I have had lunch here many times. Yesterday I ordered a grill chicken sandwich with mayo, lettuce and tomatoes on a hard roll. The roll tasted like it was two day old bread. Quite disappointing.

Super filling fresh sandwiches, great menu choices. there is even many options for those vegetarians or gluten free. Husband and I each had a sandwich and we ended up asking for to go boxes because we could’t even finish them all in one sitting(which is not usually the case!)

Excellent place for a quick and relatively inexpensive breakfast — breakfast sandwiches are huge, tasty, and inexpensive. Not gourmet but love going here for bfast or brunch and best place I’ve found yet in Branford(having moved here this summer from Boston and as someone who loves good food).

@lola v I’m a fan of shoreline but cannot believe the hypocrisy(about being arrogant) of the below review — for example mentioning your 100,000 customers multiple times which has no relevance. Beyond that we don’t «celebrate» American soldier deaths, we remember and respect and honor them. And most importantly what they fight for — to allow«immigrants» to work hard, open a business and succeed, just as your ancestors did when they came here as immigrants. You have every right to write a ridiculous review just as the owner had to play music he likes in his restaurant. If he was rude I’m guessing there’s another side to the story that we weren’t privvy to in your remarks that brought it out. As for an actual review which has nothing to do with xenophobia, entitlement or elitism, refer to the others on this page. They have a nice and varied menu, charming atmosphere and a wicked salad bar. Don’t expect to be blown away but for a deli it’s pretty good. Service might not be perfect(you may even have to ask for your own napkins, oh the horror) but you’ll enjoy the food and be on your way which is what makes a good deli. Plus their homemade meatballs and desserts are petty good too. And so is the Mexican music.

LOML had to stay home while Batman went to work and nowhere better to have lunch on the road than The Shoreline. Great egg salad sandwich and fries, fresh salad bar and peanut butter cupcake… all delicious. This place is extremely clean and has wifi. What’s not to like for lunch?

ok. i went in here expecting not so much. its just a little deli/café down the street from the shop where my car was being worked on. someone at the garage suggested it, and i didnt know much else around here so i gave it a try. being vegetarian makes finding new places difficult, you scan the menu board looking for things that you can eat — maybe if they take off the bacon or chicken or something. but here at shoreline half the menu was breakfast — most of which i could eat, and the other half was more lunch-oriented and there was even a section of vegetarian choices. falafel, eggplant, a few other really good sounding options — i chose the usual simple grilled cheese and french fries and they were both really good and reasonably price i think it was about $ 6 for a sandwich fries and coffee. place is pretty small, setup with big display cases full of baked goods and salads. worth stopping in if you are in the area and looking for a simple deli type meal. quick and easy.

This location just changed hands and came back better and tastier. I went the other day and had a Turkey club, Yum! The new dining area and dsplay cases all were very well laid out with much more room for patrons than the previous establishment. I will go back to try something else soon!
