I was here to purchase a set for my dad as a Christmas gift and one of the men working there(looked like he was in his 40s/50s) was beyond rude and extremely unhelpful. I left without making a purchase because he looked like he couldn’t be bothered.

Good store but I’ve gotten into cheaper shaving creams. Kinda pricey.

I went here to buy my brother a Christmas gift. After I bought a shaving kit, I found out he uses an electric razor, so I decided to return it. Turns out, when returning it, the manager discovered I was overcharged by whomever sold me the kit by $ 25. He was extremely concerned and apologetic because it appeared intentional. Safe to say I won’t ever go back since there’s nothing more that pisses me off then being scammed and upsold.

$ 175 for a chrome handled Gillette razor? No thanks, Why pay $ 300 for one of these straight razors when I can get one from the 40s with some historical value to it for $ 50 – 60. This store, I believe, is aimed more towards the hipster douche clientele.

Great store, located in the South Shore Plaza in the old Lindt Chocolate space,(Oh, how I miss you Lindt Chocolates) nice & clean & knowledgeable staff, but so way overpriced! They were selling a Gillette Mach 3-(the battery operated one) for $ 100.00 because it had a better handle than the ones you find at any mass retailer for $ 20.00. They have a beautiful chair for shaving in the store, so you would think they might actually do Straight razor shaving on the premises… Yeah, No. It is just for show.

Great store. Very helpful store clerk. I went in to this store to purchase a gift for my brother in law. I told her my budget up front and she was very good at helping me put together a nice gift within my range. She was also very knowledgeable about the products and could answer every question I had. She went above and beyond, she looked up stores near my brother-in-law’s location and made some good suggestions. Overall great experience here. Thanks.

If you’re a guy who shaves with a stick razor, do your goddamn face a favor and buy a shaving kit from here. You don’t even need their single-bladed razors; just the shaving kit. I’m not going to lie; I thought the whole«badger fur brush» and«pre-shave oil» thing were a gimmick, as well as the single-blade razors. I did, however, like the idea of using real shaving cream as the Gillette gel stuff still leaves me tearing the shit out of my face(as do the foam shaving creams from other companies). I asked for one of these kits for my birthday and received the shaving cream, pre-shave, and after-shave with no razor. I expected anything to be better really, so why not something fancy? Even with my five-bladed Gillette razor, the difference was phenomenal. I’ve always had issues with either nicks, razor burn, and/or those little red bumps you get a day or two after you shave.(They’re not razor bumps in the classic sense, but rather the spawning of tiny white-heads.) For the first time since I’ve been shaving, they’ve all become a non-issue and have gone away. The kit might seem like a lot of money, but you’re really getting a lot. Conservative amounts of their products really do go a VERY long way(e.g., one or two presses of the after-shave is enough for your entire face). Summary: Their product — in dealing with pre-shave, shaving cream, and after-shave — really does work, and work well. The salesmen are extremely helpful and aren’t going to shark you for a sale. They’ll take the time to explain to you how everything works. Also, you don’t need to get the fancy brush. The machine-cut works just fine.

The ultimate store for men. If you ever have been inside one of these places, it is pretty classy. There used to be one in the Natick Mall, but it closed due to lack of traffic. This location seems more promising. High end shaving gear may seem a little extravagant but why not? Most mens blade razors are cheap and tear your face apart leaving red scratches and rashes. This place not only sells high end razors that fit regular blades but also has some very nice creams, lotions and oils to soften the face and make the shave more comfortable and easy. They are set up in the store to demonstrate(I hear the Burlington location has a Barber Shop inside) and show you the old style of shaving, bring back a little class into an everyday routine. The salesmen are very nice and helpful and not pushy. The products may be expensive but after using them, they are well worth it. This place would make great gifts for any man in the family. Worth a visit!
