Food not always even warm. Rude workers. Not much of a selection. Way over priced. Service sucks most of the time and if you complain they don’t even call you back. Used to be a good place. But this year it has sucked.

The food was good and our sever was very nice but the place was very dirty. I realize that when you have people walking in by the dozens it’s hard to keep up but it doesn’t have to be this bad. Some of the staff also seemed to not care a world about their customers as well. Golden Corral locations are always hit and miss on the quality and cleanliness so I wasn’t surprised after this visit.

Today is the first time that I’ve actually realized that commercials are made more to lure in customers than made to actually show the reality of what you’ll really get and experience while there. We decided to eat here for dinner tonight and the first thing we were greeted with was a line of people waiting to get in! Surely, if there’s a line this long… the wait must be well worth it… right? WRONG!!! I wish that I could at least give them 1 ½ stars because the cashier was extremely nice and did his best to move the line along as quickly as possible. However, it was borderline hot inside once we made it inside. I had to go through 3 cups before I found one that didn’t have remnants of food left on it but I realize that sometimes that happens at buffets. BUT the reason why they are receiving a 1 is not because the food wasn’t good but because of the cleaniness of the restaurant. There were so many flies flying around that once we got to our table I thought maybe they were being trained to refill our drinks and remove plates from the table. The floor was so sticky in some spots that while I was standing in the buffet line both feet moved forward… one still wearing a flip flop while the other came out of my flip flop while my flip flop remained stuck to the floor due to the stickiness. The chocolate fondue machine didn’t work and they «improvised» by having chocolate in a buffet container with a spoon in it to «drizzle» the chocolate over the fruit. This is a tourist city and therefore they should have a system in place to keep hot, fresh food out for the customers (which they did) while making sure that the establishment is clean, free from an army of flies, while maintaining a comfortable and pleasant climate on the inside. As I said, the food was good but it was hard to enjoy it due to fanning away flies as if we were sitting outside eating at a company picnic.

The place was not the cleanest. But I don’t go to sightsee. The food was good, just like any buffet, you will find something you like and dislike. If you just hate and complaint about all the food here, you got issues. It’s a place to get full for cheap.

We had coupons from our hotel and the buffet had tons of choices. There was something for everyone. My kids were disappointed the chocolate fountain was broken but they used the hot fudge for the ice cream to dip their fruit in. There were lots of flies in the restaurant! Get there early – they close at 8pm on week nights which is bad during summer/​tourist season!

TV ads were appealing. Previous experience with Golden Corral in Clinton, MO was good. My experience at Branson, however, was underwhelming. It was very noisy and crowded. Beverage refill service was non existent. Food on the vegetable bar was terribly over cooked. Steak was full of fat and gristle. The whole place smelled musty like there was water damage somewhere. There was a lot of food variety, but most of seemed like it had been on the steam table too long or under a heat lamp until it got stale. Staff seemed like they were harried and none of them were smiling or friendly. If you are just looking for a lot of food without much quality, this is the place for you. Otherwise steer clear.

Food is average quality here but people don’t come for the quality; QUANTITY is king here. More food than you can shake a «proverbial stick» at. Like most Branson businesses it has… yup… a show and theater attached to the side of the building. Our server was a delight and very enthusiastic. If you have a hungry and not-​too-​picky crowd, especially kids, this is the place. «Klumps, party of 5, and we are HUNGRY!»

Been to fun child friendly Branson, home of Crow Shayed (black and white breed) cows/​bulls! This a fun restaurant! Most people eat what they like, me, this maybe childlike, but that how I think! State foods, yes have try foods from different states! There was Mississippi meatloaf, Louisiana bourbon chicken, Idaho baked potato soup, California sushi rolls, and even (think they playing on the name) Kentucky Fry Chicken and Kentucky Baked Chicken! One person in the tour group, had try as far four, «Go up again, then you can be in five states!» Po Po says to her, the lady in the group, «I figure that where the Idaho came from,» to me still not make sense! Idaho is nickname GEM STATE, not the POTATOES STATE! Their state Gem is Garnett! I giving this restaurant Five Star! Why is it that All You Want To Eat restaurants, any I read, many reviews so negative, many say they getting ill after they ate so much! If they want order Pediatric Menu, please do not go to All You Want To Eat restaurants! As say, I liking trying different state foods, all more reason for FIVE STAR, was so interesting! As you can see, I interested because different state foods! Hey Eric D (MARLIN FISH) at Sheraton Grand Sacra Hotel in town Sacra, California once say to me, «Many your views, your opinions are how child sees them, yet they honest! That what I like about you!» Right, tell him I going back to room, look it up! Try Psalm 8:2! Psalms 8:2, «Out of the mouth of babes, You have perfected wisdom, knowledge, and truth!» Tell Eric that time, left my paper and markers there, «I going back to room to look it up!» Anyway, I high to recommend this Golden Corral restaurant! Who knew one can eating foods from so many different states???

Visited here in mid-​March which I guess is at the beginning of the busy season in Branson.
The food that I ate was good. I’m not an extremely picky person so I was pretty well satisfied.
The reason I give this place two stars is because of the fact that the place just didn’t feel that clean to me. And it is starting to have that «run down» feel that restaurants get.
Also as I walked in I was greeted with the sign saying that they were out of CO2 so no soft drinks. But for some reason I couldn’t even get lemonade either. So I drank water. The sweets had been prepared for the chocolate fountain but the fountain wasn’t on/​working. I went to get soft-​serve ice cream and was told they were out of the mix. Ten minutes later someone in my party came over with soft-​serve ice cream.
In general I felt like they were unprepared to provide the things they promised to the public. I hope today was an exception. I wish them all the best.

The worst Golden Corral of the chain (we’ve been to many different ones across the country). No fish tacos or calamari as advertised. Other items were empty. I’ve never seen a more pathetic dessert bar at a Golden Corral. There were hardly any items. For example, there was only one type of cookie. No carrot cake. No vanilla ice cream.

This location is a locals place… Keep your expectations in place & this place is fine

Selection was big, much more to choose from than the other GC’s we have visited, and the food tasted good, but wasn’t as hot as it could have been. The price was a little high at $ 12.99 per person, but we ALL got full! Overall, good experience, and we would recommend it!

The pinnacle of human achievement. Never before have I been confronted with such a selection/​quantity of food (mostly fried chicken). How am I supposed physically eat while my jaw is wide open from sheer amazement?! I somehow pulled it off. This is the definition of USA!
Three stars due to the temporary cardiac arrest and crowded atmosphere — right next to White Water Bay after all

This is without a doubt the worst restaurants in Branson. The dining room is extremely dirty and the cost is very high for such poor quality food. I guess they think it doesn’t matter what you serve tourists, because it’s probably a one time shot. My husband and I both got sick after eating here. I know with Golden Corral restaurants it can be hit and miss, but this is one to miss. The sad thing is we aren’t tourists, and we will never recommend or return.

Went this past week after a day on the lake and thought this would be a great way to please everyone’s appetite rather than going back and cooking a late dinner. Food was under par for this restaurant chain. Kitchen staff looked as if there was no leadership and was in chaos. They also seemed to be behind on all the dishes as each time I went up to look at what was available the was slim pickings in each tray. This serene odd because they didn’t seem that horribly busy. The kids did love the dessert bar and liked the grilled steak, it did have good flavor. My husband was thoroughly disappointed with the selection as well. My daughter also mentioned after using the restroom that it was really gross. She said there was trash all over the floor and it looked like it hand been cleaned in a day or so. Would think twice before going back. Also wasn’t worth the price for the little bit of food that was available, which is kinda sad since the GC in Joplin, MO and Elgin, Il are the ones I usually go to and they have great food selections as well as impeccable facilities. Maybe this was just a bad day maybe not but I hope they improve for their next guests.

This used to be one of the top Restaurants in their whole chain but it has really gone down hill!
We have eaten here twice recently as a family of seven and both times I was seriously disappointed!
The grilled steaks offered on the bar were not cooked correctly and were grisly. The side dish options were not very flavorful and some were empty. The rolls might as well be from the freezer section.
Dessert options were decent and service was good.
I would skip this and go to another buffet.

A great place to stop if you are in a hurry and are hungry. We dashed in for a quick lunch today. Fresh spinach, tomatoes and other salad fixings were abundant. Also had an good variety of beans — refried, pintos & white beans cooked till they were soft and perfect. I did not save room for the succulent fresh cut pineapple…

Salad bar was good, and the hot bar was kind of hit and miss, nothing really special, but nothing really bad either.
Chocolate fountain: get’s and A+ rating, cotton candy melts to fast in the enviornment.
Bread pudding not good… But the peach cobbler was GREAT!!!

The family had spent the whole day at silver dollar city… Came here and they accommodated 17 of us in a short period of time… And they were busy! Very friendly wait staff. The food was very good an fresh.
Highly recommended for a buffet meal!
