! I am so excited to have finally found a salon that not only listens to their clients but delivers excellent service with am amazing end result! Thanks Erin!

Not sure why there aren’t any great reviews here yet but I looove my highlights. I used a groupon and got partial foil, cut, blowdry and Erin did an awesome job. Did not skimp on the number of foils and lightened my dark asian thick hair to a non brassy blonde color that didn’t need a toner. I’m a lot lighter than expected because other places usually are afraid of lightening too much to the point where my ends break but it didn’t at all when Erin highlighted it. Very friendly and place was very nice and clean. Definitely coming back to Erin in a month or two.

I’ve been coming to this salon since 2004 and have never had a bad experience. Sue is awesum! I was a highlighterd blonde for years prior to finding this salon and felt«washed out» and was in desperate need of a change. Sue suggested that I let her ad red/copper tones and what a difference it made. I get compliments all the time, most people think it’s my natural color. It took me years to find a salon this good.

My entire family has been going to Salon D’Allesandro for years, first in Milton and now in Braintree. Its new location is beautiful, with the same veteran stylists behind the chairs. I can’t say enough about their expertise, with men and women, children and teens. If not for them, I would have to wear my fright wig to work every day! Thank you Terry and staff!
