1, 2 PDQ. I love me some PDQ! I have been to just about everyone in Tampa. Each location provides the same great service and the food is always fresh. However, I have noticed that I have frequented this location at least 5 times within the past month. I don’t like Brandon too much because of the traffic, but I sike myself out when I go because I justify that I can go to PDQ since I’m in the area. Hey, that’s a good reason. How sad. I blame PDQ for the $ 5 chicken tender special after 7pm. I’m sure I’ll be back soon if I’m in the area.

One of the best PDQ locations! Super clean, fast service and e we gone is friendly. I personally like that they have different options of iced tea from Joffrey’s and they carry Splenda! No one serves Splenda in town.
I try to eat a little healthier here so my favorites: Grilled Chicken Sandwich or the Grilled Chicken Tenders. Like that they carry apple slices and my NEW favorite is Zucchini Fries with the creamy garlic sauce! On point!
Great lunch spot with TVs and outside patio. Enjoy!

First time here today. Chicken is good, but rather pricey overall with rather limited salad choices.

The best white meat chicken tenders I have had. The food is always fresh and made to order. The sauces are excellent and compliment the chicken. If you get a combo you can substitute the French fries for another tender at no extra cost.

When I went to PDQ I noticed they had a military discount on Mondays. This discount is huge. You get 50% off anything on the menu but it has to be the first Monday of the month. Every time I have gone to this PDQ the service has been excellent and the chicken strips have been amazing. The quality, value, service, and cleanliness of this restaurant are all five stars.

The food is great. But I have to give it a 2 star rating mainly because if the employees who take the orders at the drive through window. Last week it was a young black female. The way she spoke and her body language made it seem like she was on drugs. Both times, two different days. Today we had Zachary. He got my total wrong and crumbled up my receipt. Again had the body language as if he was on drugs. I understand this isn’t a great review but screening employees before hiring is crucial. I will try PDQ again and if the employees seem under the influence or drugs I will take this to corporate. Not acceptable.

It’s good but even with their not so usual chicken sandwich restaurant menu the food never really wows me here. I’ve had a good array of the menu items and I always walk away satisfied but a little underwhelmed. Today I had the Cali Grilled Chicken Sandwich which has avocado and bacon, again good but nothing outstanding. I do love the look of the restaurant, its very clean and service is quick and friendly. I’ll keep coming back. I know people rave about the shakes here but I did not like the chocolate one I tried awhile back. It had a slick consistency that didn’t do it for me at all.

If you go around lunch time, expect to wait a bit, even in the drive-​thru. That’s honestly the only downfall. Other than that, I really enjoy this PDQ. The chicken always tastes fresh, not frozen. The chicken tenders almost melt in your mouth. The fries are those tick-​cut, homestyle fries which beats McDonald’s fries any day. And definitely try one of their milkshakes!

Extremely disappointed in my visit this past Tuesday.
I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich meal. The cashiers were friendly and quick. We got our drinks and sat down. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. After waiting almost 10 minutes, the manager let’s us and the others know that fresh fries were about to come up. Perfect. It still took a few minutes but eventually our food came out.
The problem with the wait is that I think they made my sandwich right after I placed my order, then it sat out while they waited on fries. It was cold and hard to chew. The fries were alright, nothing special. The manager did come over and check on us and we did let him know about the cold food. He did offer to replace the sandwich or give us a milkshake, which we did appreciate, but declined. I don’t like complaining and didn’t want to wait on another sandwich.
I will say the restaurant was very clean.

There’s really nothing special about this place that I’ve noticed in my 1^st 3 visits, other than the fried turkey sandwich — can’t order that too many places.
The fries are so-​so, soggy 5 minutes after I picked up my order. The chicken sandwich is good, but it’s not Chick-​fil-​A either.
All in all, given the choices in the area, I may return for the turkey sandwich but that’s about it. BTW, the drive through is a bit «weird» in that you first come up to a big menu sign but can’t order from there, you have to remember everything you want and then drive to the first window to place the order — I just don’t know why they do this?

Love this casual and fast restaurant concept. The ordering process and getting your food is quick. Every time I have visited this restaurant the food has been fresh and it rivals Chick-​Fil-​A in my books. Any restaurant that has one of the fountain drink machines where you can create your own concoction is already a winner in my books. My usual go to item are the chicken tenders, which I would say are the best part about this place!

my husband and I keep on coming back here! Its our 4^th time in the last 2 months (definitely wont be the last) and every visit is a treat! Best to go on a Sunday late afternoon to avoid the crowd. From the tenders, to the sandwiches and salads, oh and the very delish creamy garlic (cant help but ask for another one), to the friendly staff. We always leave with a happy tummy and heart!

The crispy chicken salad was excellent. The tenders could be a little warmer. However my order was ready in 3 minutes so I can’t complain. Over all it was very tasty with the Buffalo Bleu sauce.

Loved this place. Definitely worth an afternoon lunch.
Fries are a bit on the soggy side, but overall the Buffalo Chicken Tender Sandwich was delicious. Place is clean, new, not too crowded. Has outdoor seating. Cornhole game outside.
Overall a delicious experience. Wasn’t a fan of the blueberry coleslaw.

Went here for the first time ever NYD 2015. My boyfriend got the Buffalo Chicken Tender Sandwich & I got the Crispy Chicken Sandwich… both were AMAZING… lots of tender and juicy perfectly fried chicken! The homemade Ranch dressing was absolutely fabulous and the service super friendly & fast! Only complaint was the fries… not crispy or seasoned at all, will probably pass on the fries next time and get only a sandwich or some tenders.

Not really a fan at all. The best part about PDQ is their décor. It’s got a lot of clean lines and it looks great. That being said their food is just not good. My husband and I came here because we’d never been. The chicken is clearly fresh, but there is nothing special about it. The fries were really limp… not sure if that’s how they were supposed to be but they were. We also each had a milkshake. I had the cap’n crunch berries one and it wasn’t that good. I will say the service was pretty good, so thats a bonus. IMO go to Zaxby’s or Chic fil a the chicken, fries prices, and milkshakes are better.

We have been her multiple times since it opened. The lines are almost always short and the staff are always friendly. I usually go for the 3 – 4 piece chicken tender meal with fries and a drink. The chicken tenders were cooked to perfection! The fries are skinny but tasty! If you go get the ranch dressing for the fries and chicken… its AMAZING!
If you want to splurge and get a milkshake… the apple pie one is great!

I attended this Unilocal event this location in Brandon prior to its grand opening. Prior to this event I thought PDQ was just another chicken place. This event showed me how completely wrong I was.
We started with a tour of the facility from the front of the house to the back of the house. The tour began with an explanation of the concept and reason for the transition to the quick service restaurant format in the industry. We had the opportunity to meet the general manager of the Brandon location as well as managers from other locations and representatives from the corporate office.
The tour was very informative and I am glad that it was a part of the event. PDQ stands for People Dedicated to Quality and from my experience they truly are. Everything at this restaurant is FRESH, organic, preservative and hormone free. All of the items are made IN HOUSE. There is not even a freezer in the establishment. Let me repeat that NO FREEZER, nothing is ever frozen. We watched the staff prep everything from fresh squeezed lemonade to salads with all of the fixings, hand breaded chicken tenders, hand cut french fries and all of the condiments and sauces. Even the ice cream and bread is sourced and made especially for PDQ to assure that it aligns with their standards.
We were allowed to sample anything we wanted on the menu. I had to make sure my ears were not deceiving me but they were not, we were encouraged to try whatever we wanted. They knew how to make me a fan, didn’t they! I personally tried the spicy buffalo tenders sandwich with french fries, the grilled chicken salad, lemonade, the Cap ‘N Crunch Berries milkshake of the month, the Oreo milkshake and the oatmeal cranberry cookie.
Overall I enjoyed all of the food I tried. I would ask for my dressing on the side next time because I did not prefer the berry ginger dressing which accompanied it. I love french fries and these were pretty good, I especially loved that they were salted perfectly. Although I loved both shakes, the crunch berry feature was a nice surprise. The cookie was freshly baked and still soft, it was great treat for the end of the meal. I discovered several items which I would order again for sure on another visit.
After learning about their dedication to quality and they way its reflected in the food preparation, I would definitely recommend you give this place a try. I know I will be back cause this ain’t no regular ol’ chicken shack.

Love the food. Had one of their freshly made salads, strawberry milkshake and a macadamia oatmeal cranberry cookies. It really satisfied the sweet tooth. Delicious!!! If you’re by this location or any other one stop by and give them a try. I also love the fact that they use organic and all natural products. Their sauces are freshly made in house and not packaged.
