What a joke! Very disappointed! We had a group of 12 go here, we new it would be a wait. They really weren’t that busy but we expected a group our size would wait. They said an hour and a half, and even though in the course of that time we saw several large parties leave, by God, they sure made sure we waited that full hour and a half. Not much room to sit and wait, the area they have you wait in looks like an over priced clothing store. When we finally got seated(an hour and 45 minutes later I might add), we were given menus then asked what drinks we wanted. We had to wait extra for the drinks because the all had to go dance(kinda stupid if you ask me), then she brought our drinks, and took our food orders. Food was good, but waited longer for them to dance again, by the way, the volume was a bit loud, and really not interested in watching them dance, we came to eat. Waitress was busy with others, so had to wait for drink refills, but she was at least friendly, and helpful when she could be. When we did get our bill, we didn’t think they deserved the tip they pre wrote on the bill, but we paid and left. We will never be back. All they cared about was selling their t-shirts, and dancing like idiots. We like White River any way. Don’t bother coming here, it’s just a tourist trap.

This was our second attempt at this Joe’s. We loved the one in Memphis(Germantown). It was a Thursday night so it was slow. We waited approx 10 minutes to be seated(a couple of employees stopped to tell us the hostess should be right back). After we were seated we waited another 5 – 7 minutes for someone to come take our drink order. We ordered a app sampler and a platter to share. The grand baby got a kids fish meal. The kids meal was missing the cheese sticks. The seafood sampler was missing the hush puppies. The stuffed shrimp looked like it had been man handled pretty roughly. The piece fish was so small especially when compared to the fish on the kids meal. The crust on the coconut shrimp was tough. The crab dip had a broiled layer on top that was very difficult to break with the provided spoon. Overall it was a below average experience.

Let me start by saying, our waitress, Angelina, was busy but always made sure we were happy and everything was okay. If you are looking for intimate dining, look elsewhere. It’s loud, crowded and tables are very close together. …And the wait staff actually danced to YMCA while we were there. But don’t let that stop you! Come after the main dinner hour. It was empty in there by 9:00 pm.(Check to see how late they stay open, ours was open till midnight). Find a corner table tucked away from too much traffic and enjoy the havoc. We started off with the garlicy mussels appetizer. Yum! Came with a piece of bread for dipping. Really a large serving. I think they could add a few sides and call it a dinner! Then we had the Ginger/Sesame Oysters on the half shell. 6 Delectable treats. We split a cookout: one ear of corn, a few small potatoes and a few shrimp and mussels. I agree with one other reviewer, they could have provided at least a second ear of corn and more potatoes for the $ 42. price. The lobster tails were good but definitely not excellent. I think we might try a different cook pot next time. Definitely not the place to order lobster, but there are many other varieties to try. We’ll keep you posted!

Very disappointed with the service and overcooked rubbery lobster. Waiter forgot my wife drink 2 times and didn’t apologize for it but made an excuse that they we’re still working on it. After 30 min from ordering her drink she got it and the place was only half full. Won’t be going back, $ 100 meal I know several places I rather go.

Service was ok. Seafood was not as great as one would expect. But the adult beverages were very good. Overall I say it was 50⁄50 and will probably not warrant me giving it another shot.

I came here with my parents while visiting Branson. Our waiter was Sean. He was an extremely good server! Very friendly and attentive. He also made great recommendations and made sure we had a great first time at a Joe’s Crab Shack. We ordered crab legs and the food was excellent. I am extremely pleased with our visit. Well worth the money.

This place rocks. It’s right in the middle of Branson Landing with both inside & outside seating. Great atmosphere and the food is good. I had a Hurricane cocktail and«Bam» it knocks your socks off. Great view of the Lake. I give it 5 stars.

Have been a fan of Joe’s for years, I love the way they do crab, and you always get your money’s worth… I have visited this location on many occasions, and never ran into any problems, this time I had a small problem, but it was taken care of efficiently and very professional… I had eaten at a Joe’s the previous week, in another state, and tried their Baridi Crab. when I arrived at this location I had already set my mind on ordering the same type. when it arrived at the table, I noticed immediately that it was not the correct crab. I had ordered a cluster of Snow Crab, in addition to the baridi crab, and both clusters looked exactly alike. paying the price I was for my meal, I brought the issue to the attention of the server who assured me that it was in fact the same crab, however the picture on my phone of the previous weeks meal showed how different it looked. I still disagreed and asked to see the manager. he arrived, looked into the steam pot and stated immediately that it wasn’t the correct crab I had ordered. due to a mix up at the shipping department, they were shipped the wrong crab in the right boxes. he immediately had another steam pot prepared for me with 2 new clusters of crab, and insisted that I go ahead and eat the one previously delivered. and he removed the crab meal from the ticket. THIS is awesome customer service, and THIS is why I keep returning to Joe’s on a regular basis. a great place to eat, with professional service. thank’s Joe’s!

Nice view overlooking the river. Food was good. We ordered the nachos for the appetizer which had crab meat and an avocado dressing. My wife doesn’t like avocados but even she liked it. I ordered the shrimp Platter which was really good. The only thing I didn’t like was the cole slaw as it was bland. My wife got the grilled Malibu shrimp which she said was really good. Overall the service was good, and the food is better than I would have expected being from New Orleans and thus expecting allot for seafood. I would recommend getting the Nacho appetizer but it is enough for 2 – 3 people.

Reservations only accepted more than 24 hours in advance. Went there at 4:30 in the afternoon and was told it would be after 6pm before they could seat us.

I highly recommend for a great time and good food that you check out Joe’s Crab Shack. Our waiter Josh was not only on top of his game with all of our food and beverage needs he also was entertaining the crowd along with his colleagues with some great dance moves.

Great time, great food! I’ve eaten at Joes before, not this location, but I thought the food and the fun were way better here than other locations. I’d say this was our favorite dinner of our entire vacation to Branson. It’s in a neat spot on the Landing, they text you when you’re table is ready. We had 2 steam pots with crab, mussels, clams, lobster, potatoes, sausage, corn… all very good! We had the TKO drink and the Hurricane drink… the hurricane is strong. We really wanted to pineapple piña colada, but they were out. My 2 year old had a blast dancing and clapping with the servers!!! Great time!

I am sitting here at the restaurant, having waited over an hour for our food. We arrived at 11:30 sowed would beat the crowd(we have 2young kids). Thought I’d start a review cause we have nothing else to do. I’ll update when we get our food. Update: Received our food 1 hr 10 mins after arriving. The food was good. We were offered 50% off for the long wait. The 50% off price was on par for the quality of the food, couldn’t imagine paying more than that. I guess you’re paying a premium for the«experience» when you’re at a place like this. The waitress was very kind and apologetic for our wait. This was my first experience at a JCS. Hope they’re not always like this. I initially gave it one star, but increased it to 2 since they offered the 50% off.

It’s a chain, yes. It does have crab legs! And crab pots using Sam Adams! It is in a tourist area, true. But the view of the river and the bluffs at sunset is awesome. Order what you like. What you’ll get at Branson’s Joe’s Crab Shack is extraordinary service. Our wait staff, Leah, LISTENED to everything we said and asked about. What we received was attentive service, courtesy, and warmth. Our food delivered exactly as ordered in a timely matter and with a huge smile. This cannot be an easy job, but Leah made us feel like we were her only customers. Awesome.

We went on a Monday night. The wait was about 30 minutes but they were busy. When we sat down the waitress told us all the stuff they were out of. That was a long list. Our food took a long time to come out. Hard to do if you have little kids if the wait on the food is going to be that long.

I love coming to the Branson Landing Joe’s. Specially in the winter when you can walk right in and get a table. The food at this Joe’s is the best. I eat here often and have yet to have a bad experience besides the wait in the summer. Three of us tonight all getting different items and everyone is smiling!

Joe’s was hubby’s ‘must eat at’ first dinner night in Branson :} our waitress was awesome!!! i ‘think’ her name was jennifer, not sure tho. all the food came out reasonably timed. scallops were sooooooooooo really sooooo good. kids are now a fan of calamari, after trying some of dad’s Skillet Paella. the dish, Paella, was spicier then expected but really sooo fully of flavor, it was great! Great experience all around. would totally go back there if we ever adventure back to branson.

Been all over and seen Joe’s Crab Shack every where. Always thought it was low class dump. Never been in one until today. It’s 2 dollar Tues and we are having a ball. Started with a Hurricane, out of sight. Make sure you stir the drink, it will knock your socks off. I’m use to watered down Happy Hour drinks but this one was exceptional.

It was good. It was not something that I’ll be dying to go back too but the food was alright. It wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t fantastic. I had the seafood paella. I hate tomatoes with a passion so I spent half the time trying to pick through my dish. It took about 30 – 40 for our food to arrive. It is in a really nice area(outlet mall) and after dinner there’s much to do. Mediocre food, pretty expensive. For my plate of food was $ 18. It was enough to bring back home, great servings. But it was mediocre food and I probably won’t be going back.
