Great staff! Fun energy! They had a buy one get one coupon on the Unilocal app! Fantastic Deal! My daughter and I had a wonderful time!

Used the Unilocal check-in here. The kids had fun and the price was right. The greens on the mini golf course we’re new and everything was clean. Not as fancy as Congo River but still good if you’re in the Brandon area

Everytime I have gone to this place the batting cages don’t work! Or only have one that is partly working. Then I get stuck with a bunch of coins that I never get to use!

Great place for a date night old fashion style. I love the Unilocal promotion just for checkin here as well. Enjoy your golfing!

Definitely the worst employees I’ve had to deal with. Don’t waste your money. Machines didn’t work and wouldn’t do anything about it while she sat in her chair and couldn’t even say have a good night as we were leaving.

Worst place ever, total rip off. Will not refund money when their equipment isn’t working right. Bought tokens for batting cages and 2 of the 3 softball cages were down. The only cage working was pitching too high. Employee refused to refund money and offered free mini golf instead. Who wants to play on that crappy course??? I just wanted my money back!!!

I belong to Ace Golf League, handicaps of all levels welcome. Inquire inside while checking out their new golf shop. They have everything you could possibly need. I also buy all my golf shoes at Ace, great prices. I have read some of the other reviews, regarding the grass… lots of ranges have well used areas but I feel it is GREAT practice. If you can hit off a challenging ground sometimes at practice, just think how well prepared you are on the course to hit off any ground conditions. Bonnie Plesco, Secretary, Ace Golf League

Cute driving range smack in the city. My daughter took golf lessons here with PGA instructor Doug. She learned a lot and had a lot of fun– especially winning in the kids putting contest at the end of sessions.

Four reasons: Poor training! In order to redeem the Unilocal check in coupon the cashier said I had to print it. How? Why even advertise on Unilocal if you aren’t going to train how to honor a coupon. Torn up putt putt course. I took my daughter here for her first putt putt experience and don’t recall the number of times she tripped on loose turf. Oh, and forget the rough… that first time your ball lands in the concrete pit is where it’s at! Dirty putt putt course. Twigs, rocks, filled trash and cigarette buckets, mold on the plaster kids objects. Yuck… The price, holy cow! Has it been that long since I’ve played putt putt? $ 7.50 for that dirty course was very unappealing. I almost gave it 2 stars because my daughter was free(and in reality made the whole event cheap) but nonetheless… I cannot speak for the batting cages or driving area. The cages looked ok. The lady who couldn’t swing the clubs was comical. :)

For the price this is a great place. I usually do the batting cages, at 84 pitches for $ 5 this is the cheapest option in all of Tampa. The place is a little run down, the netting in the cages is sagging, the pitching reloader gets jammed when too many people are playing, and one of the cages likes to stop working all of a sudden. The mini golf course is very run down. If the company would keep up with general repairs I think they attract many more people. Regardless I absolutely love this place!!!

Avoid the grass tees on the range at all costs!!! I’m not one for turf tees as I like the more authentic feel of grass… but the grass here(left side) is an absolute joke. The ground is so uneven that it feels like you’re walking on a WWII crater field. There are odd numbers that are more even. Additionally, you’re basically hitting off of a sandtrap. I can handle a range with a bunch of divots because at least you’re still hitting off of solid ground. But even balls struck well had the most bizarre flight path and hollow sound. Part of this may be ball quality as well but I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and say it was the beachfront you had to hit off of. I’ll definitely play from the turf tees next time. I plan on coming back, for sure, but right now I kind of feel like I just wasted $ 7 hitting balls from the dunes.

Pretty average driving range. The prices are a little bit higher than others in the Tampa area but it’s around the corner from work. Never seems to be too busy later in the afternoon because it’s so hot. Haven’t tried the batting cages or mini-golf.

The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because it is the only place that has a golf range with putt-putt golf and batting cages. Everything is just ok. The range has made some improvements with the covering in the grass but the batting cages still through 80%of the balls out of the strike zone. It is the little things that count sometimes and that is where they are missing.

Went on a slightly drizzle-y night. Don’t know whether that’s why, but the place felt desserted. There were only around 6 of us at 9pm. Which is actually a good thing for a beginner golfer. You can buy stored value cards for tokens for the balls, and like most places, the more stored value you buy up-front, the more bonus value you get. Concrete on some of the lanes at either end are sloping, so that’s crappy for trying to adopt the right stance, making sure the ball doesn’t roll away, etc. 100 balls for USD9.50 is expensive compared to where I come from(Asia), but am not sure that it’s like compared to other places in Tampa.

Why 3 stars? Because the batting cage is the best I’ve found. — — — Best I’ve found… but only 3 stars? Why, you ask, inquiring Unilocaler? Because while it is my favorite option for a slow-pitch softball batting cage, there are still many flaws. 1) For slow pitch, these balls are much faster than you’d ever see in a game. Not complaining that they’re too fast to hit, just that they’re fast enough to mess with your timing, compared to an actual game. 2) The cages are too narrow. There’s nothin’ sweeter than swinging and hitting the net or the coin machine on your follow through. Now… why are these the best cages I’ve found? As long as it’s not raining, they actually recycle the balls much better than at a place like Malibu Grand Prix. You can head here with 5 friends for batting practice, and the balls aren’t just going to stop coming after a while. The pitches are the most consistent here, as well. This is a small sample of what Ace Golf is about, but I think I kind of refuse to actually golf until I’m too old to play other sports. And now… is not that time. So until then, I know nothing about Ace Golf’s… golf.
