this used to be a great place to have work done. my last experience was horrible and I think they were trying to take advantage of an old man. they did a brake job on my auto and two days later they advised me that all of my brake lines needed to be replaced along with coolant lines totaling 4,333.00 dollars. How did they let it out of the shop with so many unsafe items that needed attention? I have since seen another repair facility who sees no problem. needless to say that they will not have me darken their doorstep again.

Sent my wife to get an inspection sticker today. First of all they told her it would be $ 39. Bad start. According to the MA RMV, «The cost of the test is among the lowest in the nation for this type of program. The Mass Vehicle Check will continue to cost $ 35 annually.»
After waiting for an hour, they came out an told her they wouldn’t inspect it because the license plate was «faded». This plate is less than 10 years old, is in normal condition for its age, and each letter and number is completely covered in the red font. Sounds like this business was too busy for the $ 35…I mean $ 39 job. I sent her to another location (non-​Sullivan Tire), and she got a passing inspection sticker in less than 15 minutes.

I will not be taking my car anywhere else for regular service. This place is great.
I called on Monday for an oil change and inspection sticker. I said I would like to drop the vehicle when they open at 7:00AM on Tuesday and get a ride to work from the courtesy van. I explained that I would need the my vehicle back at noon. They said «Sure. We will see you tomorrow morning.»
I dropped off my car and the courtesy van was already out front to take me to work. The driver was courteous and the van was clean and warm (it was about 0 degrees that morning) He even asked if he could pick me up at noon. This is not necessary but it says a lot about the service they provide.
I got a call at 10:30AM informing me my vehicle was ready. I showed up, paid and was handed my keys. No up sell, no hidden fees, no BS. Everyone I dealt with was professional and friendly.
I had a great experience here and will be returning.

«Integrity» is the not the first word people associate with most auto mechanics. Here at this Sullivan Tire on Ivory Street in Braintree, MA, the mechanics and front office staff have ample amounts. We’ve taken our aging 2001 Chevy Caviler on several occasions. They have done top-​notch service on a car most mechanics might have given up on years ago and for a very fair price. What makes them stand out from the rest is the integrity they showed when they broke part of the dashboard ribbon façade while trying to diagnose an electrical problem. They admitted to breaking the façade, showed me where it was broken, ordered and installed a replacement part without asking for any fee. I trust them 110% with the mechanical repairs they have done with this car and would recommend them to anyone I know.

Had to go back to this place a few times, the prices are fair at least compared to the monetary rape that comes from dealerships. I will do anything in my power to avoid dealing with dealership shops so this place seems to be my go to. Time wise it’s somewhat better than most and the service is very friendly.

I was very happy with the visit. These guys were professional and they did the work that I asked them to do without all of the upsell crap! I’m always leery of going to any of the tire or lube places to get anything done because they always try to upsell you when you just need something simple done. The guy who attended to me was prompt and professional, the technician was thorough (the car does feel like it drives better) and the work was fairly quick, even with a small complication. I’m planning to replace all of the tires on the truck in the first part of next year and I will definitely come back to Sullivan Tire in Braintree.
