Teavana used to be an awesome company where the employees were very knowledgeable on the product. On my last visit I was bothered over and over again by an older women. I was in to shop for a present and the lady was in my face the whole time. Asking if I wanted to take home a gift set, after I told her no, I was looking to see what was new. She would ask questions, but wouldn’t give me any time to answer, making me question why she was even trying to help. But kept telling me what an awesome deal it was. I’ve been shopping at this location for years and I am very sad to say I will be doing my tea shopping online or elsewhere.

Brewing a perfect cup of tea has just become easier for me! I can’t say enough good things about Teavana’s Perfectea Maker System. It’s made from sturdy, BPA-free Tritan(Trademarked) Copolyester. The large clear brewing chamber provides an ideal environment for loose-leaf tea to unfurl and expand while it steeps, so it’s using the direct immersion method of brewing. It can be used to make hot or iced tea. My chamber brews 2 cups(or 16 ounces) of tea. Once your tea is steeped, you place the vessel directly over your cup, a release mechanism opens and dispenses your tea, then as you lift the chamber off your cup, it signals the automatic shut-off valve to stop the flow. It’s pretty cool. Teavana has other larger sizes if you so choose to brew more than 2 cups, but that’s the beauty of this system for me; I only wanted a small vessel. Teavana is based in Seattle, Washington. There are various other items you can purchase in-store or on-line, such as complete tea sets and/or cups, other unique gifts, and of course, loose leaf teas for healing everything from stress to nursing the common cold, to providing vitality! The one that fit my needs the best was the 16-ounce Perfectea Maker, which comes with a matching tray/coaster that it sits on. I managed to hit a sale, which also included an 8-ounce bag of their delicious Belgium sugar, and a choice of gold or grey airtight tin plated steel canister to keep your tea in. I got a bonus ticket that, when I peeled it open, revealed an additional 25% off any item in the store. I had already had my heart set on the stainless steel teaspoon that’s used for measuring either loose teas or the famous Belgian sugar, which had an original price at $ 3.95, so I used it for that. Their tea is very expensive, so I will likely find a gourmet tea store that is more reasonably-priced. To clean your unit, you simply discard the spent leaves, rinse the tea-maker, and allow it to air dry. The lid and stainless steel strainer can be removed and washed separately. Although the Perfectea Maker is top-rack dishwasher-safe, Teavana recommends hand-washing with a mild soap, and non-abrasive sponge. I do love my Perfectea Maker! It’s one of the best products I’ve seen in a long time. And it’s really just like its namesake: Perfect!

Interesting place. I had never been to a Teavana, so here is the synopsis for others in my situation. Teavana advertises«fresh, high quality tea», which roughly translates to really expensive. They sell tea. They will make you tea, or you can buy dry tea to make yourself, both for a rather steep price. They also sell dried fruits and spices to compliment the teas. They do have a huge selection, and the person working seemed to be very knowledgeable about tea. I drink a lot of tea, so I did buy a few ounces. If my calculations are correct, my mix comes out to about $ 1.50 to $ 2.00 per cup. That or $ 200 per cup, but I think it’s the first one. I’ll check my math. We’ll see how this stuff tastes, but as of right now, I don’t think I’ll go back at that price unless they are lacing it.

I never been to a tea place before so I stopped in and see what Teavana is all about and all I can say is wow just wow! The staff at Teavana at the Westfield Brandon mall are amazing they are really helpful with answers with the questions that I asked about certain teas they sale, tea makers, sugars and products to help make the tea taste so great. They offer many products for the customer or customers to choose and buy such as sugar, many different types of teas from black tea, oolong tea, white tea, green teas, herbal teas, rooibos tea, sugar, travel mugs and cups, tea makers, kettles, storage tins, honey, appliances, gift cards tea décor free samples to try! Which is great. The lady who helped me was extremely nice and help decide on what product will be the best for me since I am trying these type’s of tea products for the first time ever. You can say I am a starter in making tea but here is the thing I’m not new to the tea making but yes to the Teavana way’s of making tea I gotta start from some where. I’m a fan after tasting their tea the lady made for me it was tasteful and delicious!

Pretty standard Teavana in a shopping mall. I always like coming by when I’m shopping to try some teas and get something new. I always love the seasonal teas that they have. Although they sell loose leaf tea, I’ve always just gotten it hot or iced while I am there. Make sure to note the price categories that cover each tea, else you might find yourself with an expensive afternoon refreshment!

This is an interesting place, it’s a tea shop that’s in the middle of a mall and doesn’t have a place to sit and yet it has an amazing selection to choose from and educated and informed employees. In an age when most people expect their food or drink to be immediately available, it’s nice to see that this place takes their time and individually makes your tea. I recommend grabbing a cup of tea and taking a stroll as you people watch, this is definitely the place for it.

This is the 3rd time I’ve visited and I’ve been pleased each time. This time I helped myself, but generally I ask the advice of the people that work there. Last time I went, I was sick with a cold and I asked for a tea that would make me feel better, so they made me a hot wellness tea and added some honey — it was delicious. This time I’m trying the Snow Geisha tea to try and wake myself up a little bit. The menu explains itself pretty well and the associates are more than willing to help. I really enjoy this place, it truly speaks to my hippie heart.

I’ve always loved tea and finally started getting into loose leaf teas! The workers here always have great advice and recommendations! I love that they let you smell all the teas and have samples! It’s a little pricey, but the quality of the tea is superb and totally worth it! I’m addicted!

If there is a heaven on earth… this place is it for me! Best tea all around… you will never find better teas anywhere unless your picking the spices, herbs, plants, and fruits yourself everyday! I am seriously in love! ;)

Love the store and the ability to try all of the flavors. My teenage daughter is addicted to the most expensive tea in the store, of course. Poor me! We look forward to visiting and picking up something new each time we visit the mall.

This Teavana location converted me into being a loose leaf tea addict — I had no clue tea could taste this good! I’d been brainwashed by southern American culture into assuming that«Sweet Tea» was the peak of tea’s culinary potential. Listen up, South: Throw out your pantry of cheap Lipton bags, and head over to your nearest Teavana! Be sure to ask their staff what their favorite mixes of tea are, Teavana employees have plenty of time to think up some crazy flavor combinations during slow hours. Ask for Alan, he’s a really chill humadoo(sanskrit for«Tea Warrior»… maybe). My favorites: — To Life(a must-try) — Cacao Mint Black(favorite black tea, has a great hint of hazelnut) — Peppermint(Teavana’s got the best I’ve tasted!) — Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls(I call it «Jazzy Drag»)

Teavana has an interesting variety of teas and mixes up their free samples all the time, great to stop by at in the middle of some shopping at the Brandon Mall. Workers are usually really nice and know their flavors. You always see little kids who just finished playing around the mall getting some tea. They are friendly with their samples and give some to kids even though they know the kids probably won’t be purchasing any tea. They have a pretty diverse set of teaware/pottery as well if you’re into that.
