I arrived in Tampa after making an online reservation for the $ 1 move in and 15% monthly discount. Upon arrival at the scheduled time of my appointment to do paperwork, I was told I would have to wait. 30 minutes later, I was finally helped. I learned all about the unites and cost, and each time the lady mentioned the cost, it seemed to line up with the quote of 15% off I had reserved. However, when the time came to pay, AFTER she swiped my card, so showed me a new amount that did not include the 15% discount. My organizations would have a way to handle that quickly, but she said she could not do anything to add that discount that is offered, but I could talk to Stephanie, the call center, or Brian(District Manager). After talking with the first two and having no success(they only would say«no not possible»), I called Brian and left a message. Without hearing back for days, I called again, and left another message. I then receive a «courtesy call» from Public Storage saying I have a payment due, to which I explain the situation and am encouraged again, to call Brian. Frustrated, I oblige, but again, he is not there, and I leave a message. I would expect it to be easy to add a discount promised to new customers, but it seems like they don’t have it figured out. Only one person has the power to do so, and they are MIA. The property itself is in disrepair, and the people I have dealt with have been less than helpful. I will be taking my business elsewhere, ASAP.
