Modern Nails

Walked in on a Sunday afternoon and they immediately greeted me. Staff was so incredibly friendly and accommodating. They took great care of me the whole time and did such beautiful work! Their prices are very reasonable. Love my design. I will definitely be back!!!

Andy does great pedicures– and all of the people that work there are very nice! Very relaxing and clean environment.

Just relocated to the area and need a go-​to place. I came here for a gel nail manicure/​polish. Color usually lasts 2 weeks for me, here it was cracking and chipping within a week. The waxing area was also dirty. There is something nasty about laying your head on a towel with other people’s hair on it. The lady who completed the services was pleasant, she just wasnt highly skilled.

I came to modern nails due to the good reviews but walked out upset!
First off four people walked in after me and unfortunately I was the last seated. I was instructed to pick out a color but the selection was slim compared to Busy Nails and surrounding salons.
Once seated I asked the nail tech if he was able to shape my nails like the picture I showed him. Apparently I pissed him off with the question because he got an attitude and made a slick comment. At that point I walked out because I didn’t feel like dealing with sucky customer service. This rating is not based on their work but solely on their customer service!

Did not have a good experience. I ended up with crooked, oddly shaped nails. When I showed him where a couple seemed a bit crooked, he told me my finger is crooked. I proceeded to point out you could see the corner of my natural nail sticking out because it was glued crooked. He then started sawing away at my nail, making me bleed quite a bit as he muttered things quietly to another staff member. After that he refused to finish my nails. He had another lady paint them. I asked initially if they could do nail art and he told me yes, anything I show them. I asked if they had nail gems of any sort, no. So instead I asked if he could paint bows on just 2. He said yes. Well the chick that painted them could not. They looked like black boxes on my nails. I don’t know why I tipped. I went home and removed the polish, reshaped them as best as I could and repainted them. Not going back.

I am surprised I finally found a place that can actually do nails. I use to get my nails done every two weeks until I moved. I couldn’t find a nail place that did a good job and wasn’t overpriced until I went to modern nails. The price was right and the service was great. Everyone was so friendly and made sure I was satisfied with everything. This will be my permanent nail place from now on.

Did an awesome job on my nails and at a good price. They redid what another salon did just a couple days earlier for me which was gel with French tips to keep my own nails from breaking. I’ll never go anywhere else. He was very meticulous and proud of his work and it showed.

I’ve never made an appointment but am usually helped right away when I walk in. The staff is friendly and I always walk out with beautiful nails. The store is always clean and tidy. I usually get gel nails and they have an extensive color selection. This is my favorite nail place to go to, and I’ll keep coming back. They have gift certificates available and their pricing is very reasonable. They keep me coming back!

My nails are beautiful, the design was well done, the people were friendly, and it was pretty cheap ($ 30 for cut down, acrylic fill, gel polish).
But they absolutely butchered my cuticles. The very first nail, she cut me with the dremel so bad that after 10 min of bleeding they finally put the green gel that burns on it and it quit. I was passed on to someone else who apologized profusely and said «no more pain, promise». Well, he burnt me many times, almost every nail I was yanking my fingers away, I got 3 more knicks, and my cuticles are red and sore today. I’ve been getting my nails done at various places, for 15 years, and never had this happen so much. I’ve also never complained, but this was bad.

The service I received overall was great. I was a little upset that the pedicurist wasn’t paying attention while buffing my toes & caused a cut. I do understand accidents happen. She did take care of the situation professionally. Also, she was very thorough with my mani & shellac. A week later. My nail & toes still look great! I will definitely go back!

Amazing nail salon! I came in for Shellac gel polish and needed one nail fixed that was breaking off. They told me it was not a problem! Mind you today is the day before Thanksgiving. They were more than kind and available to do my polish change for ONLY $ 15! I’m speechless. Q did such a good job; my nails actually look like I have a set of false nails on. Great location, lots of parking, clean and nice on the inside and wonderful service!
I would definitely reccomend this place to anyone, but just like anywhere else– call ahead to make sure a nail tech is free if you’re in a rush (like me!)

I have been going here about 6 months. I was in a hurry one time and got my nails done locally — then I remembered why I go to Modern Nails — great service and great end results. I have had both pedicures and manicures here and love the quality of the service on a fill in and my pedicures. Have recommended and will continue to recommend.

Great place! Found it on Unilocal since I was in the area. This is going to be my new favorite spot. My nails and feet feel amazing. My friends loved her services as well. Compared to the place closer to my house the prices here are much better. I see myself coming back over and over again.

Horrible. Cut my cuticles. they were in such a hurry, and rough, I changed my mind on the pedi I had told them I wanted and just got a fill. I will never go back here, and if I were you I’d choose another salon out of the million choices.

This is my favorite place in town. Andy and the whole staff are perfectionists and I have never been disappointed. I was looking for a new place for pedicures and I’ve found it! I’ve been going for about a year now and I’m still as happy each time as the first. I have never once left disappointed. Last time I tried the gelish nail polish too. It’s been 3 weeks and my nails have grown out, but not chipped or worn. Love this place!

Ok, they have made me a regular lol. Ken is the man, my perfectly manicured hands bow to him :-)
