We ate here for Thanksgiving. Nice traditional meal on the buffet. I don’t think it is overpriced, even on a normal day. And I don’t get where the reviewer said it smelled. We have eaten here on more than one occasion and never had an issue. Maybe they aren’t big seafood fans? There were a lot of people with bowls of crab legs on Thanksgiving, but even my super anti-seafood mother didn’t notice a smell. We will go back. There was NO line, and Golden Corral is dirty and there is always a horrible wait.

Do yourself a favor, and just turn back now, don’t even bother walking in the door. That’s what we should have done when we arrived at this place. First, when you walk in, you’re greeted by the stench(and I’m not exaggerating– stench!) of fish that just comes slapping you in the face. That should have been the biggest red flag for me, but I pressed on and decided to continue. The hostesses are nice, but they’re kind of all over the place as far as how to seat the waiting customers. But, after some grappling they figured things out and we were seated in a booth in the corner of the restaurant. When our waitress came to our table, she was very nice and courteous. She explained to us the menu and also the buffet options, which were either with crab legs(much more expensive, and probably worth it) and no crab legs(which was cheaper, and NOT worth it). We opted for the buffets with no crab legs– what a mistake. When we got up to the buffet tables, we gave the buffet a once over and we were so close to just walking out because it was SO underwhelming. But again, we pressed on. Normally, I can find things I like on any buffet, because I just love food, but not on this one. They had fried clam strips, coconut shrimp, chicken strips, crawfish(eyeballs and all! A waitress did teach us how to dissect it, which was educational???), shrimp, veggies, and desserts– which all seem awesome in retrospect, but not in this case. I tried a little bit of everything and it was all completely one note– no flavors at all. So disappointing. It took me an hour to get rid of one plate of food. Also, I completely understand that the atmosphere the staff is working in is fast paced and it makes you hot. But man, if you are going to be filling food at the buffet and your sweat is DRIPPING on the buffet, then you just need to get a bee keepers helmet or something to keep those sweat drippings out of there. It’s not appropriate, especially when you’re talking to the customers and they see it happen. Such a health hazard. To say it again, this is a terrible restaurant. If you really want to try it, it seems the buffet with the crab legs is the way to go– since that seemed to be the only thing worth eating at the place. Enter and eat at your own risk.

Friendly staff, food was pretty good, priced reasonably for a buffet. The ham in the buffet was cold but the French toast was good. A typical country breakfast buffet.

Salt salt salt everything was so salty it was all you could taste. Did I mention salt? Nasty stuff. Service was good however.

The only thing that saved this place was the crab legs, oh my they were awesome. They cracked perfect almost every time. The only time we had to use the crackers were for the claws. They have a small amount of crab boil on them. With that said the buffet is terrible. So if you don’t plan to spend the extra $ 13 for the crab legs go somewhere else.

was my first trip to branson and I was really hungary… me and mom went there to eat. first thing I see that upsets me is froglegs… I hate to even look at them, let alone eat them. our waitress was very nice, but the other staff were glaring at us, rolling their eyes… I can only thank God that our waitress was so nice and friendly or we would have left. the food was not really seasoned, it was sorta tasteless… it was clean and the fried chicken was good… the chicken and the waitress was their only saving grace…

my wife liked the seafood buffet, but the remaining food was only average at best. The atmosphere was stuck in the 70s, but at least the waiter was friendly.

Really great meat, fruit and yogurt buffet. Very friendly service. Family atmosphere. Looks like some locals here to enjoy breakfast with. Lots of meat at the bar, good for paleo, Keto and low carb/low sugar.

Well they have great green beans our grandson said but there was nothing else note worthy. The entertainment was different a very bossy waitress laying into a host. Out on the floor in front of all of us. Then the second was two of the waitresses getting ready to have a knock out drag out in front of all to see. Price was way to much for the food offered. Won’t be back!

We ordered the seafood buffet with the all you can eat crab legs for $ 31. It was awesome. The buffet was very fresh and delicious. The salad bar was very fresh and there was a nice selection. Our server, Amy, was fabulous. She was busy but our water was always full and she checked on its a lot. The hostess was delightful as was the person busing our table. We had 2 –22 year old boys with us and we got our monies worth. We recommend this place and we will go back. It is not a fancy place but it was clean and the food was fresh.

Wanted something light. This is not the place. Mozzarella sticks were cold. Sent them back. Quesadillas were cold, chicken tough and stringy. Carpet floor filthy. Waitress sweet and apologized. This place is a dump.

Our 14 year old ate a 20 $ mashed potatoes, 6 year old loved the 10 $ buttered buns, 4 year old tore into the 10 $ green beans. For the price of a show we got a Sea food Golden Corral at twice the price, without the chocolate fountain. Blandest Cajun Food to be had in Branson. On the bright side, we finally found a grumpy person in Branson, our waitress.

I am so impressed with the awesome food they serve, my family and I were upset we didn’t come here yesterday. Everything we are at this fabulous buffet was the bomb. When we return to Branson this is where we will eat breakfast every morning.

Overpriced and bland buffet. Save your money and go to Golden Corral. To charge for a buffet so that a child only wants to eat crab legs is unAmerican to say the least…7 yr old $ 16.99 and she only ate 4 crab legs and I was advised by staff I couldn’t share mine or share hers or would be charged for the cost. SMH. Management should revise this policy so it’s more affordable to the common family. WOULDNOTRECOMMENDTHISPLACE

So my family and I visited this place to eat dinner before a show which was our first mistake, the second was when we all got the buffett. There was only one table for the buffett and the cooks could hardly keep the 5 main items filled so the line is always. The food has hardly any taste what soever. When we got the check we were very shocked by the total of $ 130! Each person cost $ 20! I don’t have a problem paying that much for good food but this wasn’t even close to being good. I strongly suggest not eating here!

I give two stars just because the all u can eat crab legs! Yummy. They were the only thing that was great! The catfish is over cooked mushy and soggy! the coleslaw is a disgrace to all slaw’s! Bland no flavor ! They do sell slap ur mamma seasonings at the front desk if want flavor u will have to buy it and apply it ur self! The dinner buffet is20.00 bucks a person. Not worth it.

What to say? It was a standard — dated — a little bland. We both got the lunch buffet(at 2:15) and were reminded approx. five times that ‘last call for lunch’. Now if that doesn’t make you want to rush your lunch I don’t know what will. The food was decent. We had been on the road and not eaten a real meal all day… I think this may have been why I enjoyed it so much. One positive I will say is the food was for the most part very hot. I cannot stand when buffet food is cold! Good Job SM!

Let the tour busses with the old people eat here — go find something else. You can order off the menu, but they encourage you to eat the buffet. The buffet has the usual salads, veggies, and meats(seafood) on it but the food is bland and is on the overcooked side.

Crab legs!!! It was really good. I will come back!!! I was reading some of the reviews and I don’t understand why people go to a seafood place for breakfast and don’t understand why you expected a huge buffet in Branson Missouri maybe it’s just me. One thing I know I’ll be back with a bid to eat my crab legs! Yummy!!!
