The food would be good, if they ever served it hot. Every time we eat at Cracker Barrel, the food is cold. Like, not been warmed up. Like they put it on a cold plate and let it sit out for 30 minutes before bringing it to the table.

After waiting 10 minutes to be seated we ordered our food. 20 minutes had gone by and some new people were seated beside us, they ordered. Our waitress came back out and said she threw the paper with our order on it away. I almost left but decided to order for a second time. The new people seated beside us received their food. Finally our food came out. It was delicious like always. At the end of it we waited an hour to eat. No manager came to apologize for the mishap and the waitress avoided us once she knew she messed up. Needless to say no tip was left.

This was my first time at a Cracker Barrel and I loved it. They had great biscuits! Good service. I wonder if their shop is very busy or if they can convert that space into more of the restaurant?

Always good food and service. If you’re craving home cooking without cooking it yourself this is the place to go!

The days of Cracker Barrel being a dependable standard is gone. The last few times we have visited Cracker Barrel have not been a good experiences. So in a way I’m glad we went to this location, because it has turned my devoted CB loving husband against returning. We ordered breakfast and much of it was not edible. The waitress was MIA except to give us a check. The grease they used was old had a bad taste. The biscuits were undercooked and doughy. The eggs were undercooked and watery. The only edible item was the pancakes. Like I said the consistence of CB is not there anymore, so as a part time local I won’t be recommending anyone stop here. It seems their main concern is to get as many people in and out as fast as they can without concern about quality. Slow down improve the quality and be good again.

A whole host of friendly smiling faces await you here! And good food too! This was my 4th Cracker Barrel visit(Alabama, Texas and Kansas) and I can say with confidence that this chain has consistently great food and service. I also love the gift shop! Fun and unique items at decent prices. Our server had some impressive muscles! The amount of drinks that woman could carry on her tray and not break a sweat… wow! Large selection of entrees and side to choose from, but I highly recommend trying the Hasbrown casserole. Those crispy cheesy edges sent me over the edge, 5 stars!!!

Literally the best breakfast steak meal I have ever eaten at a restaurant! I never usually seek out a manager to give compliment, but the satisfaction in my taste buds bounded my hands! I had too! The wait time was not too bad when I was there, but that was once on a vacation. I can not speak for it normally. My experience there was great though.

The food and the service were good. I also appreciated that the manager stopped by the table with a water pitcher to make sure that all the glasses were topped off. It was nice to see a manager who was that involved.

Cracker Barrel is usually a good choice for decent food and reasonable prices when travelling. We ate at a local place the day before but decided to stop here this morning — glad we did. Food was above par so we came back for dinner so this is a 2 part review. Breakfast: Served promptly and food was fresh. I honestly think that most of the food is fresher than the local place we enjoyed the day before. Love the breakfast sausage and gravy. Coffee could use some improvement. Dinner: We came back for the campfire dinners. I got the chicken — wife got the beef. Mine was perfect and just the right amount of food. Her beef was over cooked and dry but she said it was still pretty good. It was close to six and they were nearly out of the campfire dinners. Dessert: This is worth the price of admission folks. I ordered the blackberry cobbler which was decent but lacking much of the crust — which is the best part of a cobbler. Wife ordered the apple dumpling cobbler thing. First off, this thing is large enough for 3 – 4 peeps. WOW. And it is freshly baked — steaming hot — two scoops of ice cream and lots of crust — but not too much. I ate so much I was miserable later during our show. But man was it worth it. Going back soon just for the Apple Dumpling thing.

Ordered fried fish. Fish was just ok, mashed potatoes and gravy was under salted, green beans were cold but were replaced. Service was uneven. Had to remind waitress of requests made but items forgot. Had to wait in line about 15 minutes to pay. 4 pay stations but only 2 open. It seems to be for the tourists, mediocre food and service. Lots of tourist junk for sale.

Breakfast — served extremely over cooked steak — burnt taste. Normally Crackerbarrel is dependable. Not busy or any other reasoble excuse. Avoid.

I’ll start by admitting that I’m already a big fan of Cracker Barrel so this predisposes me to feel favorable towards them. However, since I eat at them often, I also know when one is being run properly. This one is! We were in Branson at a busy time — The Saturday before Christmas — and we knew it would be tough to get a table at the busier restaurants. Normally, I’d opt for a local restaurant since I can eat at C.B. anytime. However, this place was our choice for a family gathering of 7. Not only was it a busy time of year, but it was on a weekend and at the common dinner time of 6:30. We were seated very quickly and they put tables together for our group. The server was excellent, cheerfully answering questions and catering to my picky step-father’s many extra requests. Our drinks were kept filled and the food arrived quickly. The service didn’t stop there; our server checked on us often. Why 5 stars? Because they did such a bang-up job during a time when you would have expected a few glitches. Kudos to the staff– cooks, servers, and management.

I’m not the biggest fan of Cracker Barrels or chain restaurants, but this one is Awesome. Great Service, and Food!

It’s Cracker Barrel. I mean it is Cracker Barrel. What exactly are you expecting? It’s a very nice and busy Cracker Barrel.

Worst service in some time and poor quality breakfast. Could’ve been okay even with mediocre fare, but the slow rude waitress that couldn’t keep her fingers off the rim of the glasses and cups really made the experience extra bad. Not that I had any huge expectations for a Cracker Barrel breakfast going in, but have had much better at other locations. And if the guy playing Marty Robbins truly is «the best guitar player in Branson», there’s no show there worth seeing.

We were at Branson for the 2010 Thnx giving weekend to catch a few shows and have a good time… Tired and hungry, Cracker Barrek looked inviting for a good simple and not too expensive thnx giving dinner(had spent close to $ 60 last yr at san francisco). The dinner was the usual stuff but was reasonably good and i was filled. My husband liked it too… I think the 45 min wait to get a seat helped build an appetite… the place was packed so that in itself is a sign of a place that has good food :-)

Great trout! Nice service and facilities. They have books on CD you buy for cover price, but can return them for full price less a minimal rental fee at any of their locations! COOL! Sat out in one of their rocking chairs in front of their shop and had a cigar with my lady. Nice, country, wood porch felt like the real thing. ;)

This is one of those places that I miss terribly. Spent 5 years enjoying the best pankcakes, the sweetest service, and excellent coffee and bacon. After a day of kayaking-away a hangover from a night at McGuffy’s after doing my show(Andy Williams ROCKS!), I’d head over here for the rest of my hang-over cure… bacon, eggs, pankcakes, biscuits and gravy, a nd some coffee!

It’s a chain, but I think that works well in Branson! No one comes to Branson for a gourmet restaurant. No one comes here for the best sushi they’ve ever had. Or Thai food, or even the best barbeque. Folks are here for the Theaters. The Shows! The Outdoor Activities! You just need to eat to keep going. Cracker Barrel will fill your tummy with good old down home country food. Three squares a day. That is all that is needed. The service is always friendly and efficient. Get them in fast & served and out the door. NEXT!
